Sorry to hear about your post not making it! I love reading your TR, brings me back to when I did a surprise trip for my kids. They are 3.5 years apart, my oldest is now 19 and my dd will be 16 in a couple of months. My dd wants for her 16th B'day a trip to Disney. Sooo, guess where we will be at the end of June?

I had to laugh at your video, wow - teenagers are all the same! LOL

subbing.... not sure whose TR I came by way of. I'm reading TR's from several people that have commented on your TR, so I'm sure you've commented on theirs. I actually found it a few days ago, but it has taken me awhile to read up to this point. I love the way you surprised your kids. I'm all caught up now and ready to follow along with the others.popcorn::

Hi Welcome. :welcome: Thanks for stoping in to read!

Hi Everyone, Hope if you are on the east coast, you enjoy the nice weather we had this weekend. I hope to get a new installment up tomorrow. Things have been crazy at work the last couple of weeks. We are doing a huge project for COKE! It was so nice out this weekend here in Pa., we got outside.
Wish it was going to stay like this, but I heard rain and back to the 40's again!

Today was our R&R day. We slept in until around 9am. This was really nice. I think I actually got use to the queen size bed. :scared: DH and I only have a queen at home, but what a difference a couple of inches make. Today the sun was shinning so bright. Today’s forecast called for a high of 85 degrees. :dance3: DH headed to the food court for some hot water for my tea, and came back saying "well it don’t feel that warm out". He decides he does not want to go swimming today. So I say well we can go fishing at POR. No he don’t want to waste money on fishing. DON’T WANT TO FISH? It is $3.50 to rent poles. He just woke up on the wrong side of the bed I guess. First, let me tell you that we have a pool at home at DH rarely swims in it. It has to be really hot out for him to go swimming. But not fish???? So I was like well what do you want to do? At this point I am getting a bit aggravated, since I planned this relaxing day and now he wants to change things on me. So I get mad, and tell him to do whatever he wants to do today. Stay in bed for all I care. I go and get a shower, dressed etc. Kids by this point our up finally and eating some breakfast. DH says "I am sorry it just does not feel warm enough for swimming today". So we ended up going to the pool anyway. But of course I don’t swim since i already took a shower and got dressed. :headache: The kids got in and DH sat by the pool in his bath suit soaking up the sun. Of course it got warmer and warmer outside. We only stayed there about an hour and half. Will everyone else got showers and dressed, I washed laundry, will everyone got ready. I also did some shopping at the resort store. Bought myself a resort magnet, and a photo album.

We decide to head to Epcot, since we had an ADR at Chef Mickey’s for dinner.
We walked around world showcase, and rode :donald: boat ride in Mexico.
We had never been on it before and we all enjoyed it. We look for some characters to get photo pictures done, but I guess it was too warm out because we found none. Pooh and friends had a long line in the toy store.
So I told DD we would come back. The kids wanted to ride test track again. I did not want my hair messed up for dinner. So DS and DD rode by themselves, so we head to chef Mickey’s for dinner. Will Dh and I enjoyed the Florida warm weather, and talked about how we are moving there.

We hit the bathroom, and then took the monorail to Chef Mickey’s for an early dinner. I was starving, and so was everyone else.We arrived at Chef Mickey’s about 15 minutes early, but were seated right away. Everyone was starving, since we had a late breakfast and no lunch today. We were seated right by the buffet. I headed right for the scallop salad. I love this, anyone know how to make it? The ham was good, and so was the roast. I filled up on shrimp, salad, and had to save room for the desserts and ice cream. First came the cook himself…Goofy :rotfl:
Disney2009351.jpg

Then my boyfriend made his way over. He wanted to make sure our meal was good.
DH was not happy when::MickeyMo gave DH the camera from my hand and pointed to him and me. Of course DH missed my kiss from my mouse.

DS did not think anything was going to happened here for his birthday, but soon enough it did. We were waving our napkins and a cupcake was brought to him and Donald came over to wish him a happy birthday. After that everyone walking would say happy 16th birthday.
Disney2009352.jpg

Disney2009344.jpg

Donald had to come back over to tell DS he had to take the candle out before eating the cupcake. He was so embarrassed, he started eating it with the candle still in it.
The Pluto came by, making us laugh. He was shaken like our dog, when my DD petted him. We said hey our dog does that at home, and then in his non talking way asked big or small. We said Big a rottie and a yellow lab. He tried to hide, and we said no they are nice. Big babies like you. He stayed with us for a long time. It is amazing how you can communicate with a DOG without the DOG speaking. We told him we were from Pa. and somehow we knew he wanted to know where in Pa. When we stated where, he put his hand to his chin. We said it is close to Philly, and then he got up and was boxing, I think like rocky.:rotfl:

Disney2009354.jpg

We waited around for Minnie. And I pulled A MY MOM, and took cookies and wrapped them in napkin and put them in my bag for later. DH said something, and I said my Mom told me to do it. My Mom was always one to take something from the buffet and put it in her pocket book for the kids. She would have crackers, tissues you name it in her purse. If you needed soemthing she had it in her purse. I wanted one I just could not eat anything more at the moment. Our waitress asked us if we were ready for the check and we said yes, but we wanted to see Minnie. So she want and got our check and brough Minnie back with her.

So with our tummies filled like Pooh Bear, we headed over to DHS!

Awesome update from Chef Mickey's! That pic of you and Mickey turned out really nice. You all look so happy. :goodvibes

Wow - sounds like you had a great time at Chef Mickeys with great character interaction. Much better than we did! :thumbsup2

Great update Pam!!! Sounds like you guys had a great time at Chef Mickey! We love that place and wouldn't miss it each trip!!!

Everyone that goes to Chef Mickeys seems to have so much fun. I can't wait to take my kiddos one day. Great pictures with the characters. Sorry your relaxing morning didn't go exactly how you planned, but sounds like the rest of the day turned out great. :)

We arrived at DHS. First thing we wanted to do was to go and do the animation drawing thing. When the last group filed out many came running over to use sitting in the waiting area. :confused3 Here they were told they would be drawing Tinkerbelle next. So I was a bit upset that all these people came running into the area. I wanted to make sure we had seats. Our last trip we did not have a great experience at this attraction. Thankful, we all were able to get a seat.
Disney2009310.jpg

We were informed that Yes we are drawing Tinkerbelle. All I can say is she is not easy to draw. All of ours ended up looking like an alien sort of Tink. Though, we later found key chains of her that looked pretty alien evil looking like our drawings. I will post the drawings for a good laugh later. After laughing at how awful we can not draw. We waited in line to ride Toy Story Mania again. The wait was not bad, about 30 minutes.

We then headed over to see if there was a later beauty and the beast show, but no luck. So we decided to get in line for Fantasmic. The line was already forming on the street for Fantasmic. We had no idea till we got to the entrance and were told that the line was forming out on the street. It was very crowed. :grouphug: We got a fairly good spot. As always we enjoyed the show.

After Fantasmic, we browsed in the shops and then headed back to the resort. We wanted to get up early tomorrow so I could full fill one of my 10 ten must do’s!

Hi everyone,
Hoping to update again this weekend. I have it ready to go, just have to add the pics. Of course I forgot to do that last night. Nor did I email it to myself at home. DH birthday is Saturday, so more like Sunday. We have a busy weekend. Of course they had to make DD soft ball tryouts on DH birthday.
Have a great wekend! TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:

Yes, we're getting very excited! I just have so much on my mind with our upcoming move and trying to figure all of that out. And April is a busy month for us too (as is May).

Do you think my boys would like the animation attraction? Everyone tells me we should try it. I bet Chuck would enjoy it as he's a good artist.

Only a 30 minute wait for TSM? That's pretty good! :thumbsup2

Yes, I thik they would really enjoy it. I cant draw at all, but we had much fun trying and we laughed a lot. If you dont want to sit through the listing part, you can go through the gift shop to get to the drawing part.
Hopefully by time you move it will warm enough for you to hit the beach!:goodvibes

You had fantastic character interaction at CM's and TSM only had a 30 minute wait :faint:

Sounded like a lovely day :)

I think I'd like to try the animation thing next time. I can't draw AT ALL, but I'm sure it would be fun.
