No docs for us either... still waiting...

I am hoping the itinerary won't change due to Wilma. This is our 1st Disney cruise and we want to see all the ports! I hope Wilma doesn't cause too much damage anywhere, cruise or no cruise.

Hey, Nala11...I'm scheduled for the 12/03 Western on the Magic. Would you be so kind as to post whatever itinerary Disney uses for your trip after Wilma in order to give me a better idea of what we may be doing? It would be kind of nice to have a little "heads up". This is our 1st cruise too so I'm right there with you worrying about what's going to happen!

I still have not yet received my docs. Now, I'm worried about a change in itinerary. What will you do if our cruise gets changed to an Eastern? Any ideas about excursions?

Also, I was just on the DCL website, and it looks like our cruise is now sold out. I guess we won't be getting an upgrade at check-in.

We have also been considering the possibility of a change in itinerary. As for us, I thank the Lord we have to opportunity to still go on the cruise and pray for those in its path.

I've just adopted the attitude that it'll be an adventure wherever we go and plan to enjoy whatever is available for us to do, even if that means staying on the ship and going around in circles! I did look at the Eastern ports just to get some idea of the potential stops if we go that way. As long as we're cruising, we party on, dudes.

Still no docs for me! I'm going nuts. Today I went to the puzzlemaker at discoveryschool.com and made up a bunch of word puzzles, crosswords, and scrambled word puzzles about Disney cruise, disney characters, "Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum" - pirates, and caribbean sea life, to occupy the kids in the car. I have gotten some cheap stuff (yeh! Dollar Tree) like pirate kits, journals, candy, etc. for "prizes" on the way down. I want to buy the new disney dance CD, too, cause it sounds like a lot of music we might hear on the ship. I have also typed up a packing list for everyone in Excel, with a check off column for packed, and returned. I went out and bought some bonine, too, and am hoping that none of us need it! I hope that itinerary stays the same! Claire argh!

Hey guys...keep an eye on the disney website. This week's Western sailing has been diverted to an Eastern itinerary....St. Maarten, St. Thomas and, of course, Castaway Cay.

Those of us sailing later will also be keeping a watchful eye!

If you go to weather dot com and click on Hurricane Central, you will get a map of Wilma's current location. To the right of the map is a drop-down menu called View More: If you go down in the menu, you will see Tropical Atlantic Satellite as a choice. Click on this and you will get a map of that part of the ocean, which you can enlarge and set in motion. Unfortunately, it's not very reassuring.

I guess we'll just have to go with the flow....

We got a hold of our TA - apparently our docs were sent to the agency yesterday via UPS. They will be on our way to us next week. Don't know why the delay, but our TA did say that they are switching to a new doc system and there are more errors and delays than usual. Those of you who haven't heard might want to give your TA (or Disney) a call just to check... I know I feel better knowing where they are!

It seems like Wilma will be long gone by the time we sail, and I'm just hoping the ports aren't damaged. Regardless, I am just happy to be going. Thanks for posting the cruise website so we can check status.

I saw the news this morning and Cozumel was hit very hard, who knows if they will be open for cruise passengers or not. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Ok, let's play a game (trying to calm the butterflies in my stomach). Where do you think we'll be going on our cruise?

I'm hoping for a modified Western, with ?Costa Maya substituted for Cozumel. What are your thoughts?

Did Key West get hit?

My DS and I really wanted to do our excursion at Cozumel,
swimming with the dolphins.
I don't want to play the game : "where do you think we'll
be going on our cruise"

But I know that if my excursions are cancelled I'll be saving a lot
of money....not that I cannot find other ways to spend it on the
ship. Spa treatments, drinks of the day, souvenirs, Bingo,, etc.

No matter what, or where we go, I'll still be glad to be on vacation
no chores, work, worries from home and I'll be having fun meeting
my new DIS friends!

I`m thinking it may be the Eastern we end up doing. I don`t mind I`ll go anywhere, but pleeese no Nassau!
