10 credits for each ghost caught

3. There was one player who wanted to play by himself against four other people. People were desperately trying to get into open games and he would just keep on booting the ones trying to join his side.

I wonder if we were in the same room at the time. I saw this guy too and I thought it was rude and selfish.

Yesterday was the first time I played since trying for green car magic.

Before playing for the magic, I hadn't give the game the time of day for at least 7-8 months.

I'd play it more if it paid more.

See ya Tuesday HM game! And God knows when after Feb! :confused3

With the kind of turnout it had yesterday (and probably every Tuesday this month), maybe Yavn will make this a permanent thing.

I hope, and I hope not. The credits were great and I had a super fun time, also met a friend happy_guest! I just thought the lag and crash were unbearable as the day went on.

The day went much better than I expected! I planned to start playing at opening but slept very late. Given the amount of people playing, I had amazingly little trouble! I hadn't crashed at all then crashed four times in a row but then the crash problem went away. Lag was bad at times but I still managed to capture ghosts. Four or five times, everyone was booted back to the lobby before the game could start. I managed to earn about 17,000 credits!

Bring on more fun days!

Yo Q.. you're post was so perfect to me as a break down of the perfect VMK player testimonial, I just had to quote it..

The day went much better than I expected!

Those are the days that keep us playing. Those are the days we want, but unfortunately, we expect much less on a daily basis.

I planned to start playing at opening but slept very late.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who can (and has!) planned an entire day around VMK. Ability to spend an entire day in VMK has become pretty astounding, especially for us weekend virtual warriors who arise at opening only to decide more sleep is the best option to them BSOD mornings.

I hadn't crashed at all then crashed four times in a row but then the crash problem went away.

I have a dream. And it involves a crash-free virtual world.. for it never goes away.. that first game of the day will always make sure of that!

Lag was bad at times but I still managed to capture ghosts. Four or five times, everyone was booted back to the lobby before the game could start.

These are all problems over a year old. It would shake mountains for VMK to announce that they too are tired of the same old set backs and bugs, and are going to do something about it! I know I'd be like woo woo.

I managed to earn about 17,000 credits!

Nice harvest! I'm guessing that took just under 11 hours? There was a time that amount could be earned in about 3 hours of dedicated, nonstop play. But that's now just a dream.. along with an eternal connection.

Bring on more fun days!

I learned something today. I'm not miserable enough to be reading and writing here. I'm opting to continue to enjoy, that's right, ENJOY, playing VMK rather than get sucked into this vortex of doom. I promise I won't let the door hit me on my way out.

What you precieve as "miserableness" is just the expressed concerns for the game by people who considered you a friend.

Looks like I was mistaking about you. My bad. Good to know now than later.

Lock thy door on thy holier than now.

I thought she was just expressing that she'd rather look for the silver lining
than the dark cloud. I can't say I blame her. It can get depressing to
keep reading the doom and gloom rather than trying to focus on the positive.

Express the frustration, get the venting out, move on. Yup, sounds like a
good plan to me. :thumbsup2

I've remembered today why I don't like playing HM much.

I always get stuck behind some piece of furniture and can't move.
I'm standing practically on top of the ghosts and for some reason still can't catch them.
Constant lag and delays in the screens coming up.
I move my mouse one direction, and my person goes another.
Crashes and errors all the time.
Boots back to the lobby either going into the game or after level 2.

If it wasn't for the extra credits today, I wouldn't have been playing so much. :(

ROFL :rotfl: :rotfl: And here I thought I was the only one having these same problems!! I sit there and scream at the dumb thing to move :lmao: But it don't til its ready...:rotfl:
But haven'nt been booted back to the mansion! Still I had lots of fun with you all playing! It was fun getting extra credits!
Look forward to next Tuesday everyone! ;)

I agree. :)

I have my own problems with fireworks as well as HM. But, I still keep torturing myself to play for the credits.

My own somewhat motto: Hope for the best and expect the worst. That way when things go right, I can be very happy. But when things go wrong, I don't get to unhappy and keep on going and enjoying myself. :)

Wow Ranch. Someone had a great day in vmk and shared it. Was it truly necessary for you to pull apart her every word and turn it into something she did not mean AT ALL?

Is it really necessary for all the negativity? Q had a great day - now that was walked on. :(

It was in no way anything to be mean to her at all. Or to be mean to VMK! But it was a message to VMK..

That post was from someone that had a super day in the kingdom, I can feel it in the words. But yet, if you read it again, she compares the "fun" day to any normal given day. I applaud her post! She told it like it is, and I couldn't agree more with her review of the appointed "fun" day!

These fun days are the bomb, and you might as well call ME the dreamer as I wish for everyday to be fun, and brimming with credits.. and I'm not the only one.

I thank you Dreams buddy for pointing out once again how morbid I can be, but if you're looking for me to apologize for that.. well, 'fraid I can't do that.

I look at it this way... if we got 10 credits for every ghost caught and 20% of our fireworks score in credits EVERY day, you know some, if not most, of the players would want to see 15 or 20 credits for every ghost caught and 25% or 30% of their fireworks score as credits. People can't be pleased no matter what. I'll just be happy with these fun days and be glad we're getting what we're getting.

Tampa, this was a bit harsh!!

You're right. It was an impulse reply to indirectly being called a "miserable" person. :confused3

Never said you were morbid. Never asked you to apologize. Again, you have chosen to twist what was posted. All I said was that Q had a great day - and you tore her excitement apart to be negative.

And there is no need for your "buddy" cynicism towards me. Thank you.

How this all pertains to VMK giving out a few extra credits on a few special days I have no idea. I guess some ppl just need more attention than others.

I really do applaude VMK for adding the special days in Fireworks as well as Mansion. Now how about a special Pirates day as well? pirate:
