It is quite a rush!! We love Magical Express. I am excited for the family (the whole family) to experience it.

Hopefully Owen let's me have a few minutes here today to go on and read some of your report. I saw an update came through and I read them on my blackberry but for some reason I can't comment on it. As my hubby says "I am just not Tech Savy!!" lol

MICKEY BARS!!!!!

It is not surprising that Mickey Bars made the top 25 list! In fact at one point is was number one on the list and as other ideas were mentioned it made it's way down the list. But let me tell you these boys LOVE Mickey Bars and are very excited to have one in Disney!!!!

Hey Twin!! Thanks for stopping in!! I know- wouldnt that be the BEST job ever!? Although I think I would be so jealous of the people taking the trips while I was doing all the work! I did just apply to be on the Disney Mom's Panel! That would be so incredible if I was chosen! I think I have 1 in 20,000 or something so I am not holding my breath!

I have Owen on a wait list, hopefully he will get in sometime in October. Which works out good, because that is when I hope to be working.

The South Quarter Games Arcade at Port Orleans French Quarter!

The kids just LOVE this Arcade!! Mommy loves it too because usually Daddy takes the boys and I have a little "Me" time by the pool.

NOT THE SAME!!! Nothing beats the Mickey bars!! Dove Bars are so good!!! Can you tell yesterday I started my diet and then thought about ice cream all day!

Keeping notes for when we are able to go, because we have NEVER stayed on property, and that bus/farewell seems sweet and memorable -something our girls would enjoy.

Nickie-I am so loving your countdown! The boys love the arcades too-I was glad to have my dad with last time, because they were in their element. Unfortunately, my "me" time involved going and getting something from the bakery at the food court...

I know you all have been anxiously awaiting Number 22 on The Kids Top 25 List!!!! But first I wanted to mention a couple things I am very excited about!!! Did you all hear that the Block Party Bash is ending 1/1? The new Parade at DHS will be starting Jan 16th so we will be one of the first ones to view it! I am pretty excited and had to change our plans slightly to stay at DHS longer that day. I heard that they will keep the Monster's Inc and Bugs life floats but also add in three new ones and include characters Remy, Emile and Carl and Russell. So that is pretty cool!!

Ok so the name of this trip report is "10 months to go and 60 pounds to loose" and I am now down to 4 months to go and 40 pounds to loose. I don't think it will happen but I will be pretty excited if I can loose another 20 before the trip and I am starting to get my motivation back. I don't know how but I am not even going to question it. I am just going to go with it. I am even going to run today even though it is my off day! Crazy huh!!??

Ok, so now onto the Kids Top 25 List!!

Number 22 is FAMILY DINNERS​

( I swear they came up with this themselves!) My boys are just so sweet!!! well, sometimes!

Being the crazy planner that I am, I have talked and talked and talked about our plans and the kids know where we will be on this trip and with who at all times! When I asked them to name the Top 25 things they were so excited for they kept saying "Whispering Canyon" or "Chef Mickeys" so I thought I would lump them all together under one number or the list would have been only dinner places and characters !!

Because this trip is a Grand Gathering we had to make dinner reservations for 14 people! I think we have some pretty cool places lined up and we are all so excited to have the family all together. Remember we are coming from Chicago, Boston and Sarasota and are a VERY close italian family that doesn't see eachother enough so this is going to be a really special trip!!

The day we arrive we are sticking to a 3 years in a row tradition of eating dinner @ Chef Mickey's!

I already have the boys outfits picked out!!! This dinner I think is the one we are all looking forward to the most! My niece Stephanie, LOVES Goofy! She loves him so much and has since she was a kid. She has Goofy's in her car and was actually proposed to by Goofy when we took our first "Nightmare" GrandGathering 6 years ago!

The next day(Saturday) we will be heading to Epcot and will have dinner all together in a private room at Teppan Edo! The boys are so excited to eat from the monorail dishes. (I hope they still do that)

The next day (Sunday) we have an early ADR at the Crystal Palace!!!! We didnt get to go last year because of a refurb and had a great breakfast with Jeff and Shannon at LTT but we are VERY excited to get back to the CP!

The Magic Kingdom is open until 11PM and we plan on spending the whole day there and taking the boat after the 3:00 parade over to the Wildreness Lodge for dinner at Whispering Canyon. We had a late lunch here on the last day of our trip last year and BY FAR it was one of my most favorite memories of all of our trips to Disney. Totally did not expect to have had the experience we did. My kids LOVED it!!!!!!!!! Our waiter Raphael was HYSTERICAL. People at other tables actually came over to thank us because they enjoyed watching our children so much. They were laughing so hard the entire meal and had the best time. It was great. The food was fine... it wasn't the best we had but it wasnt the worst either but it was the entertainment and watching my kids that made this one of the best meals we have had! I am very excited to share this place with the whole family and I hope we have a great experience again!!!!

Monday is Auntie Carrie's Birthday!!! We are going to Animal Kingdom and plan to head back to the resort after the parade. We will change and take the boat to DTD for dinner at Raglan Road and then do some shopping!!!!! Maybe some birthday ice cream at Ghiardellis. Do you know all the times we have been to DTD and have NEVER had Ghiardellis!!! I think this may be the time we finally try it!

Tuesday is their last day. (We stay on for another 3 days alone) We will head to DHS and have our last meal together at lunch at Sc-Fi. We loved this last year!!! The kids are going to be pretty sad but we have a special night planned that I think will make them happy..... Dinner at the Wave and then Campfire back at the hotel with S'mores!!

Well that is it for our family dinners!! Next up - #21!!!!!!!!!!!

MOTIVATION!!! Go with it You can do it!!

Have you eaten at Raglan Road before? We did on a whim in June. We had really good food, and the restaurant was neat. I would suggest trying to be seated in the main dining area, if possible. We were in a side room, and every 30 minutes music would start and we'd hear all this cheering and yelling. I think what was happening was that the bartender or a server would get up on the bar and irish dance. We felt kind of "out of it" where we were seated!

BUT-Super good food-I would def go again!!!
