Hell, just checking in for my weekly drop in. I so wish I could keep up to date more often as I did just a month or so. Oh when oh when will my work allow us access to the Internet again?
I am looking forward to next weekend and booking some excursions.
I also want to do the Tequila, Martini and Wine tasting. Yum!!! So make room for me please.

I don't think it is. If you go to the advanced search tab and check the Caribbean Cruises box, It will come up. For whatever reason, it does not show up from the main page. I think it might be an error due to the redirection from Costa Maya. THey are now considering the cruise a "Western w/ 2 stops at Castaway Cay". That option is not avialable from the simplified search. Who knows, maybe it will help keep the numbers down? Lets keep it a secret!

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday. Everyone well rested and ready to go back to work tomorrow?
I know I was going to stay home today and work on FE stuff but I went back out and bought more stuff for the FE itself. This is going to be the tackiest, gaudiest, shiny, bling bling FE ever. All it is missing is neon lights. Ken - sure you don't want to change your mind?

If you go to disneycruise a cruise search window comes up. Scroll down on the right of the window to Special Cruises, 7 night with 2 stops at CC. It will come up. The availability as of a few minutes ago: cat 4,5,6,7,8,9,11,12. Prices have gone up as well. But I'm not worried because I'm sure they will be calling me soon to let me know they have bumped me up from my cat 11 to cat 4.
Arrgh.

What is the list all about? I'm confused. (my normal state of mind)

My BFF that is cruising with us is lurking out there. I know she is reading these threads but has not registered to post. Come on Linda. We're waiting for you!!

I originally wanted to do one of the Panama canal trips. DH put the brakes on it because he was uncomfortable flying to the west coast. (He doesn't like to fly.) I gave up and made plans for this one and two weeks later he accepted an invitation to go to Vegas with his brother and 2 other friends. He could fly to Vegas but not LA? Go figure. I'll go through the canal some day. Maybe on my way to Hawaii on one of the new DCL ships!
Then again, if we would have done another cruise I never would have met yinz guyz (Pittsburgheze).

Oh, the wind is blowin harder now, 50 knots or their about . . . The latest track for Fay is right up the west coast of florida, about 50 miles off shore. That's the worse case for us since it has the worst storm surge.

How many are included in the fish extender group? How are you guys doing it? (every cruise I have been on has done it differently!!)

I am supposed to be boarding the Magic today to bring the Magic home from CA. My son and I took the EB Panama cruise....but we cancelled the WB....

I hope the group getting on board today has a wonderful vacation!! Is there anyone on this thread that did either the EB or WB Panama??

I think there are about 14 families involved in the FE. I think Stacie said the deadline to sign up for it would be the 24th. I think, if I understand correctly, each family will deliver their gifts either once or twice during the cruise. Stacie explained it to me, but sometimes I'm a slow learner. I'm sure she'll post and let us know for sure how it's going to work. The list of families participating is on the website.

I have a question for all of you experienced cruisers. If any of you have done any dolphin swims - do you recommend wearing water shoes? Is the platform you stand on "uncomfortable" in bare feet?

I think I cought you off gaurd on this one. Its from "Tryin' to reason with a Hurricane Season". I have no idea what 50 knots is either. My guess it its pretty windy though . . Either way, thanks for thinking about us. This one looks like it should be a "breeze".

I had set August 22nd as the deadline to sign up. After the 22nd, we can sign up for which day you want to deliver. We have enough famililes that each family only has to deliver once. Here is who I have for the FE exchange so far:

Busted!! You really got me on that one! And I'm trying to research knots to figure out how windy it is. Duh.
I think I'm brain dead from doing this FE. It's all the little stitches by hand. I'm having fun tho!

The last time I called DCL I had ask about dining rotations here is what they told me (same as what I have on the website).

The rotations are either LAAPLAP (5:30 and 8:00), APPLAPL (5:45 and 8:15), or PLLAPLA (6:00 and 8:30).

Monday is formal night, Wednesday is Pirate night, and Thursday is semi-formal.

Judy--When we did the dolphin swim in Nassau we stood on a metal platform that was not uncomfortable but a little slippery. We were in water that was in between waist and chest high.

Hi All,

I'm so excited that we paid off the cruise today!! One step closer. We finally took the time to sit down and map out a plan for this trip. We plan on having a lot of down time, and relaxing by the pool. I will definitely be at the tequilla tasting. We participated last time and it was well worth it. I even learned a few things about tequilla, but once it was over, I didn't retain much. They give you three decent shots of tequilla and two mini margaritas. I'm a light weight so I was a little tipsy!

Our plans are almost set. We'll fly in Thurs, attend MVMCP on Friday and drive to the port on Sat am. I have the cruise paid, the hotel paid, and the car rental ressies in place. I just need to order the MVMCP tickets. Oh, and I made our reservations with Dolphin Discovery for 12pm and 1pm on Nov 25. My DS and I will do the Royal Swim and my dh and dd will do the encounter.

I bought the fabric for my FE, but have no idea how I'm going to put this thing together. I know what my gifts will be but have to order them still. I think I may also need an extra suitcase for all my extra stuff.

I bought more magnetic paper and have some clip art saved. I need to pick up pillowcases for the kids. Still so much to do. I'll be happy to get the kids back to school and have a few hours three times a week to get organized.

GreenTad, I read your bio on your DD on the website. She sounds just like my DD. Sounds like the club may be in trouble with all the energy they have.

That's my update. I'm excited for next week, to get my ressies. I'm not planning on making many and I'm pretty flexible this trip, so no stress, just excitment.
