Hi all..my friend just introduced me to this site and since I have been reading everyone's post, I am starting to get really excited for our 1st Disney cruise. I am interested in doing the FE also. Can someone please let me know what I need to do to join in the fun!! Thanxs....

Disney got my money too! This is a busy week for us as I can start booking my pre cruise dining tomorrow and then hopefully palo on Sunday. I am going to be away Saturday night until Sunday what do you think my chances are for getting a ressie for Palo dinner on Thursday evening? I suppose I could always try when we board as that is what we did on our maiden voyageGood luck getting your ressies everyone!

Yeah! Now maybe they'll put out the freakin' FLARES rates for the cruise. Checked with the TA the other day and they're only out through September. They need to hurry up and get these OUT! What's the use of living in this snowbird state if I can't take advantage of stuff like this!

Oh, by the way... the recruiter in Orlando called again yesterday. He has another place he wants to send my resume and wanted to find out if it'd be okay. Ummmm.... yeah!!!!!! This job would be about 30 min north of WDW. Oh boy, wouldn't that just be AWFUL? And I have an interview tomorrow morning here in Tally. Of course, if offered the Tally job I'll take it... but I have to admit I'd prefer the Orlando job (either one of them). I think I'll call the recruiter later on and let him know about the interview tomorrow. Maybe that'll light a fire under his butt! Y'all keep praying for me, please.... it's obviously helping!!!

Hello all!

As we are getting closer to the cruise it is time to get going on some of the great things we have planned!
I am putting together lanyards for everyone who would like to one. These are a great way to meet your fellow disers as well as an awesome way to keep your stateroom key handy!! I love when I recognize a disboard name and am finally able to match it to a face.

I am posting a photo of my "mock-up" so you will get an idea of what they will look like. The lanyard is from a past cruise but since we will be using red, I thought you would like to see it.

Instead of asking everyone to pitch in a few dollars I would rather ask if anyone would like to donate to the project. I need 10 people willing to donate at least $10. (More is always appreciated.!) If enough is donated we will get the lanyard with our Logo "Double Dip Delight".

***I will make a Fish extender for the biggest donor!***

When I have enough to cover the cost of lanyards, badges, card stock, and printing I will post that our "Team" is Full. If any of our team members want to help out I will also be looking for people to help man the table in the terminal handing out lanyards.

Man, Cynthia!!! That looks GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But could you include the latest graphic (it's in my sig and a link to a 10x10 version is also in my sig). The globe in the latest is a bit more spherical. Also, if you need any space under the graphic, I notice you a have the dates there. They're in the graphic but you may want them larger or something by putting it under the graphic too. Just in case you need the space. But boy, does that look great!!!!!

Elderfam, I'm also sending you a PM, I want to help out with the lanyards too. I wish I could volunteer to work at the table, but I have a 2-year-old to wrangle. In fact, I may have to use my lanyard to restrain him.

I was just checking Palo brunch times for Monday and 10:30 was no longer available. I was going to change my 11:30 reservation to 10:30, but no such luck. I guess I should have paid attention to the boards before choosing my time. At the time I made my reservation I was only concerned with brunch not conflicting with the character breakfast. I can't wait to hear how everyone else fairs when you all make your reservations. Good luck!

IIRC, there are a certain # of slots held for each reservation window, i.e., they have so many slots at 10:30 for the 105-day mark, the 90-day mark, and the 75-day mark. So probably what has happened is that the 105-day 10:30 slots are full. You might try again at the 90-day mark or on the ship on embarkation. I know that we were also planning on linking all our Monday Palo brunch ressies (regardless of time) and that Gail was going to try to get the private dining room reserved for us when she is on board the prior week.
