10 months to go and 60 pounds to loose.Update 1/2/11 Page 38

Love the final plans! Can't wait to read your TR. When you get ack it will be about time for me to start plaaing our 2012 trip. lol

WOW $800 That is something to write home about!!!!! I guess you can write it here too though. :goodvibes

That is so awesome!!! :woohoo::woohoo:
:rotfl: Yes I think I did just write it hee hee! Actually I called today and changed from "River View" to "Standard" and saved another $300!!

That's great news!!!

Thank you!!! I was just saying to Tim that I actually ended up saving $1100!!!

Your Mary Poppins night sounds so cool! You are very creative! :goodvibes

awww- thank you so much!! These nights take lot's of prep work- if I have to go back to work full time, we may need to move these to Saturday Nights!

Loved your Mary Poppins themed night. You're so creative.

Plans sound great and the idea to send each family the planning folder is a fabulous idea.

If you don't do Rose and Crown you might think about the new Mexican place. I believe it is set up for Illumination viewing too.

Thanks!! Yes I am thinking about that one! I keep trying to call and they havent started letting people reserve it yet so I think Rose and Crown is the back up plan!

Love the goodies for the airplane bags and I also enjoyed your Disney Night. Sounds like you are having fun putting the plans together. :goodvibes

I hope the new job works out so that I can see you in Oct. 2011. How are you doing with the running? I have been slowly creeping along. I don't have the time during the week now that I'm coaching and school is back in session. I keep moving up though. I registered to run my first 5k on Oct. 23. We have a local event that I'm going to try. My main goal is to run the whole thing without walking.

Your new plan looks good to me. I'd like to try out the new restaurants. I'm considering foregoing the DDP in October and trying out Tables in Wonderland. I have to pay adult prices for Lindsey now and she just doesn't eat that much. It makes sense to try TIW at least once and compare the expenses. :goodvibes

Hope you hear good news from the interview. I've got my fingers crossed for ya!

Thanks Leanne!! The job interview went well but havent heard anything yet!? We will see!! I know, it would be so great to see you guys. I think if I do get a full time job then October Disney trip (maybe even just a long weekend) is in my future. Wayne will be taking a golf trip so this may be my Girls trip!

Running has been not so great- I am letting myself have a break from diets and running. I start in full swing Sept 1st..... Kids are going back to school and Mommy is going back to being healthy!

TIW sounds really cool- I have wondered about that myself. Let me know what you think about it!!

Love the final plans! Can't wait to read your TR. When you get ack it will be about time for me to start plaaing our 2012 trip. lol

Hey!! Welcome back!!!! Duncan is ADORABLE! OMG- So cute. I love your pictures on FB!!! How is Madeline doing?? Do I see a ticker with an upcoming trip!!!??? Are you doing a PTR??

So I recently found a REALLY COOL trip report with lot's of great information!! I was so surprised to find out that it was Stephanie's (Charlefours) I have been talking with her on FB and on the DIS through other reports, and just didnt realize she had her own trip report!!! Well anywho, she recently posted a question about what your favorite picture was of Disney and also your favorite character interaction and I am going to steal her idea- because I LOVE it!! I posted the info below on her page and it got me so excited about Disney so I hope to do the same for you!! Please post pics or if you dont have them, just tell me about your favorite picture in Disney and the best character interaction you have experienced.

My very favorite picture was taken of Myles on his first trip. He had just had his "first haircut" on main street and we got a shot of him crawling towards the castle.

We LOVE meeting the characters! Luckily my boys have never been afraid. Owen actually loves them too much!! Whenever he sees them he runs up and hugs them and kisses them all. It's too cute.

Here is his reaction to Pluto at Chef Mickeys. Besides Mickey, Pluto is his favorite and this was their first meeting.

IMG_1757.jpg

So for favorite Character Interaction I think my favorites have been Pluto at Chef Mickeys (posted reaction above)

And......

Mary Poppins at 1900 Park Fare (Owen was in love with her! :lovestruc and she was just so beautiful.... she was totally in character)
lookatowensface.jpg

Mickey at Ohana, - he selected Myles to walk with him in the parade, and he had his arm around him the entire parade. I didnt even get a good picture because it was our last day and I was already sad about leaving- this just put me over the edge.... I was crying... yes I am that fool!
IMG_4485.jpg

And Stitch - We saw him at Epcot right at the entrance and I clicked the camera real quick to get Owen in action. Stich was so funny and ran over to Owen's carriage and grabbed his blanket and tied it around his neck like a cape. Myles said that was from the movie!? It was really cute!!

Hey there! Sorry to have been MIA!! Summer sucks computer time right out of me!!

Your update looks great-I am so glad you were able to get FD and save all that moohlah..:thumbsup2

I could probably do the weekend 5k in Oct, if that ends up happening.. I have been really bad about running too, so I feel your guilt! I am going to join the Y, so I have somewhere to run once the weather turns-plus I can swim laps on the off days (this, of course, is in my perfect world, where I am not laaaazy!)

Have a great week and keep us posted on the job search!

Hope you hear good news soon! All those pics were so great. I remember them from your past reports.

Those all all great pics!!!!!! You really captured some great moments there. The Myles crawling one is just too cute! :goodvibes

I, too, enjoyed that in Stephanie's PTR...but, I am so MIA in the threads I am following I still need to catch up on her and WEndy's :confused3 I keep up with them on FB and think that is why I keep catching up with everyone else...:confused3

love the photo recaps makes me want to go back and find all my fav character shots...

Well anywho, she recently posted a question about what your favorite picture was of

On our very first trip, Sarah was 22 months. She was petrified of every character we saw, and wouldn't go near them. For some reason, though, the day we were at MGM, she saw Minnie from a distance and wanted out of the stroller. When we got close enough I let her out and she took off running. Minnie got down on her knees and caught Sarah in a hug. It was the most precious thing!

Hi- I have been following you for a while now and finally saying hi- I got hooked with your last TR. :thumbsup2

We have some things in common...I'm a Boston girl too! Also have two children (both girls ), and, I have a lot of weight to lose before Thanksgiving- my goal is also 60lb, and I am 1/3 away from reaching it. I got into your previous TR when you had posted your theme nights. Such a fun idea, that it got me started doing something similar with my family on Sunday mornings. Thanks for the inspiration! :)

I look forward to continuing to read about all your success losing weight, landing a job (or possibly hitting the lottery) and making that October trip to run with your friends. I'm rooting for you! :cheer2:

Now, I have to get back to work...unfortunately. :surfweb:

:cheer2::yay::banana:WELCOME!!!!! :banana::yay::cheer2:

WOW- first post!! I am so excited!!! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Things are a bit crazy with the whole back to school thing!!

So you are from Boston too!!? That is so cool!! And YES - I start AGAIN today on my diet and the C25K. I have kind of taken a vacation from the whole thing and truly am scared to death to even step on that yucky scale to see how much of the weight I lost, that i have gained back! But tomorrow I face the music and will get on that scale so I can keep track of what I have lost.

I love the idea of Sunday mornings. I was worried when I go back to work that Disney nights on friday nights may not be able to happen as often.... but sunday mornings may be a great idea!!

I hope you will follow along.... I promise that soon I will start making this trip report more interesting......

Only 5 more months until we leave!!

OMG dont tell me you are thinking of an October trip too!? I am really thinking I am not going to be able to go...... I am going to be SO sad that week! To get the free dining you will need to book 9/30 and then the race I think is October 1st or 2nd?

Thanks for your compliments on the autograph books. I hope the boys like them! I was thinking of wrapping them and giving to them as a xmas gift??

Hope you hear good news soon! All those pics were so great. I remember them from your past reports.

Thanks Mary! I havent had any luck so far.:headache: I am competing with people willing to work any hours and for not much money and I want flexible hours with good money!! I guess I am going to have to change a little on what I want.

OMG you too!! I cant believe everyone can go in October but me! I am SO beyond sad!!!! I am not 100% out and I guess it depends on what I find for work but to go in February and then 9 months later with a expensive week in the Cape in the middle is not very practical!! :sad2:

I would like to think about an Oct trip. I did tell Danny that all you guys were trying to get a group together for the marathon and that it would be fun to do a Halloween trip. But, I still at the moment would rather a Dec trip (if I had to choose) but, at the same time would love to see you and everyone there.

So, I doubt it...especially with the way things are going around here. Danny may not have a job by than and than it would def be a no go...don't know what is going to happen when the shipyard closes...they are the biggest contract the company Danny works for has...

And this is my first time using the quote reply (just saw the button). Still new to the posting. :confused3 The smileys I got down well though. But I notice I always have a title to my posts, not sure if I should always be using quote replying or not putting in a title. I don't know. I will figure it out. LOL

Yes, another Massachusetts girl here! :cutie: I live, breathe, work in and do all things Boston.. except my accent. Hmm  LOL

Well, if it's any comfort..dieting is HARD! I take breaks all the time. From the diet and working out. Not that I splurge every day during the break, but I allow those fun things in. Like last night we took the girls for soft serve sundaes. Who doesn't want a sundae on a 98 degree day? If you say 'not me', then I have to stop reading this TR. LOL Well, anyways, I take breaks because life is happening, and I've still been successful at losing 40lbs this year. So, have fun once in a while. Good Luck and I look forward to seeing your success! :goodvibes

ALSO, I look forward to seeing this TR more! You are great to follow.
