We knew Stacey would die cause she had cancer and well a few months after Stacey passed away I asked my Aunt to take on the responsible and she said sure. Not only that.. My aunt is my Godmother as well.

My sister does not get along well with my oldest and its her God child go figure that one out.

I guess you can just go up to the person you want to be the Godparent and ask them. Ask them to pick up where the other left off. Thats what I would do exspecially if you don't see them anymore or speak with them.


You got that right come on October lets come and go very fast so we can go to Disney!!!

Jill are you ok we have not heard from you in a while?? Hope you are ok....More good news here my sil and her son are moving out in 17 days! yeah DH and I are really doing the happy on that one!!!!! I thought it would be nice to have them here but what was I thinking. She is ok but my nephew who is 21 and does not want to do anything with his life is driving us crazy to the point we don't even want to come home and this is our house.!!!! go figure that one out. Well off and running to get ready for school and work.. Talk with you all later.

With the new categories in the Castaway Club starting next month, the gifts will more than likely be changing. From what I read, Silver members will get one type of gift, Gold another and Platinum something else.

Probably once it starts on the Magic (I think the 10/3 cruise) we will have a better idea. We won't know for sure that the Wonder is doing the same gifts until after Dry Dock.

WOW - I REALLY need to try and get on these boards more!! I had no idea that the Castaway Club was going to branch off into categories. I know other cruise lines do this...not really sure how I feel about it. Hmmm....

I know what you mean, 4 nights will go by in a blink. We've taken a Princess repo cruise from San Francisco to Vancouver that was 4 nights and it felt like a long weekend. I tried to convince my group in the beginning we should do a 7 night cruise, but they wouldn't go for it.

Let's all keep our fingers crossed the strike doesn't foul up our cruise.

On the upside my immediate family has all received their flu shots this week. Hopefully we'll all stay healthly.

I don't think we have but we really should. I will be fighting w/ physics actually so once I get past a about a few weeks from now, I can't do any more of what I did did. OMG guys! I'm SO EXCITED to give my gifties to you! I got some cute stuff for the kids today too.

Can we say Oct 15th? That's 1 month prior.

Hey all! Yeah we getting excited about the FE gifts as well. You know we did since we are a large party and you might want to think quickly on it. We are pitching in as a group and getting the FE gifts. That might be an idea for you. We all still need to get some stuff for the kids..

How do you all get the candy and all there:? You put it in your suitcase?

Well all I'm on my way out the door this early Saturday morning. I need to go something called Relay University. It's for our Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society. Check out my web page on it. www.relayforlife.org/dundalk and go to Relay teams and look for Heart & Soul sorry my story is not up there yet I have to do that soon. Long story short on why I do this. Lost my cousing at the age of 22 11 years ago, Then in 06 I lost both of my grandparents to it. 08 lost my mother in law, My Aunt has battled breast cancer twice and Kidney cancer once in the last 13 years. My sister beat cancer and Now my Pastor is battling Kidney cancer. So thats a short version of why I do this.

I am not going to spoil the surprise but I can tell you that you are all very very lucky and what she has done is amazing

I think October 15th is a good plan.
That way we still have a little time for any last minute additions, but still plenty of time to get our things together.

My friend who made DH's pirate costume is going to make one for abby!
Hers is going to be in pinks and blues... Maybe not very traditional, but it will be SO cute! I found a pattern for costumes like jack sparrow's for kids, so my friend is going to make it! I can barely handle buttons myself ;-)

How do you all get the candy and all there:? You put it in your suitcase?

As far as I've read, you can bring it in your suitcase or in your carryon as long as it's not opened. They're sticklers about food items being SEALED. And don't ship it ahead of you to the boat (didn't want to use 2 "ships" in 1 sentence ) because shipping food isn't allowed.

I'm thinking about shipping a few things like diapers and wipes. They can be kind of "weighty" to have to truck w/ us.

Is anyone else shipping anything ahead? What kinds of things.

Also, most of you probably know but I sure didn't having not left the country before. If you shop before the trip, KEEP your receipts! You might need to prove what you bought before your cruise so you don't have to count that against your daily "allowance" of duty free stuff.

I'm about ready to get my checked luggage out to start throwing things in there because my little carryon is full now. I KNOW I'm going to forget something important. like IDs!

Just been busy. I pop in to read but don't post everytime. The last time I was here I wanted to post something but I couldn't think of anything. I was just excited about the date getting closer and closer

The 15th sounds OK for the FE. I'm easy. We're having fun getting everything ready. I had oringinally thought about the Oct first cutoff deadline but no one seemed very eager or disappointed. I didn't read any real opposition (yet) to moving the cut off to the 15th. It's fine with me

We also trying to get our 3 year old completely potty trained. And also trying to boost our immunity systems to get rid of all colds and be compelty healthy for the cruise..

I love the idea posted above about thinking in terms of being just 5 fridays away.

I'm soooooo looking forward to having time off from work. Oye. I love working for my company where there are lots of rules to installing projects and also for a client that doesn't care about the rules but wants the changes on their timeline...... Ohhh just 5 more fridays..... I'm gonna go hog wild.
