10 months to go and 60 pounds to loose.Update 1/2/11 Page 38

wow 2TS credits. That's nutso especially with the mixed reviews I'd been reading.

WTG on the running and weight loss. I can't wait to start in Aug or Sept when I'm recovered from giving birth. lol

Are you kidding me? Urgh, I'm sooo P.O.ed  We had a ressie there last year, but that night Mike wanted to just eat CS so we cancelled it and we were planning on eating there this year. It should only be 1 TS, but if they are going to make it 2TS, they should do it Jan 1 when the annual price increases take effect. :headache:

I wonder if you make ressies before Sept if you are grandfathered in as a 1TS? I guess I'll find out on June 6th!

We will see if it even happens... Wayne said he heard the rumor on a podcast. Just in case I am switching our first dinner to Chef de France... With such a large group I don't want to make it and then find out it is 2TS! I have already been there for lunch and for dinner. It is god but no way a 2 TS!

Thanks Shannon!! I know huh- no way is it a 2 TS! Maybe they would change the menu or something. Yes- you need to recover and get used to having that baby around and then this C25K will whip you right back into shape!

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!! Just wanted to tell you I have lost 30 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited. I was down 3 pounds this week!:cheer2::yay::woohoo: More importantly I am 3 pounds away from a number that I just DON"T want to be.... that number that I never saw until I had a baby and that number that never went away after having babies.....:rotfl2: To be under "this number" would be the ultimate motivation to keep pushing on this diet.

Today is Day 3/ Week 2 on the C25K and I am loving it. It feels sooooo good after and has been a great change and a motivator to keep me exercising. I love my hubby for putting the music on my IPOD because I can't tell you how annoying it was tracking the seconds with my stop watch! I found that if I have a nice flat surface and a pretty view it makes the run so much better too... so now I am doing this around this big lake near our house.

I hope you all have a great weekend! And for all my DIS Friends in Disney this week, I will be tracking you on FB like crazy and wishing for a MAGICAL trip for you all!

Hi! I know you are way into your PTR now, but I found it a few days ago and I'm joining in! I'm thinking of starting the C25K program this week, I'm going to Disney in November and I HAVE to lose weight before I go back, I just got back from my honeymoon in WDW almost 2 weeks ago and some of our pictures are just awful because I'm so overweight (take a look at my trip report in progress if you're interested in my horrible pictures :rotfl:)!

I will probably start my own PTR for November when I finish my May TR, but hopefully following along with yours for now will motivate me with the weight loss! Congratulations on 30 pounds, btw! :cheer2:

WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1: Can you believe you are halfway there???

We are doing the Mama Melrose F! package in.......two weeks! I will give you my review when we return:thumbsup2 We have never done MM before.

So-I downloaded a podcast from kissmy@$#&*%$$.org and realized that I had never heard the unedited versions of some of those songs:scared1: Great beat, but I felt somewhat violated at the end of my run:lmao::rotfl: Wk3D1 on Tuesday!!!!!

I am so so so so sad about not being able to come in 10/11. It seriously depresses me!:sad1: I will jealously watch all your TR's for that trip;)

Have a GREAT WEEKEND and again, SO PROUD OF YOU!

WAY TO GO! NICKI!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! YOU ARE ONE AWESOME LADY!
WHEN YOU SET YOUR MIND ON SOMETHING YOU GOT IT!

I was telling Danny about C25K and tried to talk him into starting with me...well, back to square one...(he is not interested in running he said he does not want a new hip anytime soon--what an excuse :confused3 ) no really I didn't think about the impact to his hip...I'm too afraid of neighborhood dogs to do it here...so we are going to go this week to check out the track and see what it is like in the evenings when he gets home and the girls are gone. Maybe he can sit with Ashton at the playground or walk while I try...we'll see...
on another note: I was telling him about next Oct and the 5K and the one for the kids and he did say NO or make a smart comment about how fun it will be for you guys...I think our kicker for next year will be how much Hawaii actually cost?!? I priced airfare last night and with a little doing I think we come to $900pp X3 (we are taking Ashton with us I think)... trying to get this in before I have to pay for a wedding (if she graduates next summer like she says and than takes two semesters for her teaching certification) I'm thinking the end of 2012/2013...

sorry I'm rambling...again CONGRATULATIONS! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!:thumbsup2:
Have a great weekend! you guys!

WOO HOOTY SHAKE YOUR SKINNY BOOTY!!!!!

You are sooo AWESOME Nickie!! You keep me motivated every day to keep working on losing weight! I started C25K yesterday and it was TOUGH! It's hard to push a stroller and run!! I know what you mean about wanting to do week 1 over again! I might have to! I had a hard time running for the whole 60 seconds on some of those intervals! At least I am doing something, right! Which music are you listening to? I downloaded Carli and runningintoshape.com and she really keeps me going! The battery is out on our scale, but I think I have definitely lost some weight because my pants are feeling lose and my wedding rings are slipping around!

Anyway, keep up the great work! You are AMAZING! :cheer2:

Hi Connie!!! Thank you so much- you are so sweet...... I think the track is a good idea- nice and flat! I know you can do this... Maybe you will inspire Danny! and if not, a little "me" time for you will be nice!!!!

WOO HOOTY SHAKE YOUR SKINNY BOOTY!!!!!

Awww thank you Wendy!!! You are ALL inspiring me and it is so nice to have so much support! We need to get some new batteries girl so you can start reporting the loss!!!! That is so great though. Are you doing week 1 still? Week 2 is better!!:thumbsup2

how do I miss you updates?! :confused3 Probably because I leave DIS up so I can pop when I can but I end up missing updates.

So cool that you are loving the C25K program! I am working my way through it too. I hope to graduate by end of June hopefully. I need to track my progress and see how I am doing. I am downloading Carli's stuff now so I hope it will help me to keep pushing through.

CONGRATULATIONS FOR LOSING 30 POUNDS!!!! That is simply amazing! You have lost almost half of what you want to lose already!! :goodvibes: You are such an inspiration!

Just got back on DISboards. It's been quite some time. I was getting ready to write a pre-trip report myself when I decided to look at others posted. I came across your thread and the title hit me right in the face. We are leaving 9/29 for Disney and I want to lose 20 lbs by the time we leave! Even though losing 20 lbs won't make me skinny, it will definitely put me on the right track. It's just a starter goal.

So, after catching up on your tread I noticed another thing.............the 5K in October. We are going to be there this October for the 5K and I have really been debating doing this. I've been doing my treadmill for awhile now, but am still nervous of running on the street! Plus, I seen that you have to run 1 mile in 16 minutes (I think that is what it was). I'm pretty sure this means there is a time limit for the 5K, which really makes me nervous. I also seen the C25K in your thread. I am going to look into this. It might help! :confused3

Anyhow, I will be following along - if you don't mind. You should be very proud of yourself for the weight you have lost. :cheer2: It has taken me 1 month to lose 5 lbs. Ugh! Hoping your weight loss will be an inspiration for me!

Almost forgot..........love your Disney Friday's. I'll have to start doing something like this. It will help pass the time until our trip.

I'm all caught up now! :thumbsup2

1. CONGRATS on the weight loss Nickie and for keeping up on C25K!!!! You are rocking this girl!!

2. Le Cellier is not even close to being a 2TS meal. They'd have to triple the portions in my opinion. The last time we were there the filet was half the size of the previous year. It was yummy but we left hungry so not even worth 1 credit in my book. :goodvibes

3. I love the idea of the kids run. I know Josie would love it! :thumbsup2 I told Joe last night that I wanted to go to Disney during fall break next year and he was totally on board. :goodvibes We are definites at this point!! :woohoo::woohoo:

Thank you all so much for the nice comments!! I do need to update this week and let you all know that I am up 5 pounds this week!:scared1: It was our anniversary and we REALLY splurged. :rotfl2: I am back at it today and want these 5 pounds off this week!! I am going to be REALLY good this week.

I start week 4 on the C25K today!! I can't believe I am going to run for 5 minutes!!! But I have been running for 3 minutes in week 3 and it has been ok.... just a couple of weeks ago I thought I would PASS OUT after 60 seconds so it is pretty amazing!!!

I hope you had a great holiday weekend! I mentioned it on FB, but happy anniversary again! You had an indulgent week, we all do that on our quest to lose weight. The big thing, and sometimes the hardest thing I am finding, is getting back on track!

I hope I can say the same about the C25K program. I am having to back down a bit because of my right ankle/calf. Not sure what is going on--being told a couple things. :confused3 I figure I will give it a week or so and then I may have to go to the doctor because it is getting painful keeping up with the program. :sad2:

Nickie you sound like you are doing a great job with yor wt loss and now your running program!
Glad to hear you and Wayne had such a good time celebrating your anniversary (love the wedding picture on FB, BTW).
Keep up the good work!
:wave2: Connie

Thank you for the anniversary wishes! I have found my way back and the scale is already looking good. :goodvibes I am sorry that you are having some pain with the running. I hope it isnt too serious. Do you wear an ankle brace while you run? That could help maybe if the Dr. says it isnt anything serious??

Thanks Connie!! When Wayne and I got married nobody had a digital camera! It is so weird to look back now at all our pics and none are from our wedding or any of us dating! My mom has this thing where she scans in a real picture and it becomes digital so she did that with a few of our wedding pictures. I am so happy to finally have some digital wedding pics!!:lovestruc

I was thinking about your summer vacation plans.... that is so sad about BP and what a mess it must be down there.
