10 day trip cancelled

We were supposed to leave the Northeast today for a 10 day stay at OKW but DH was up all night with an illness that is forcing us to cancel. But - we have relatives in Florida and I'd like to offer them our 10 day reservation. Can I do that? Do I just call MS and tell them who will be using our ressie?

So sorry to hear of your troubles - what a disappointment!

Normally, you can call MS and have their names added to the reservation. But was today your check-in day? If so, you may have to also call the front desk...

Either way - call MS and they'll advise you, but it can definitely be done...

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. The best laid plans sometimes go wrong.

Be sure to call MS and/or the resort ASAP to discuss the situation and your plans to have someone take over the reservation. If a member is just a no-show on the arrival day, the reservation is cancelled and the points are lost.

I'm going to call MS when they open at 9. I'm wondering if we can cancel the first two or three days and keep the rest in case the doc says DH is ok.

I talked with MS. I can let someone else use the ressie or I can delay our arrival (if doc OKs DH travel) and salvage however many days are left of the 9 days if we were to come a couple of days later.

I'd go anyway. Let your DH go to the doc and get some good drugs today and meet you down there tomorrow!
