10 Year Ban

So not only did I get in trouble but now my family is guilty by association. Fun Times!

VMK needs to check into things before banning or sending warnings. I got a warning while in a trade screen for giving out personal information. I guess explaining the difference between beta, retired ans rare is too personal. BEWARE! NEVER SPEAK! lol

Maybe they saw that you were entering codes quickly, and then detected another program (vmk pal) but not what extra program it was, and just assumed you were using the outside program to input codes?

It's kind of dumb anyway. Who cares how you put in the codes as long as you aren't stealing them or making them up somehow. I guess maybe doing things too quickly could flood the system...

If you go to the contact page on vmk, you can find out why you were banned. Click on the "I think I've been banned" It will either say something like giving to much personal information, being disruptive, attempt scamming/scamming something like that.

Your conduct is inappropriate for VMK. Because our previous actions have not caused a change in your in-game conduct, we have no choice but to permanently ban you/your account from VMK.

However they did cause a change in my in-game conduct and I did not use any outside tool to enter codes. So it's just another email to the black hole I guess.

Hmm that doesn't really tell a whole lot, especially since its a life sentence. Have you been previously banned? and what for?

Just what I stated earlier, got a warning for using shortkeys. Quite using it and started entering by hand. However I have used VMKPal the whole time and am wondering if that has something to do with it.

I received a 24 hour ban about 45 minutes after that first warning and thought it was due to typing in codes to quickly, but am really quite confused.

This is a real shame. How on earth can they tell if it's an outside program or if it's just someone who types really fast?
There is no way that they can detect what programs are running on your computer unless you allow them to. Or they are hacking into your system.
It makes no sense to me.

I hope that you can get this mess cleared up and get back into vmk soon.

Well I'm right along with yea, I just got the royal vmk moon boot for a whole month, Arg!! 10yrs makes a Month look like a piece of cake, but its still going to stink!!
