10, 9, 8, 7…Partying with the mouse NYE 2009! Home and working on a TR.

I had a fantastic steak at kona too, pity they had run out of pineapples, it seems to happen all the time :sad2:

Sounds like you had a great evening with Epcot, Boardwalk and closing DTD :goodvibes

A 20 minute wait for Nemo?? Wow - it must have been busy! I've never had to wait long for SE either so that's probably why I enjoy it more.

I'm so glad to hear you guys enjoyed your dinner at Kona since that's where we'll be eating for MY birthday dinner. :thumbsup2 And yes - Lapu lapus are STRONG!! (this said from someone who is NOT a light weight ;) ).

Great update, I just love Soarin and Test track. I have seen people wait to get a front row on soarin by asking the CM. I thought the tables at Kona were small and close together, maybe they need to do this I don't remember it being a very big restaurant. I also loved the tropical feel of the Poly and I like their restaurants, it's great to walk around inside and out to soak in the atmosphere with all the pretty flowers and waterfalls. I'm glad your DS found some things he liked to buy with his gift card, it sounds like the stuff my DS would buy, I would go for all the Disney stuff. Looking forward to more! Linda :)
:confused3 I was wondering if you could ask to do that. I have to next time.
Kona was small, but I love it.

Great update Pam!!! What a busy day you guys had! I think, if I'm not mistaken, your guys had dinner at Kona the day we had lunch there. The 4th right? I got my Lapu Lapu in a pineapple! But, you were probably better off without it. It got kind of gushy and soft after awhile and I couldn't pick it up! It was really strong though!! WOW! Can't wait to read more!
So you were the one who drank to many! :lmao:
DH said they should have let me keep the glass.:rotfl:
How was you lunch?

You would know about running out of the pineapples. I remember that from Tracy's Trip report.:lmao:
Thanks for reading!

I need one of those pineapple drinks on my next trip!!! They always look so good.
You ave too! I need one now! :lmao:

Is that where you are eating on your bday? How cool! You will like it. Plus you will get that yummy dessert. Did you make sure to put bday on all your ressies? I think three sips and DH was like ok honey no more lapu lapu till you eat something. I am a one glass of wine girl!:dance3:

Hi Should have a new installment up tonight. Been a bit busy at work and home!
DH and I are planning are summer projects. We built a new flower bed last year near our hot tub, this year I want to put a pond on the other side. DH is calling it a DOG pool already.

:flower3: Anyone feel free to share your pictures of you gardens, I need some warmth here in Pa. I am so tired of the cold!

I am a bit behind tonight. MY DD has been asked to join the national honor society at her school. Of course you have to have so many hours of community service also. She has four hours through her teen church group, and needs six more to qualify. She has a week, so I have been contact everyone and everybody I know tonight trying to found her some more hours. I am really mad about this. It can only be things you did since last summer till now. Which of course her Girl Scout troop broke apart last year, and our church group started late this year. They really should let these kids know the year before; even of it is just ahead up. We want through this with my DS he volunteered all summer at camp and still was not accepted, due to he had to many outside activities. So I will have to post a new installment tomorrow. We are going to watch Idol now.
Anyone else watching? Have a favorite?

I'm watching Idol! :3dglasses

Hi How are you? Who do you like?
So far I like a couple Alexis Grace, but I dont like all the makeup on her.
Michael Sarver,Danny Gokey,Allison Iraheta.
I think I would like Adam Lambert. But was not a fan of what he sang last week!

I love the pic of your son with his loot! Boys never outgrow their love for candy:goodvibes

Still loving your trip report! We did not take advantage of PhotoPass and I don't know why. We only had a few taken, and they were so much better than ones we took...of the castle and those kinds of things. But we didn't get any with "extras" (like Stitch). Didn't even think of it! Your pictures are so good! I will remember that next trip.
We did do the Behind the Seeds tour of The Land. I would highly recommend it. We did it on New Years' Day -our last day- and it was a great way to end up our trip. The park was pretty crowded and we felt like we just went behind the curtain and had the place to ourselves. If you like to garden at all, you'll enjoy this tour!

PS Thanks for the leprechaun! I guess I don't post enough to have a signature! (How embarrassing to be running around signature-less!)

I don't know their names so I give them names. :) I like the roughneck and the little blond girl who won the first elimination. I think the welder would have made it thru if he sang Otis Redding. I think blackie hair (Adam) is a nice kid but not a real professional singer; more like a gimmick. I don't think he is very versatile. Maybe he will surprise me.

When we bought our candy stash it lasted us for a few weeks at home. Love me some jelly bellys...popcorn flavored! popcorn::

Hey Pam...Still here reading along! Sounds like you really enjoyed your lapu lapu, even w/o the pineapple. They are so yummy! Hubbie and I enjoyed our first during our last trip and you can say we are hooked. Just want to tell you that your trippie is really making us look forward to our first christmas trip ever this year. Your pics are just great. BTW, wearabouts are you in PA. We love to visit HersheyPark yearly, kinda like a cheap WDW thrill, huh? We drive and are almost 3hrs from NYC. Thanks for the lucky lepruchen...he will be arriving shortly on my siggie!

Hey I'm still here reading at least. We too are busy adding on an up/down addition to our house. Thankfully the down is now done. Drywalled, painted & carpeted now. Now on to the mondo new bedroom.

Chuck took about 20 pics of that new camaro too. Still miss our old 68 & 78 his & hers set.

He sure wont. I can hide it in the house, and I sware he will smell it.
Thanks for reading!

How long is the tour? I do love gardening. I love how they are growing veggies now. I thik if I grew them that way, I would have more and less would go to the squirrels.

Sounds like you like the same people as me.:lmao: I like the girl who sang heart's alone this week. She is 16!!!!! Heart is one of my favorite groups.
Adam is a bit unreal. He reminds me of Elvis, for some reason.

Hi,
I did enjoy it.:rotfl: Wish I was able to go eat there tonight and have another one! We are about 45 minutes to and hour...depending on traffic away from Hershey Park. We use to go at east once every year to Hershey Park. Last year we did Dorney Park instead. Pa. has many amusement parks all within driving to us. I think we might take the kids and friends this summer to Hershey Park. I think the only thing they have WDW beat in, is the price of food. They are so over priced.
Thanks for stopping in and reading.

Hi Kate,:yay:
Wow you have been busy. When you are done feel free to come to Pa., and add on to my house. I am dying to do something here. I really want a new kitchen. But I want to add on first. We might be remodeling our bathroom this summer. ANYONE EVER USE REBATH?
DH use to have a 68 camaro...the one he should have never sold I say. You will have to post some pictures here of it. I would love to see it.

Hi everyone,
I have been so busy. Something amazing happened. I joined face book, because my cousins were begging me to join, so we could keep in touch.Well my brother who passed away when I was 12.His daughter somehow found me on face book. She was four when he died. Long story short, she lived in CA. with her Mom who did not keep in contact with us after my brother passed. I am being nice!!!!!!!!!!;) So I have been catching up with her. My GDN was born on Feb15 which was my brother’s birthday. So things have been a bit emotional for me.
I am sorting through pictures for my next update. My computer at work and photobucket don’t want to be friends. :rotfl:
It snowed here last night. So much for spring coming!:guilty:
We are to get hit hard tonight and tomorrow with at least 10 inches.
So if I don’t get around to updating tonight it will be tomorrow. Since I will have to take the day off.:rotfl:
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

That's wonderful about finding your niece on FB!

I think we got about 6 inches of snow. It's suppose to be in the 50's/60's this coming weekend so I'm sure it'll be gone soon. :goodvibes

I just joined facebook recently, too. Talk about some blasts from the past.

Rebath is great. You just want to make sure the installers know what they are doing. The material is lifetime guaranteed.

All this snow is making me wish we had taken our Disney trip in Feb, like we usually do, instead of waiting until Sept. :sad2:
