Yeah, we are all set with our flights. We bought our outbound flight back in April because it was only $110 on Delta nonstop from LAX to MCO. No luck with the flights back though, so I finally cashed in our AMEX points for Jetblue rewards. We redeemed three one-way tickets from MCO to Long Beach, with a stop in Austin I think.

Good luck with your flight arrangements. I hope you find a good deal on Southwest!

We are undecided on flights. Thinking of flying JB but the fares are crazy right now. I am checking all day and night. Last night I was up til 3 a.m. Needless to say I am beat tonight...:surfweb:I did get some door magnets done by Mel and they are darling!

You're right. I saw your post on the transportation boards and looked at LB and SD fares. I can't believe that they are higher than Seattle to Orlando! What's up with that? Since we're waaaaay up here in the NW corner of the US, we usually win the High Airfare lottery. I sure hope you can find better fares.

You and me both sista!:surfweb: I am having horrible luck...I think I need to cool my jets and go to bed!

When you have some time, could you post pics of your door magnets? I'd love to see them.

We are flying American from LAX to MCO and Delta from MCO to LAX. Both are nonstops and the total was $1197 for 3 of us. We could have paid $1106 on Southwest, but we would have to make connections. Since we are travelling with a 3 year old, we opted for nonstops. With baggage fees, the difference ends up being $218. To me it's worth it. Good luck with finding a deal on airfare (if there is such a thing!).

I need help. I can't access the private webpage. I have PM'd Hypermommy once (or twice?) but have not received a response with the password. Any thoughts? I know she is very busy.:flower3:

I got my Travel Kit today!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

This is starting to get real, not something off in the distance somewhere!! :woohoo::woohoo:

VERY cute magnets!

We received the packet for the 7th cruise and my TA says the 14th is in the mail. WOO HOO!

Does anyone else feel compelled to make their final payment? I know there is no logical reason for paying before the due date, but everday I have to use extreme willpower to stop myself.

I have a note on my calendar to call my TA and make the final payment right after my credit card cuts off in early August. That way, when my window opens on 8/31, I'll be good to go.

That's about what I got for our one-way from the Port to MCO. We'll be there for 10 days beforehand and the best that I could do was a minivan from Thrifty for $500 for the 10 days (but that does include the drop off charge at the Port).:scared1:

Our problem is that we have so much luggage because we're going to be gone for 3 1/2 weeks, that I don't think we can fit it all in a full-size. But, I did get the mini van for only $50 more than the full-size for the 10 days, so that's good. If I could score a full-size for $300 for the 10 days, I'd make our luggage fit somehow - stuffed on the back seat floor, in between the girls in the back seat, on their laps, on my lap, between my feet. :lmao:

Thrifty changes their prices like everyday. We got a minivan for a wk for $179!!! My friend told me about a sale for that price that they were having. I snoozed and the price went away in like a day. I was so pi$$ed that I did reserve a minivan, but then decided (since I do not have anything else to do- with a job, 2 boys, DH, eetc;)) to check the web site everyday for about 3 wks (?) and sure enough the price went straight down. Keep checkin their website. Be sure to register for their blue chip number. Good Luck!:cheer2:

I most definitely will keep checking. I've got a Blue Chip number, in fact, I think I'm registered with just about all the major rental car companies. :lmao:

Most of the rental car coupon specials run through 6/30, so I'm guessing that we might see some fall deals coming through after that.

Moments ago, I paid it off....WOOHOO!!! Guess now all I have to do is wait for my Travel Kit, make my FE gifts, shop, plan, make lists, etc. etc. etc. :rotfl:

Today is our last day of school - the kids are anxious to start summer and all I can think about is the cruise....

Have a great day!!
Lisa

Hi! Everyone :wave2: Sorry that I haven't been around that much. I can't believe we only have a little over 4 months to go. T said it's only 19 more sailings until our turn.:woohoo: We also need to make our last payment, but keep putting it off. Looking forward to seeing everyone:cheer2: Also have to recheck our stuff,to see what stays and what goes.:thumbsup2
Have to go for now, will chat later. Take care :wave2:

We got our airfare yesterday!!! WooHoo!! Luv those SWA prices! Mom and I got round trip airfare for $150 each!

Hopefully when we get home tonight, our Travel Kit will be in the mail box...

I spent quite a bit of time last night looking a door magnet art. I'm going to take a crack at customizing it, but I'm not sure that I have the right software to do it. I have Picture It and Paint, so we'll see how it goes. Fortunately, I have a friend who can do it for me if I strike out. Oh well, at least it will distract me this morning while I wait for my colonoscopy this afternoon. :scared: Wish me luck!

I'd be happy to make anyone some magnets - just let me know what you'd like. Good luck with your "procedure" this afternoon - I've had a couple of those and they are certainly NOT my favourite thing in the world to endure.......

I'm hoping our Travel Kit shows up soon too although it usually takes twice as long to get to Canada...something to look forward to!!
