$100 Gift Card with DVC Presentation

DSis and I just returned from DLR. It was my first visit there and I really enjoyed myself.

We stayed at GCH, and while my sister was sitting in the lobby one morning she was approached by the DVC rep stationed there. He offered her a $100 gift card to sit through a 1-hour DVC presentation. She went ahead and signed up then met me for lunch to ask if I was interested in going. We were there 5 full days, so it wouldn't make a significant dent in our schedule.

We went, sat through the presentation, and one hour later we were each given a $50 gift card since we're sisters.

I don't know if everyone will be given this offer, but we were and put the cards to good use.

Maybe this is just me, but I think he still should have given you the $100. Maybe your sister should have gotten the $50, but he promised you $100 GC for attending, and you fulfilled your end of the bargain.

No, you got it backwards. If you re-read my OP you'll see it was my DSis who was approached by the DVC rep and she talked to me about going to the presentation when we met for lunch. The deal was $100 for the two of us to sit through the presentation, so neither of us have any complaints. I was actually happy to have two $50 cards given to us; it was worth an hour of my time.
