Just wanted to share---In about 1 1/2hours, WE WILL BE PAID IN FULL:cool1:yay: : Thanks to Uncle Sam and the stimulus check, and the money we've been saving. Mackenzie, McKenna and I are driving to our TA's office and handing it over. We just got our Amtrak tickets last week and now this.

OH if it was only 90 days and we could book our excursions.

Seedooken--what have you decided about Boatswain's? We're doing it. Like I said, maybe we can bribe the driver into stopping at the rum cake factory.

:cool1: Congratulations!!!! Making the final payment is a good feeling!

Congratulations on being paid in full! Our stimulus check is coming by the end of the week, but I'm using it to pay for my graduate classes.:sad2: It's pretty sad that I have to work so hard AND pay for it!:rotfl:

Congrats on being paid in full! We just paid ours off as well. It's nice to see the word "Booked" instead of a balance:banana: We are not sure about Boatswains yet. There is another couple going with us and within the next few weeks we'll get together and decide. It seems a bit steep for what you get - $90.

It's a great feeling isn't it? You own it. It's yours!

Our Mickey's Very merry Christmas Party tickets arrived today. They're beautiful! The graphics are stunning - very Disney. :wizard:
I received an e-mail from AirTran today. Our flight times had been changed from leaving Pgh at 10 and arriving in Orlando at 12:15 to leaving at 2:30 and arriving at 4:45pm. That would never do. The day would be half gone. So I rescheduled and now we leave at 6:15am and arrive at 9:30am with a 30 minute layover in Atlanta. MY DH doesn't know yet and he won't be happy about getting up so early but we'll pretend it's just like a work day with a better reward at the end!:dumbo:

Because we always take our own toiletries with us, we save our Mickey soaps and shampoos from our trips. .

DCL does not use Mickey shampoo any longer. They use an upscale name brand...which I love, but you may hate.

I have read about the new products being used on DCL. I will probably love them as well. My neighbors just returned from a 7 day to WDW and they brought back a bag of supplies. My other neighbors are going in September and have promised to do the same so I will still have something to deliver.

Seadooken - What's Boatswains?:earsboy:

Disneypoor - Hoping your DH received good news yesterday at his MD appointment. :goodvibes

Here is a lint to Boatswains: http://www.boatswainsbeach.ky/ I believe it used to be called the Turrtle farm or something like that. It looks really cool, but pricey for the short stay we will have in GC.

We found out yesterday that DH's collar bone will take 10-12 weeks to heal. It's broken into three pieces with fragments of bone around it.:scared: He has to take care of it or he could end up needing surgery which would affect our trip. I've warned him that I'll hurt his other collar bone if he doesn't do what the doctor says!:lmao: Honestly, he's doing better and better each day! He's stubborn though and needs to be reminded of things sometimes.;)

Yikes! Tie him down if you have to. :rotfl: I'm glad he's feeling better.

I've been playing around with some door magnet designs today. It's hard to find Thanksgiving clipart, but I did come up with this...

Am I crazy or wasn't this included in your previous post earlier?

I really like the design. Just wanted to mention the S is missing from Thanksgiving.

:lmao: Yes, it was included in my previous post, but I realized the "s" was missing so I went back and fixed it. I had to play around with the letters because all the capital ones had eyes in them and I didn't like how they looked. Somehow I ended up posting the wrong one again.

Thanks for the link. I went to the site and it really looks beautiful. But I have to agree with you, it's a little pricey and we are very limited with time. I think we'll probably just shop and explore on foot while in Grand Cayman unless something else comes up that we have to do. We really haven't investigated the shore excursions on GC. We had planned on only shopping in Costa Maya also since we're doing so much in Cozumel and CC. :cool1: :sail:

Is anyone NOT going to have/get a passport for this cruise? We were planning on getting them this summer, but now I'm starting to rethink that idea. Technically we don't need them and they cost a big chunk of $$$ that I'd rather not spend right now. I'm still on the fence though. :confused3

We all ready have ours. I'm making my parents get them as well. They are required if you have to fly home from the Caribbean. I wouldn't want to have to fly home but if something bad enough happens that we do have to I don't want to have to worry about it.

We went to the turtle farm in GC last December. We didn't pay for the beach part. It looked nice but I'm not sure would be worth $90. The taxi fare out there and back was expensive too, I can't remember what it was but it wasn't cheap, it's a 20-30 minute ride each way from the pier.

I already got mine because I thought we had to have them for any trips after January 2008. Besides, it'll be easier to carry the books around than our tattered birth certificates.

On another note, I just looked up room availability on the DCL site and they didn't offer anything for our cruise. If it is completely full does that mean I can forget about a possible upgrade from my Cat. 12?
