11/4 - Monday

MGM Today. Started with Great Movie Ride, then Muppet Vision. On To Millionaire - I ended up in 6th place but not good enough to get in the hot seat. Maybe next time.

Had lunch at Rosie's. The pizza stand was due to open at 11 but didn't until about 11:15 - another example of the problems I saw with promptness.

I left about 11:30. My family stayed in the park. I went to meet up with a CM friend of mine who took me shopping at Property Control and Company D stores. Bought a few things. They had DisneyQuest Chicago t-shirts for $2 and sweatshirts for $3. Got a couple of ther shirts too since they mark down clothing 75%.

Rejoined my family and watched the Stars and Motorcars parade, then headed out. Took a ride to LBV to check out the Residence Inn on Palm Parkway. Very nice new hotel. Suites are on the small side, similar to other Residence Inns I've stayed at. Might go there sometime with Marriott Reward points.

Headed over to Beaches and Cream for dinner. Waitress named Darlene has been there everytime we've gone. She always remembers us and it was fun to talk with her for a while. That's the neat thing about Disney World. There are CM's like her who, even though they see millions of guests each year, still manage to remember us.

Went back to our hotel and went next door to Old Town. Our hotel gave us free ride coupons for Old Town, so we all did several rides there. Actually, the free tickets were worth about $40 which made the hotel an even better value.

That was the end of Day 3, a very full day. Day 4 report coming soon.
