11/06/05 WHO'S With US on the Wonder?

That's actually ABOVE Scoops. Deck 10 starbord/aft overlooking the Mickey Pool, just above Scoops. We'll have to run down the stairs for our ice cream!

There are also restrooms nearby too!

Under much protest.....I'm going to work now.

Deck 10 overlooking Scoops sounds great to us! 3:00, right?

You guys are starting to make MK sound almost irresistable!!! We hadn't planned on doing any parks this time, but maybe............

Let's all send some pixie dust down to Mexico and Florida so that they weather Wilma safely! :guilty:

Looking forward to meeting everyone,
Jackie

My documents came today. There's a change in how we go to dinner. If you have the early dinner, you will be assigned 5:45pm, 6pm, or 6:15 pm dinner. They are staggering the times people come and go to avoid crowding.

It's the same for the late dinner. We will find our dinner time assignments in our cabins.

Jackie, I even managed to book lunch at the Cinderella Royal Court on Friday for our group, thanks to the informtion on how to do it posted on this site. :cool1:

DiszyGram, :disrocks: Don't it just?
I just talked to DCL and they will take you to ANY Disney resort when you leave the ship to go back to WDW. PICK-UP from WDW is at the land/sea resorts only. I get picked up from POFQ Sunday morning at Noon....so should get there about 1:30 (ish). So those of you who are there early, save me some food! Actually, I wonder what time they stop serving at the buffet.....well, I can always have a mess of ice cream from Scoops for lunch ::yes::

The staggared dining was designed to decrease crowds in the halls and atrium etc. Which ever rotation you have determines the time you have....for example TAAP may have the first 15 min segment, APPT the second and PTTA the third.(I just made those rotations up as an example, don't remember exactly what order the restaurants go in on the rotations).

BTW..... I'm still interested in linking dinner reservations with any of you who have late seating. I'd love to 'know' someone at my table ::yes:: And I love kids, so I'm not looking for adult only dining ;)

CONGRATULATIONS! When you hit 1000 posts, we throw a party ::yes::

My travel agent hasn't received my documents yet, but she did get my Magic Express tags and voucher....however, they were incorrect because ME didn't know about my trip BACK to WDW after the cruise (they had me heading to the airport). So they've been given my POP reservation number and are getting all that straightened out.

Two weeks from right now many of us will be getting very excited/nervous/happy about heading to Florida....some of us will ALREADY be at WDW....you lucky ducks!

Hi Ibouncetoo,

We'd like to link reservations with you, but we have the early seating! If you want to change yours to early, join us! We're not going to be staying up late enough to enjoy dinner that late. We like to get up early and go to bed early, too. I should probably be in bed already, but I'm so excited about the trip, I forget my 5:30 a.m. alarm for work. I won't tomorrow morning, though! :flower:

Thanks for the offer Mary Beth! I've made plans to link with Gutto and his family (or it's in the works anyway). Now I have to try and learn a few words of Portuguese in the next two weeks. ::yes::

Gutto, veja-o em jantar (which I hope means, see you at dinner)! I'm afraid any Portuguese I try to speak will come out with Spanish pronunciation! My travel agent is finding out what info is needed to link our dining. I'll send you a PM as soon as I know.

Now, I'm planning on booking a Palo brunch on sea day when I get on board.....anyone want to join me?

Well, I think I've finally bought everything I need for the cruise.....except some wrinkle remover spay stuff, with I hear works very well.

Still don't have my travel documents yet....unless my TA got them Saturday. I promised myself I won't panic till Wednesday.

Two weeks from right this minute we'll all be dining, or watching "Hercules the Muse-ical" or relaxing on the ship!

Unfortunately, no, only fabric :rotfl:

I just finished going through piles of little pieces of paper with notes, confirmations numbers etc and organized it all. My packing list is pretty scary...what to put in my tote/purse (DOCUMENTS and a book), what to put in my small carry on suitcase (jamies, toiletries and next day outfit) and a huge list of things for my checked bag....that doesn't actually inclde CLOTHING :confused3 I'll put it all together next weekend....and then start removing stuff.

Oh, Gail, my cabin number is 7125.

Hi all I have a dilema I need your help with. We added on an extra night with the 7 day land/sea so that we could make the most of our park time. I received my documents with my DCL luggage tags that state 11/3/05-/11/10/05. I haven't received any DME tags for 11/2/05 and when I asked my TA from DU she said that Disney knows we are coming early and not to worry about it. I am afraid they are going to lose our bags. We are taking on board 3 bags and checking only 1 (I think - I haven't completely finished packing yet). But I am still afraid it will get lost. What do I do? Thanks Judith

Hi Judith, I would take your travel agent's advice, and don't worry about it. :) This is a trip to look forward to with excitement and happiness. Don't let a worry about something that may, and probably won't happen, spoil your anticipation of a great vacation. :flower:

I have one little thing I do with my packing that I want to share. I go out and buy new underwear. Then I go through my drawers at home and pick out the underwear in the worst shape. Those are the ones I take with me, and throw out after I've worn them.

It doesn't give you much more room in your suitcase when you come home, but it makes the contents seem "fresher" if your suitcase is searched on the way back. :teeth:

Judith, I've read that some people, when they arrive at MCO, insist on collecting their own checked luggage and personally taking it on the DME bus. So if you don't have any (regardless of date printed) ME tags, I believe you can do this. What's important, is that DME knows to pick YOU up. If your travel agent has given them your revised schedule you should be fine. BUT, if you want to make sure, call your resort for that first night and have them connect you (or give you the number to call) for ME and speak with them directly.

It's official, Blue Lagoon Beach Day and Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter will be cancelled for our Nov. 6th sailing! The CM said not to cancel it on the web site because they are trying to make other arrangements for those of us who have booked those excursions already! We will be receiving phone calls...or so she says!

Judith, bless your heart. You're already packing! Instead of doing what we should be doing (PACKING!), we're goofing around making a magnetic door sign for our cabin. If I could figure out how to get a sign (done in Word) posted on this site, I'd share it with everyone.

We've had such a good time looking forward to this trip. Can't wait until next Friday, when we board the Autotrain to FL! :sunny:

Was there damage to the Dolphin encounter area from the hurricane? It's too bad it was cancelled.

Apparently Blue Lagoon Island is in need of repair(not due to the hurricane)and refurbishment. I think Disney has dropped the excursion because they don't like to promote and endorse anything that is less than their standards! On the phone, the CM said they(Dolphin Encounter) are not going to be up and running. Yet many have called the place directly...and they are accepting reservations through January!
