Will anyone be doing the fish extenders on this cruise? Just curious.

OK, disneypoor did PM me the new website (Thanks!) but I get an error everytime I try it.

I have the website saved in my favorites. I can access it by clicking on it from my favorites. However, when I try to type the address in to the address bar, it doesn't work for me either. I can't figure it out! I'll keep trying though and let you know if I get it to work!

Greetings from the September Double Dip thread We just noticed today that our Costa Maya stop was replaced with Grand Cayman. It still lists Costa Maya on the public DCL pages, but when logged into the DCL site with the DCL confirmation number the itinerary shows Grand Cayman. It appears the October Double Dip is going there as well. Just wanted to let you all know.

Hey there, Traveling Turkeys...it's another Double Dip Delighter from the Sept DD. Just wanted to update you with hot off the press news. MAYBE MAYBE things will change for you guys as you get closer. I'll keep my fingers crosssed for you.

One of our Sept 27 Double Dip cruisers just made these postings:

Just received a phone call from DCL.... Officially changed - Costa Maya has been changed to Grand Cayman.

Received the call about 30 minutes ago around 7pm EDT. I was told that DCL is canceling all the Costa Maya ports, for our cruise and all the following special cruises too. The port is still too damaged for us to go there or dock. All they offered was if I wasn't happy with the itinerary change is to move to another cruise itinerary and date.......

I also just got an email from Dreams Unlimited stating it's official. Personally, I'm disappointed in the itinerary change, however, I'm very sad for the native islanders. No doubt they really need us there for their economy. Very sad.

We were very disappointed with Costa Maya when we went last time. Actually went on an excursion and demanded our money back because the conditions were discusting!!!

What is there to do for little ones in Grand Cayman? We went about 4 years ago to the turtle farm, but I have heard that a hurricane washed most of them back out to sea.

Any other cool places to go with a 1 year old? What's the best beach?

Hey Tinkermommy, we live about 30 mins away in Jefferson Ga. Dh and I both work down in Gwinnett. We also have dd7, she'll turn 8 during the cruise.

Okay veterans - What do you love about Grand Cayman? We haven't been to either but had planned to tour the Mayan ruins through a David & Ivan tour. I was definitely looking forward to that. So now we are thinking about the Aquaboat & Snorkel Adventure at Grand Cayman. I'm not sure I want to do a beach excursion since we will be at CC twice. The Rum Point Beach Adventure and the Seven Mile Beach Break sound as if they simply charge to get you to a beach..... Are those beaches much different/better than CC?

I'll have a 2 year old so I'm also trying to find a good excursion. I figure I'll spend plenty of time at the beach at CC, I don't need to do that at Grand Cayman. I am excited about the change since we've never been there.
