He has not checked posting for a few days and cannot believe all the posts...he can't keep up. He compares this to two women talking to eachother about 2 different subjects at the same and yet they understand eachother...and...like most men is lost in the confusion

Yep.. he's probably totally lost because we do carry on several conversations at once. That's just what talented people (read: women) do. Actually, I heard of a scientific study one time they did where they put people in a room and had two radio shows playing at the same time. The women could tell you about bits and pieces of each of them but couldn't tell you the whole story of either one. The men could tell you all about one but nothing about the other. They figure it's an evolutionary thing... we were minding the children and gathering fruits and nuts and watching out for creatures that might attack, etc., etc. Men? They had one thing to concentrate on -- kill the woolly mammoth. So we (men and women) learned to focus differently.
That's one explanation for it.
Personally, I think the intelligence gene is carried on that last little leg of the X chromosome that they don't have.

Wonderful. Count me in for two lanyards (DW-Sandra and myself-Richard). DW is not on the DIS, so she doesn't have a username.
Last cruise we did, I put the cruise logo on the back of the shirts and put a DIS green Mickey head on the front where a pocket would be. I put KC and my board name on the Mickey head but had a time figuring out what to put on the boys'. I finally ended up putting DS12 and DS14. This time, of course, I'll put EM#1 and EM#2. But that's an idea for a nick to use. Maybe not a great idea.......
How hard should I try for Palo ressies. How disappointed should we be if we can't get it this time?
Don't freak. I didn't do Palo at all when we cruised last time. Our family's just not into the "fine dining" thing. In fact, we ended up asking our servers for regular meals if it could go a bit faster. There's so much to do on the ship that we didn't want to spend 2 hours eating.
The only thing that's making me really want Palo this time is the group thing we're doing because I LOVE going out to eat with a bunch of friends and that's the kind of thing this will be. Unfortunately, we might not be able to make our ressies at the 90 day mark becuase I'm still waiting on a check from the client (not really their fault, not mine either... just a long story). Anyway.... so I may end up not being able to get the right time either... BUT I know they open up more slots at the 75 day mark so my butt will be on this computer at midnight (if I don't get it before then) on that day so I can give it a try.
So... bottom line is dont' freak out. If we don't get to do the Palo thing with the group then we still get to do the Lumiere's Luncheon. And quiet honestly, there's so much to do onboard that the only thing that would bum me out about missing the Palo thing is not hanging with my cruisehomies!

We can try... but quite honestly it's the "grown up boys" that are the most trouble, isn't it? The 15yo and the 13yo ... they usually mind pretty well. It's the 50yo that gives me more trouble than anything.
(shhhhhhh... y'all don't tell KC. The first thing my momma taught me is to let a man feel like a man and that means letting him THINK he's in charge while we actually quietly take care of everything behind the scenes

Thanks for letting me know. I discovered this morning that it was missing from my 4shared account. I put it back out there and updated the link in my signature. Hmmmmm... wonder why it was gone. I sure hope we're not having copyright issues again. Why can't people understand that you can't copyright 3 circles... even if it is suggestive of a certain rodent. Harumph!
