CONGRATULATIONS to you and your family!!!

Congratulations! I bet the kids are very excited about the new sibling.

I just checked on www.portime.com and it appears that the Wonder and Magic will both be in CC on our second stop (11/28). Can anybody verify this?

You're right. I went to Disney's website and looked up the 3 night cruise for the wonder, and sure enough, they will be at CC on the 28th. I wonder how crowded that will make CC? I can't imagine having two ships there on the same day. Maybe someone that has experienced this will let us know how crowded CC seemed.

I saw this back in May and called DCL to find out if it was true. They said, no, the Wonder will NOT be at Castaway Cay on Friday, they will be at sea. Normally, the 4-night cruise starts on Sunday. However, during Thanksgiving week, the Wonder switches the 3 and 4 night cruises.

The Wonder's itinerary is:
Wed 26th - Port Canaveral
Thu 27th - Nassau
Fri 28th - at sea
Sat 29th - Castaway Cay
Sun 30th - Port Canaveral

Turns out I can't read!:rolleyes1 I went back to DCL's site and saw that the itinerary I was looking at for the 3 night was for 9/24/08. Oops!:rotfl: Well, for once, I'm glad I'm wrong! Sorry!:rotfl2:

Thanks for clearing that up! Scared the you know what out of me. I like being around people, but I think that would be a bit too much!

Momtosupers;
Congratulations! That's very exciting news. Another little Disney fan! :flower3:

Seadooken;
The family beach at CC is crowded with only 1 ship, I can't imagine what it would be like with another. Standing room only! :earseek:

:rotfl: :rotfl2: Scared me too! I was wondering how many people I was going to have to take down just to get a beach chair!:lmao: :laughing:

Thanks for noticing. I am actually getting ready to walk out the door for work:surfweb: .

I'm hoping someone can help me out with this question. Our last cruise (4 day, Wonder) we had dinner at Palo on the night we were to eat at Animator's Palate. It was the night of our vow renewal and DCL scheduled everything for us. We missed the show at AP and that was something I was looking forward to. We definitely want to go to Palo again but I don't want to miss AP! When I was reading some old posts I read that you can request the rotation of the restaurants? That would make it so much easier to plan ahead. Do I call DCL for this, go through my TA? I know we have late dining but am unsure of the roatations. Anyone have any suggestions? pluto:

I'm usually on the bus by 7:15 but I'm doing a monitoring at one of our homeless programs this morning and I don't have to leave until 9. Hoping to take the afternoon off to enjoy the weather. We're finally getting summer weather! I hate cold and winter and it hasn't been hot enough up here yet. We've only hit 90 once so far! Not happy unless it's 85 or higher.

lexandme, I just noticed you are from Pittsburgh. Are you a Steelers Fan? We are.....GO STEELERS.

STEELERS and PENGUINS Fans!!!!

You'll recognize us on the ship - I'll be wearing my "Fast Willie" Parker jersey, my DH will have his Polamalu and our DS will be wearing his Hines Ward (unless he's wearing his Sidney Crosby or Marc Andre' Fleury)! That is we'll wear them as long as it's not too hot! Steelers start early practice next week. I have to check their schedule to see if they're playing while we're on board.I can't believe it's almost time already. We just finished the run for the Stanley Cup.
Are you from the Pgh area? If you need Pgh sports paraphernalia let me know and I'll bring it for you! I bought my DH a pair of Steelers Crocs to wear on our trip! :cheer2:

First of all congrats SUPERS!!!

NOW WHOEVER is putting pins in the voodoo dolls against all of us turkeys needs to stop! I can't remember whose DH got hurt and has the broken clavicle, but God Bless you guys.

From the previous couple of posts, you saw that I was in the hospital for 3 days with migraines. Thanks for the cheering up everyone. I really needed it and it was wonderful to know we have friends that we've never met.

Anyway, I came home on Friday, got to Dis a little and rest some.AND THEN--Sunday, Mackenzie our 8yo developed horrible abdominal pain The same pain that I have seen over and over in my 20 years of nursing and 2 times already with her. We drove to the hospital where Bob and I both work 40 minutes from home with her writhing in pain and begging for an IV and Medicine. SHE PAST HER 3RD KIDNEY STONE since August. She was admitted to the hospital and we just got home.

2 hospital admissions in less than a week. Bob told his boss that he needed to come to work to see his family, and with the price of gas and our 40 minute drive each way that it was cheaper to get a hospital room. HAHA

Poor McKenna (2) just doesn't know what to do. She has been pushed around and doesn't know where she is spending the night.

SO LETS PROCLAIM---NO MORE ILLNESSES OR INJURIES TO THE TRAVELLING TURKEYS, UNTIL AFTER WE HAVE LOBSTER DINNER!!!

We usually take our jerseys with us too. But this year they aren't playing while we are on the cruise. They play 11/20 (Thurs) against Cinn. and then again on the 30th against the Patriots (the cheaters as I call them). No, we aren't from the Pittsburgh area, actually Central New Jersey. But, both me and DH have always loved the Steelers. I might just take you up on your offer for Steelers paraphernalia, I'll let you know, thanks! We went out to training came in 2005 and it was a blast, we would like to do that again!

Let me know what you would like - we have it all!
And thanks for the schedule info. Last time we cruised (11/05)we watched the Steelers lose to the Colts. (But then went on to win the Super Bowl!)
My brother just moved from Pittman, NJ to Morristown, NJ.

Everyone - Stay healthy and be safe!!!!:mickeybar
