:rotfl: One suitcase? for how many people? there is 4 of us :earsboy: :earsgirl: princess: pirate: , Im trying to keep it to 6 suitcases :rotfl2: hahaha...We live on the west coast, whats going on with the weather? :confused3 I try not to watch the news, too depressing

Well, there are only 2 of us, but still!! (Dress clothes, swim clothes, casual clothes, pirate clothes, SHOES, etc., etc., etc.)

As for the weather, another hurricane (Wilma) is terrorizing the Caribbean across the area where our ship is scheduled to be cruising, and they're guesstimating it might also hit FL. :worried: If anyone has a :genie: handy, a wish for good weather is in order for us as well as anyone sailing soon! Here's hoping it misses everyone! :duck:

I am alone with DS11 and would love to link but I would prefer early seating. I have late now but was going to request a change as soon as I boarded.

*Disclaimer* I intend to try a 'drink of the day' everyday. Not being a seasoned drinker and being of small size I can not promise completely coherent speech at all times :rotfl: :drinking1

Suzanne, I have the late seating also, but wouldn't mind if we were switched or not to the early. Shall we try?

Oh, BTW, I want to have a drink of the day everyday also!!! :teeth:

ONE SUITCASE??? I need one just to bring back my souveniers!!!

Suzanne,
Love your disclaimer!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2:

I am looking forward to ALL the ports of call, since I have never been to any of them before.

As far as luggage goes- we have it down to 6 checked pieces. :earsgirl: :earsboy: pirate: :earboy2:

I think they will be coming ups from what I here. As for suitcases there are four of us DH, me, and 2 DS's I am trying to keep it to 3 large and 1 medium size and 2 carry on's.

Deal! Let's link 'em!

. ....... ummm I don't actually know how to do that. :confused3

Got our docs yesterday. My TA actually received them on Monday and we picked them up yesterday. Now we are doing the "docs" dance.. Yippee!!

I always watch the weather channel this hurricane is making me so nervous. It looks like she's heading right towards Florida..

Hope everyone stays safe!!

My family will be cruising on the Magic Nov 5th on the Western itinerary. We are soooo excited. We have two daughters 11 & 8. They would love to hear from other kids who have been on the crusie. We'd love to meet up with anyone and get the low-down.
Beth :earboy2:

Have to start this week to shop and pack... It will be a busy weekend for me & my DD to pack while DH & DS are busy prepraring for my son's 2nd stripe brown belt testing.

:thewave: Welcome Beth,
Just wanted to say hi, and let you know I have an eleven year old daughter, too. She loves swimming, reading, and fashion. She will be happy to know there is another girl her age going - There seem to be a lot of 11 and 12 year old boys. I also have a 9 year old son who is a soccer nut, and swims. He loves all sports. Claire

:sad2: no documents - still! I want the UPS man to come to my house with a box! Still haven't started packing, either. This weekend I had better get moving! Claire

I have a DD(8). We've been on cruises before, but this is our first on DCL. My DD is very social, so I'm sure she'll meet your DD's in the club! :)

How cruel is this? UPS came to my hose twice today. Once was a package for DH, one was a book for DS. I want my documents!

Beth and jencav5, I have an 8 y/o DD too.

So it seems that Wilma has touched all our ports of call.....think there will be any changes to our cruise???

:confused3 We'll probably have to wait and see what kind of damage Wilma has done once she's gone. I feel bad for the Magic Cruisers leaving on Saturday ... wonder where they'll end up. Although I'm really hoping that Wilma doesn't cause any changes to our itinerary ... this will be my 3rd Disney Cruise and all of them have been the Western because of work conflicts. Given what I've seen about the 2007 rates, this will probably be our LAST Disney Cruise ... and I wouldn't complain if I finally got to see St. Thomas and St. Martin ;)

:crazy2: I am so looking forward to the Western route! I have been thinking of shopping in Cozumel for weeks! Hoping that Wilma doesn't hit too hard!
Claire

all right scouter!!!!! can your ups guy talk to my ups guy?!

Wilma aftermath is becoming a concern....

I too have been looking forward to all the western ports of call. Especially shopping in Cozumel Claire! :goodvibes

OK, are annb65 and I the only ones who haven't received our docs yet?

Both DS and DD have had to do reports on Wilma for school. I'm using it as an education of all the places we are supposed to go in 2 weeks. Keeping our fingers crossed.
