I just finished making the first 7 FE gifts. Only about 50 more to make. Michaels, Walmart and I are becoming real good friends lately.

Question for those of you who have done the magnets before, And maybe Sandy can offer some info here. I got these things by Scotch that was with the rolls of magnets at Staples. They are 1/2" clear squares, that you peel the back and front off of. You put them on whatever you want to hang and then to what you're hanging it on. They are removable. They say that they are safe for paper, plastic, metal etc. What do you guys think about using them to put up our pictures that I have printed off and didn't print on magnet paper?

TIA
Lora

Took the dog out this morning and watched a jet fly over. I got goosebumps! I kept thinking that will be us soon!

Lora - if the tape is removable I don't see why it would be a problem.

Have a great day everyone. I'll check back throughout the day (while at work). :badpc:

Today is 99 days day!!! It is officially double digit day

Judy pirate:

Judy,

You sound as bad as me. When I am home, I'm on the boards 8-10 times a day.

Bob says that I am addicted.

Maybe we need to go to Dis'ers annonymaous. "Hi my name is Lora and I'm a dis-a-holic" "Hi your name is Judy and you are a Dis-a-holic"

You're right. It has become an obsession with me! My friends, family and co-workers are so sick of listening to me talk about Disney, cruise, etc that they could spit. When I found you guys I knew there were others out there that had the same disease I have! The only problem is - I don't want to be cured! This is too much fun! :smickey: If you're going to have a sickness, this is a good one to have. It's healthy and harmless. I only wish it was cheaper.

I used magnet tape for some of ours last time. It comes in a roll, or in pre-cut strips, one side is sticky the other side magnet, then you can print on regular paper.

I can't say for sure, but if it's sticky they might not allow it. I know you said it's removable, but I read a thread a while back that said they would only allow things put on the doors with magnets.

You should be a guy and be obsessed with this. My DW thinks I am nuts! She is partially right though. Take a look at the smiles on our pictures below. That much fun is hard to find anywhere but on DCL.

Feels good doesn't it! A little over a week and we can start making ressies!

So who gets on at midnight to make ressies? Or does it open at another time? I need to make sure I get Flounder's with my Palo and spa times, so I want to get online as soon as I can.

I'll be up! Just remember, for those of you not in the Eastern time zone, its 12:00 Eastern!

As far as door decorating goes, in the past I have gotten 4x6 magnetic frames and placed premade signs or photos in them on the door. My kids have also decorated an 8x10 piece of paper with computer graphics and stickers and I place them in those plastic page protectors. They love changing them everyday so that their page correlates with the theme of the day.

I'll be up too since it's the weekend. We will have to post as soon as we know what we have. Or call each other!
I sympathize with those of you that have to coordinate your schedules with Flounders and additional travelers. We are very simple people with very simple needs. I don't think we're even going to do Palo this trip. DH says it isn't important to him and I'm flexible with it as well. Just the Dolphin swim at Cozumel, parasailing and eco tour at CC and drunken debauchery at Grand Cayman!
Suzanne - Changing themes daily on your door decorations is a great idea! I've recently started thinking about what I can do for decorations. Just need to get supplies.

Ken - I think it's great you are also an addict. Disney knows no gender and I know there are other guys out there with the disease!! You are just man enough to admit it. My DH becomes a 10 year old when we hit the parks. He hides it well when at home though!

Also remember when you get onboard to sign up for the tequila, wine, beer tasting. We did the tequila tasting last year, it was a lot of fun.

Cheysdad are you up for tequila tasting?

Did anyone ever fess up to having the Roy or Walt Disney Suites for this cruise?
Is it anyone we know:wave2: ?

I forgot about tastings! I will do tequila and wine. DH will be a repeat taster for beer if at all possible! :thumbsup2 And Martinis!
I would also like to build a ginger bread house. Does it have to be a family project? I can't imagine either DH or DS agreeing to participate in that with me. My DH will tell you he would rather drive hot spikes in his eyes! :scared1:

Is anyone else not going all out on formal nights? Been there done that, not doing it again. I don't plan to wear shorts or jeans, but I am not planning to wear an uncomfortable formal dress again either.

We tend todress up for formal night. ACtually I found that I had a gown for my daughter that fits her perfectly! She's excited for it!

Teresa....hhhmmmm why didn't I get the tequilla tasting request??? Think they have water tasting?:drinking1

We will dress "neatly and tastefully" but not in "formal" attire. I don't feel like bringing all that with us on the plane and having to worry about ironing etc. Plus my DH and DS hate to get dressed up. :sad2:

Since my friends DH and DS wear tuxes, we'll be dressing up just enough to not look like slobs next to them. So, while I won't have on a full ball gown, I'll be dressed up. I just need to lose a few more pounds to fit into my nice dresses.
