Just wondered if anyone knew if the 10 day world ticket would be at £199 this year again, like it was last summer. It seems such a good buy. :D

Got all excited there for a minute - thought you had found it at that price.

In 2001 they were on offer for £225 and we thought we had got a bargain - then last year we paid £199. Here's hoping they come down again!

The flightshop site has them at £232 for adults and £185 for age 3-9.

If you have booked through Virgin holidays, you can get the 10 day world pass for £206. This includes the 10% discount for being a F.V.

We had an offer through yesterday from Travel City who we are going with - 10 day world pass £199 valid for arrival by 31 October. We had the same offer with them last year and the tickets were sent to us by Keith Prowse so I don't know if you will be able to get them for that direct from them.

Ive got the latest keith prowse booklet and the 10 world ticket is coming up at £250 for adults and £199 for children, so not that great!!!.

With travel city you book the tickets but don't pay anything until you pay for your holiday 10 weeks before departure so whether travel city know that they are going to be offered for £199 in the coming weeks/months I don't know.

I think the 10 day ticket at £199 was available last year around Feb/ March. I think it is only for use from April till October.
I keep checking the Keith prowse website, but it is under construction. I have e-mailed them about it, but no reply.

So hopefully, everyone else will follow Travel City soon!!!

Can you buy tickets from Travel City even if you haven't booked the holiday with them??

I don't know if you can just buy the tickets from them but their number is 08709 904 899. If you haven't booked your holiday with them they might let you buy the tickets if you pay up front.

Especially so as an annual pass bought at Disney will cost about £245 adult £210 child based on $1.60 = £1.00

Annual passholders also get discounts. Last visit my AP room discount at Animal Kingdom Lodge was almost as much as my wife & I paid for our APs. Effecticely, our park admissions were almost free.

Am I being daft here, but the 30 day fun in the sun works out cheaper.

Well, for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, Paramount quote

Ad $310
Ch $250

so that is $1120. If exchange rate is 1.5 that = £746. Plus shipping is $30. So total is £766

whereas 4 x £199 = £796.

Plus the fun in the sun is unlimited access. Or have I missed something ;)

I had a quote from Paramount on the 3rd of Jan.

I asked if they would be OK for Aug 2003 (when I go) and they said

"The tickets are good for 29 days after the first used. And the tickets will be available on August of 2003."

I've heard they are OK till at least Apr 04 but I'm not sure.

Cheers

Are you sure the fun in the sun pass includes Disney?
I thought I read somewhere that it includes the universal parks, seaworld, Kennedy space centre & a few minor attractions but no mention of Disney parks.

Here is what is included....

(Admission to sporting events at DISNEY’S WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS Complex is valid only on event days; some events require an additional admission charge.

· (1) Traditional Resort Breakfast or Disney Character Breakfast at participating restaurants located within the WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort. I'll be ordering mine very soon:p

I've had confirmation that they are still available, and will be for our trip in October, just not advertised by Paramount any more because they can't supply them to everyone.
