This will be my second trip to disneyworld. First time around I wish I had known about bodyglide. May have saved many blisters on my feet!!

What couldn't you do without?

Power strip so we are easily able to charge devices. Spare phone battery so we don't need to worry about charging in parks. Gold Bond Powder, or similar for preventing chafing.

Gloves!! We go in December and sometimes they are hard to find. I can wear them with a light jacket and be all toasty.

Ponchos from the Dollar Store. Single use. They take up nearly no room and are perfect for a quick afternoon shower. Toss them in the trash when the rain is over. 2 for $1

Roll of quarters, 1/2 roll of pennies and a list if penny press machines in a small ziplock Baggie. (Extra quarters if you plan to do laundry)

I'm stuck in a scooter after an accident a few years ago. I bring a bike bell, little squeaky horn and a few decorations for the scooter. I also bring mini light sticks from the Dollar Store to make bracelets for the kiddies while we wait in line. I'm stuck in the scooter. I HATE it. I might as well have some fun. Kids love it. Hubby calls me the Pied Piper.

Snacks, snacks, snacks, snacks, and snacks. Enough for the entire week. Otherwise, I spend 3 times the money going down to the hotel store buying snacks.

Advil, Tylenol, etc. as we always seem to need it and it is expensive at Disney.

Scissors....for unwrapping new toys.

Corkscrew for wine in the room.

Ponchos.

Great suggestion. Every year I forget about the allure of the penny press machines and find myself with no change and 2 kids who love pressed pennies.

ponchos
gallon ziplocks to keep stuff dry
camera
lots of water
backpack to carry it all
kids

Powers strip for use with 6 sockets. Means we only need 1 plug converter. Though we usually bring a second just in case :)

Was a great tip here before on this. Use a smarties tube and insert coins in correct order for the penny press machine, i.e., 2 quarters, a penny, repeat

My single strap backpack :) I have 2x teens so I debated on taking a small bag to the parks tho ultimately my trail walking backpack won which everyone in my party was thankful for at some point. We had many things on hand ALSO it stored souvenirs & snacks we acquired while at the parks. With the cross body single strap I easily twisted it to where the "bag" of it was on the front of my body making it comfortable for rides keeping everything from being crushed. There are many things on our packing list yet this is the one I almost went w/o tho found it was much appreciated!!

A shoe organizer. I hang it in the closet and put all of the little stuff in there that would normally clutter the counter.

Oh, yeah, also a large trash bag and four clothespins - kept in the pocket of my stroller. Used to cover stroller during rainstorms.

I do this, too. Both myself and the kids love collecting the pressed pennies. :) If you drive, having spare change/dollars for the toll roads before Disney is a must, too. Also with kids, something to tie on the stroller so you can easily identify it in the sea of strollers. :)

I am so glad you started this list! We leave in 9 days and I am making my "do not forget" lists and this will help! :)

1. Glow stick bracelets for the kids. $1.50 and the kids can use them on dark rides Orin night time parades

2. My cross body camera strap for my DSLR

3. Conditioner , for some reason the change in water turns my hair to straw, so I bring conditioner with me.

4. Grocery service to deliver water, kids snacks.

5. Ziplock bags in the backpack for devices as we go on water rides or it crazy rains.

6. Sunblock..

7. Band aids, Advil for kids and adults, eye drops, cough and cold and allergy stuff all in one bag, just in case.

8. Favourite sleep friend for the kiddos, 1000 miles from home and we don't have Sheriff woody, we are in trouble.

9. Winter trips- hats mitts and scarves and light jackets. It does get chilly

10. Journals for the kids to record their memories through the week.

Well, thanks to all of you and your notes/suggestions I am hoping I don't forget anything, but the best thing would be the bodyglide/blister prevention stick! Nothing worse then having blisters after the first day and knowing you have more days ahead and no bandaids don't stay in place, they seem to have a thing working against me...lol

:)

There are some really ace ideas on here. Got caught out with the children's medicines last time! I will def be referring back to this before packing.

I have also decided to buy 50 disney trading pins before going. Only $20 on ebay. Will keep the small people happy and save me a small fortune!

I always bring extra deodorant into the parks with me, especially on warmer days, because you just never know. Also, a portable phone charger (got mine for $30 at Target). And baby wipes.

To those with little ones don't forget a stroller cover!!! It managed to rain a lot on our last visit to the World. Don't know what I would have done without it.

My hand sanitizer. I know it can be a false sense of security--nothing beats soap and water--- but I think it helps. I use it not only for our hands for also to wipe down tables.

My other must haves are sunscreen and sunglasses (we bring our cheap ones after losing our good ones several trips ago).

Extra quart size and gallon size Ziplocs to protect our phones, cameras, and wallets, should we get caught in a rain storm and they're not protected on the water rides.
