We had a trip planned for this summer to do 4 nights (3 parks days) in Disney, a 5 night cruise on the Fantasy, and then 2 more nights back in Disney. Well our school released the calendar for next year and the same day we were supposed to leave is also now their first day of school
. They're going into Kindergarten and 2nd Grade, and while my husband said we should keep our plans, I just felt so bad for them having to start a new school year after the first week and a half with all the other kids already getting to know each other.
So due to pricing and schedules, our only other option was to switch to a 3 night cruise on the Wish. I'm super bummed it's going to be so short and now we're doing 4 nights in Disney, 3 nights on the cruise, and 1 night in Disney. We're not planning to get off at Nassau, only Castaway though. (At the end of the day I'll still take 3 nights over no nights!)
I'm excited to try the new ship (we've done the Dream and I know the Fantasy is a copy of that), but any other perspectives of people that have done 3 night cruises and still had a great time??
