I've got some really unique things, and lots of fun stuff for the kids.


I've got some coloring activity sheets, so if the kids can bring markers, crayons, etc... we'll pass out the coloring sheets at the Saturday meet and we'll give away some prizes towards the end of the cruise for the best, most creative, most colorful, etc...

Well, you do have a point there. But then again, I can be a bit loud and get everyone quiet. I don't mind showing my butt... I seem to do it rather often.

Speaking of showing my butt, maybe it's a fashion thing (my sister is convinced I should have been a guy) but can you explain to me why you need 2 bathing suit bottoms but only one top?

Actually, if anyone would like to do a standard weekly chat I wouldn't mind holding it on my website. We could just set a time (Wednesday at 9 worked out well for the dolphin crew) and I could put the link on our forums and on the spreadsheet somewhere.

That's amazing!!!! I think I'm going to have to rethink my FE gifts as I'm not sure I can afford what I was going to do. I think mine are probably going to have a lot to do with candy (and I'll get sugar free). I remember on our last cruise we had like 40 people and everyone was saying what a large group of DISsers it was... but 100+.... wow!!!!!

I would participate in a heartbeat. I think that Friday night cruise chat is on the board but I don't ever even go. We use MSN at the office as we are too lazy to get up and speak to each other but that is about my only experience with chat - and once and a while in Yahoo or on Facebook.

This was the first chat that I know of. Everything is open to everyone. I think we planned it last week sometime. The results of the chat are as follows:

For anyone going to either the Dolphin Encounter or Royal Swim that was booked independently from Disney:

Meet at the Mickey Mouse statue outside Luminere's at 9:15. We will plan to leave at 9:30.

We will all exit the ship together and get taxis together to offset the cost. Bring small bills for this purpose.

Bring towels from the ship also.

Sandiegosusie (me) will be buying the DVD or video from the Dolphin Encounter, and DH will burn copies for everyone that wants to chip in.

Hypermommy (Denise) is designing a t-shirt logo, more to come on that one.

We will be leaving all together after the Dolphin Encounter which starts at 1:00, to stay safe in a group.

Everyone should pm Hypermommy to let her know who is coming so we can wait if needed. Don't want anyone to miss the gathering...

I think that's everything...our east coast girls were tired so I am reporting...any questions?

For those of you doing the dolphin royal swim, you will have an absolute awesome time, we did this last year and will never forget it! The chat about it almost makes me want to book this again.

We took a taxi, 3 families there and back very easy to find you just have to walk through the mall area. I can not remember the prices as we had a voucher for a free taxi ride with our purchase of the royal swim. It was also nice when we left, quite a few taxis waiting outside. You all will have a great time!

Sure hope I didn't make anyone feel left out. This particular chat was for folks doing the dolphin stuff in Cozumel as we wanted to plan where and when to meet so we could go together. I'm a bit nervous about being in Mexico alone with Eating Machine #2 (KC and EM#1 are doing the zipline thing) so I'm thrilled to be staying with a group. And this nervousness is without even watching "Locked Up Abroad" (which I refuse to watch becuase my overactive imagination doesn't need any assistance... just ask KC about my imagination).

Anyway, so that was last night's chat. I didn't want to leave anyone out but it was for a specific purpose.

However.... since we're such a chatty group, if anyone's interested in doing a weekly chat, please email me (email addy in my sig) so I can give you the link to the chatroom. I can't do it through PM (DIS blocks the addy) so please email me. I'll make it a point to be in the chat room on Wednesday nights at 9, but, of course, you're welcome to pop over there at any time and see if anyone's around.

And Susie, thanks a billion for posting the update. I was about 2 minutes from the end of our chat until I was sawing logs. If anyone doing the Royal Dolphin Swim or the Dolphin Excursion would like to be included in the group just PM me. No registration or anything needed... I just want to make sure we don't leave someone behind. I know how nervous I'd feel in Mexico all but alone (there goes that imagination again. )

I've been a productive cruiser this morning! Caught up on all the posts I missed, and finally broke down and signed up for an e-bay account so I could contact gradysmommy about a possibly getting an FE made for us (since my pre-cruise time is shrinking rapidly!).

Welcome back from WDW, elderfam. I went a few times for Labor Day weekend, but it was hot hot hot, so this year we're doing our long weekend in October. Can't wait! Just three more weeks!

Also, glad to hear the new job is going well for hypermommy.
