I just wanted to say welcome to everyone who is new! We are a great bunch of cruisers who all are excited to meet eachother in a few short months. Hypermommy (Denise) will post a reply and request info for our spreadsheet which is really the best way to keep track of everyone!

I am cruise planning tonight, if anyone else is up...chime in!

I was thinking maybe we should have a celebrating anniversary thing on board. What do you think? We're celebrating our 10 years with a vow renewal. Yeah for all the anniversaries!

You know, drinks on deck one night might be a good way of toasting all the anniversaries. I might just include ours if we do. Felt kind of funny saying e were celebrating our anniversary because it's not until 14 December and that's a few weeks off from the cruise, but maybe... just maybe...... Actually, KC says he can always remember our anniversary because on December 7 was Pearl Harbor and then a week later he got the bomb dropped on him!

Just in case you missed the 20% discount offer by Dolphin Discovery in Cozumel, the deal is back through end of June. We missed last month's promotion because DD has done the Dolphins Encounter in Cabo last year and said she was only interested in Royal Swim (but she will not be old enough). Lo and behold, she changed her mind and decided Dolphins Encounter is better than nothing... so thankfully, the discount is back! We're signed up for 1 pm.

I tried to email them regarding the discount but I think I'm going to have to give them a call. If I can get it for this special price maybe I'll get in with the dolphins too. Should be kind of funny! Hope all the dolpins don't attack me or something thinking I'm some kind of whale in the water with them.

Woo hoo!! My Fish Extender arrived today. I bought it off Ebay and the lady customized it for me.

Unfortunately, the 4 park maps are printed double-sided, so I can't frame them. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to display them.

I just put the Epcot map up on the hallway wall the other day. Just taped it up... no frame or anything. And yes, it sure was a bummer having to pick between Epcot and MK as to which would show. But it's been a while since I've ordered maps from Disney so maybe I just need to order another set so I can have both pictures showing.

Does anyone else feel compelled to make their final payment? I know there is no logical reason for paying before the due date, but everday I have to use extreme willpower to stop myself.

Oh, you're going to love those sooooo much!!!! That was such a wonderful excursion for us!!!!! But make sure to take PLENTY of water. That's the day that we were all drinking Pepsi out of King Charming's obscenely large cup and he still got a bit of heat stroke or something because he just didn't stay hydrated enough with all of us drinking from his cup. So take plenty of water on this excursion.

We are also booked on the Nov. 14, 2009 DC. It is me, my husband, and to children, son 13 and daughter 10.

Please send me a PM with your email address so I can get you access to the spreadsheet on which we've been saving information (room number, # of kids, ages, who's doing the FE, who's dressing for pirate night, etc.). Also, I'll send you a link to our "private" board. (everyone else who's heard this a million times just bear with me). It's not really private in that it's not behind a firewall or anything, but I do try to be careful of who gets the URL because we've got pictures of our kids there.

Your son and mine will probably have a great time hanging out together. My son will turn 14 in September so they're right at the same age. It's his first time in The Stack and he's sooooo excited about having "graduated" to there.

Hello!!

We used Budget - I got a code from mousesavers and booked a one-way from the airport to the port ($35-ish), then booked a second one-way from the port to the airport ($90-ish).

We booked Budget too, picking up Fri at MCO and dropping off Sat at the Port, total is $51 for full size car with taxes & fees. On the return, we booked Thrifty, picking up at Port and dropping off same day at MCO, total is $60 for full size car with taxes & fees.

BTW - can anyone enlighten me on how to do multiple quotes from different posts?

I can help with this. See the little buttons to the bottom right of every message? The one on the left is the quote button. The smaller one in the middle that has a quote mark and a plus sign on it is the multiquote button. Just click that button for every quote that you'd like to include in your reply. You'll see it turns red (I think). Then on the last post that should be quoted in your response hit the quote button. Now all of the multiple posts that you've selected go into your reply with the [ QUOTE ] marks around them. You just type in between the quotes.

OMG, If ya do Palo's and you like fish, you gotta try the monk fish. It is the ugliest fish I have ever seen, but thankfully, they don't serve the whole fish. I'm not big on fish, but I like lobster, and they call this the poor man's lobster. It was to die for!

By the way, I'm just lurking on your site because my two sisters, NC-Monkey and TiggggrNC are cruising with you all. I am in the process of planning my next cruise in 2010, for my 20th wedding anniversary

And if so please may I have one or the info: so I don't have to work you to death. cause a while back I think kim, my sister told you that I might want one well, I do,just not sure of the color of the shirt and my size is Lrg. I'm packed and ready to go and then I unpack because I can't make up my mind. These day's I can't get kim motovated. we have thing's for the FE's and having to put in a bigger suitcase and kim's not in mood to do any thing just yet.

I'm actually off to Target in a few minutes now that my husband is home from work. I need a cruise break shopping excursion! I love finding stuff for the FE's. I need to watch the spending because I still haven't finished paying for everything yet! I may start reading a Dave Ramsey book just to keep me out of stores!

I had my TA get in touch with the Shutters people to find out about having them take our group picture at the DISMeet on Saturday. They want an $80 sitting fee to take our group picture! I think not.

So on to Plan B. Let's all bring our cameras and we can just trade off taking group pics with each other's cameras. I have a small digital that takes OK pictures, but if someone has a nice SLR or something along that line, maybe you could take some group pics and then post them on this thread after the cruise. That way, we can download the pic from here for ourselves.

No, I'm not making the shirts. Unfortunately the places where we could get them made one at a time (i.e., me set up a shirt and folks just order what they need) decided that our design was copyright infringement. Bummer! But I still have the design in a 10"x8" format and we can each print them off on t-shirt transfer paper (available at Wallyworld) and iron them onto t-shirts. Send me a PM and I'll be happy to send you the addy from which you can download the design.

That's when I think I'll be getting really excited is when the cruise is paid off. Until then I think I don't want to jinx myself.

I agree that we should just trade off cameras and take pics. Don't forget that we can all post our pics on our private gallery site after the cruise and then everyone can share in each other's pictures. And not just the group picture but all of them. At least I hope y'all will put up your pictures because there always seems to be something I missed for my scrapbook. I think it has something with the drink of the day whispering something like "yeah, but to use the camera you'd have to set me down and you don't want to do that, now do you?"

DH has a Rebel so he can bring his so we should be able to do this without Shutters help.
