I finished purchasing stuff for our FE gift, now I'll have to have my nieces over to put them together. I unpacked our FE hanger so well from our Panama cruise, that I'm still trying to remember where it is, I hope I find it soon.

The purchasing is so much fun! This is my first time, but I guess you've done it before on your Panama cruise. Can you tell me about your Panama cruise (or post a link if you did a tr)? DH and I are very interested in a Panama cruise.

Actually this is my first time purchasing items for the FE as we were part of a group that gave out magnetic white boards for the Panama cruise.

I didn't do a TR, we loved the Panama cruise and would do it again in a heartbeat. I was worried we'd get bored with all the sea days as it was just the two of us; however, that never happened. It was our most relaxing trip ever. Thanks to Jackie (ibouncetoo) we had a great cabin (secret verandah 7620) and spent alot of time enjoying our verandah.

B. We're packing the tails, but that's for Remy on the 3-night. They want jackets and ties? Well, then there's nothing better than being obnoxiously overdressed.

Hello Sister!

Glad you popped in to get your mojo working! I am also VERY glad you are staying on for the 3 day and I think you will appreciate that solo cabin after the wildness of three generations crammed together.


There is no official Champagne Girls meet, since the organizers (Deb and Mandy) both cancelled this cruise.

As for our DIS MEET....we need to decide where to do that (assuming at about 3PM on embarkation day). Think I should post the question on the main forum to see where other groups have been gathering. Anybody been hearing anything on that topic?

Ohhhh no Champagne girls - maybe we could do a "non" hosted DCL Champagne girls - in other words - would any one be up for just wearing a boa and getting together in the bar and ordering a glass and shooting the ... ? I would-!!!!

Ah, that sent me scurrying off to see what we have!

I forgot they sell them in sets now. I don't have any of the largest size, just the smallest and middle. I think the largest size would be too big for our needs and would not fit well in our suitcases.

Crap - I just hit something weird and my post went *POOF* - anyway gonna try and recreate - I agree Ian that the big ones are a bit too large - unless you pack like Cheri and carry luggage that is big enough for a small child to get into - (I am just teasing)

I'm glad she's staying to play with the grownups.

forgot to mention in my last post that the song that came on while I was posting was Cat Stevens "where do the children play" and I thought that was very ***W HOOOOO WHOOOO* since I had just pulled up the DIS site!

Now that I am back from my last weekend away before this cruise I can turn all my attention to getting excited. I played with my horsey gal pals in the cool mountains of CO and loved every moment of it (well except one but I wont go into that) - any WHO - Jackie (iboucetoo) sent our family a photo of the room that has the bunks and murphy beds and I think we are going to re-arrange some folks for the family portion of the cruise - I was getting a bit scared of having to share my room with my niece who takes FOREVER to get ready - it might drive me bat nuts crazy especially since I'm having to "MANAGE" my emotions/hormones these days - although I will say if I didn't slap my roomie in CO for never keeping her jaws flapping I'll say I'm doing pretty well. She has a big heart but OMFG!!!!!

I will continue to get my b12 Radio active shots (TMI?) and should be good to go. I did really well eating wise while up in CO and dropped more tonage (my knees dont hurt as much) so I got alot more walking in. Every OUNCE is helping... however my desire for PIZZA made me crazy - guess what? YOu can HAVE pizza - on Weight Watchers - so I did. I just didn't eat the entire pie (and I ordered a 12" instead of the normal GIAGANTIC one I would have. I am so proud of myself

Anyway - I am saying a prayer for the family who's MIL is ill -

Big Shout out to Ian for helping me get my door decoration situation straightened out!!! You were so much help Ian! Just need to find one last decoration and I should be good to go!

Really getting into the grove this week and working on my FE gifts. So excited. I have all the adult gifts part 1 made, working on part two next and then figure out the kiddos.

I can hardly think of anything else right now....sooo Disney on the brain!!! Not sure how I am going to get through the next 50 something days without physically being THERE!

Been off for a while...

We MUST do Champagne Girls! Last year's WBTA, we had a blast with about 50 women in a DISer's concierge suite (any high rollers out there?!). Someone just pick a lounge and a time on the sea day and we'll all show up with our boas, tiaras and bottles of champagne...

Leaving Friday for three days in Vancouver, then 5 nights on a Princess coastal cruise, followed by three days at the newly renovated Disneyland hotel. Can't wait to sleep in their new beds where the headboards light up with fireworks! When we get back, only about five weeks or so 'til the Dream.

I was on the Magic for the Panama canal cruise from LA to FL..loved the stops in Cabs, Puerto Vallardo, columbia, etc..loved going thru the canal..

I suppose I made my first purchase for this cruise today, we bought a couple of packages of Starbucks Via at Costco. Though instant, it tastes better than the instant bilge they serve on the ship. It will be a bit cheaper than our 4 cups of coffee each per day at the Cove.
