$10 Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue Blu-ray coupon now live

Although at our local TRU they don't know anything about it yet since the sale is not active yet the sales paper that is dated to start on the 20th shows that you recieve a free Tinkerbell watch in a dome case valued $9.99 when you buy the DVD combo.

If you pick up Tink before 9/25 they are giving away a free Tink bell watch in dome with movie purchase.

Is this at TRU? That would be awesome! I know DMR is giving away Tink Charms when you purchase the movie, just enter your code and you will get the option to get a charm with only paying shipping and handling, which I think I read somewhere that its $2.something.

Oh that totally stinks.. especially the kids' DVDs, who does that??! :scared1:

A friend of mine told me a while ago that her sister's house was broken into and they took the kids TV's, VCR/DVD players, movies, wii and games :( Obviously that isn't all they took but that was what upset her sister the most - that they stole from her kids.

You are right, which I am still considering doing so I can pick up copies for my MIL but here is a scenario with just buying one of each.

First Transaction (anytime before Sept 20th):
$10 Tinker Bell preorder

Second Transaction (when Tinker bell is released Sept 21):
$25 Tinker Bell
$5 Beauty and the Beast preorder
-10 disney coupon http://www.disneymovierewards.go....ptw-coupon
-10 Tinker Bell deposit
-10 preorder discount
--------------------------------
=0 plus get a $10 giftcard for Tinker Bell preorder

Third Trans (when Beauty and the Beast is released on Oct 5):
25 Beauty and the Beast
$5 preorder Toy Story
-10 disney coupon (already available from DMR--see separate thread)
-10 preorder discount
-5 Beauty and Beast deposit
------------------------------------------
=$5

Fourth Transacation (when Toy Story 3 is released on Nov 2)::
$25 Toy Story
-10 disney coupon (will release the same week as the movie)
-5 Toy Story deposit
----------------------------------
=$10 apply giftcard from Second Trans =0

so $10 + 0 + $5 + 0 = $15 for all 3 movies

And of course this is all contingent on the movies being on sale for the $25 price but still a pretty sweet deal if they are sold at $30 instead.

kalliyan-I went to TRU today to preorder my TB but I didn't look at the preorders for BATB or TS3. I will be interested to see if mine takes it off the day of. So far, I haven't read anything on the other forums I visit that mention this being a problem getting the $10 the day of preorder purchase.

Thanks, this is the formula I would need to use. The other one confused me, as well, with the two TS's LOL So here is my ? ..... I am assuming you need to do all these on different days or can you preorder them all at once and then just apply the formula when you pick them up?

sorry mine confuses you (confuses me too! LOL) but I wanted to make sure you knew, mmkk's may be wrong. She may have to pay $10 for the first order. The standard way of doing it is the GC is added onto the order and then negated by your $10 deposit. They do this so you 'lose' the $10 (because they can't reclaim the GC) if you return the movie.

So your order looks like this when you pick up the movie:

$25 Tink movie
- $10 pre-order
+ $10 GC
- $10 IP coupon
+ $5 Beauty pre-order
- $10 Beauty movie promo discount
= $10 plus tax plus you get the $10 GC

plus supposedly you get a watch as well(?) so that would be on the receipt as $0

I'm waiting until other people go get theirs on Tuesday morning and report on the success of the various scenarios before I go get mine just so I know what to expect. But I'm expecting the scenario I outlined and I'll be thrilled if it's the one mmkk has listed.

Hmmm....So that means instead of $15 in the end you would have paid $25 (for all 3)? Still not bad if that's true. Actually they all confuse me LOL I had to pull up stickies on my computer and type it out step by step

Me, too! Confused that is.

Also, when I check the Toy R Us website, Tink is coming in at $29.99 for BR/DVD Combo pack.

The formula listed above shows it at $25 which is not correct (unless TRUs lowers the price when it actually comes out).

Yes, its at TRU.

yes. By pre-ordering you are getting $5 additional off your order after paying $5 for the pre-order and then receiving $10 off the other movie...so a net $5 gain.

Do I get this $5 off by using the "TRU $5 Off Any Purchase Of $25 Or More" coupon or some other way? I put a deposit down yesterday (I am going back the 20th to try to fix it and get my Tink watch), but my local TRU store wasn't familiar with my manufacturer's coupon.

no by pre-ordering Toy Story 3. There should be pre-order cards for Beauty and Toy Story just like there was for Tinkerbell. On those cards they tell you what their promo deal is, and it's $10 off another movie $19.99 or higher when you put the deposit down.

HTH!

I got a message that I had already printed it the allowable number of times. I haven't printed it once!!!!

Any ideas?

Ok, I clicked on that link and it still won't let me print the coupon. It wants me to download a coupon printer and my computer won't let me do it.:sad2:

I am having the same issue. I think I remember this from last time I tried to print a coupon for the Toy Story 1 and 2 pack. Please post if you figure it out and I will too. I know I finally got it to work but don't remember how!

Do you have a different computer you can try? Maybe try and clear cookies

so do I pre-order TS3 when I pick up Tink? so pre-order both TS3 and B&B at that time? sorry- it's a little confusing

Like mmkk earlier in this post, I am cutting and pasting this from the Slick Deals forum, so credit goes to posters on that forum:
The $10 Disney coupons are generally released the same week as the new release

so $10 + 0 + $5 + 0=$15 for all 3 movies

This process is entirely new to me, I have never pre-ordered a movie from TRU, until now , and I have never stacked a deal at TRU either. As I said earlier, my local TRU store was completely unfamilar with the Disney IP coupon, and I am trying to figure it out (hopefully one day I can help somebody else down the line), so please bear with me.

This is where I am confused: TRU lists TB, BatB and TS3 as having a $29.99 selling price, not $25.

Additionally, why does the deposit amount drop down to $5 when the deal is stacked, as opposed to being like the first deposit of $10 for TB?

I would think the deal would read more like this:

The $10 Disney coupons are generally released the same week as the new release

First Transaction (anytime before Sept 20th):
$10 Tinker Bell preorder

Second Transaction (when Tinker bell is released Sept 21):
$30 Tinker Bell
$10 Beauty and the Beast preorder
-10 disney coupon http://www.disneymovierewards.go....ptw-coupon
-10 Tinker Bell deposit
---------------------------------
=$20 + $10 giftcard back from Tinker Bell preorder

Third Trans (when Beauty and the Beast is released on Oct 5):
$30 Beauty and the Beast
$10 Toy Story preorder
-10 disney coupon (already available from DMR--see separate thread)
-10 Beauty and Beast deposit

=$10 + $10 giftcard back from Beauty and the Beast preorder

so $10 + $20 + $10 + $0 =$40 for all 3 movies + $10 giftcard back from Beauty and the Beast preorder that maybe can be stacked onto the next Disney release

Where am I going wrong with this? Either way, it's still a great deal - I mean, afterall it is $30 for three Blu-Rays and Disneys at that!

I have no idea what the selling price will be for the movies, just speculating. So $29.99 is probably correct, although they won't be competitive with the other stores...I don't have any ads in front of me and I'm not buying the paper to find out so I'll go with your $29.99. ;)

And Tink requires a $10 deposit because you are getting a $10 GC. The other 2 movies just require a $5 deposit. I have no idea why but they do, I have the cards here at home and it's $5 down. It's normally only $5 down but the Tink deal is different due to the GC. That's real money for TRU instead of just a promo coupon like the others.

So the card is like a $10 off coupon? Do they give you the card when you put the deposit down or do you have to locate it somewhere in the store? And then you bring it with you when you pick up the NEXT movie right?
