Does anyone know the cost for the mini-golf? This would be something my guys would like.

Also, who is staying at the Raddison the night before the cruise? Please let me know and I'll start a list of those staying there.

Sorry, I don't know anything about Mini Golf. The Radisson has a great pool, we've always just hung out there.

Lori, I'm glad you're getting out of that old funk. It's no fun feeling that way. Just keep it in mind that Paradise awaits you.

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes about my DSs arm. He is at school today getting used to having it back again. He's still not allowed to play/do any contact sports or games for 4-6 weeks. It was a bit sore to straighten it for a while & it's still stiff to move but he is getting better at it & in a couple of days he'll probably stop thinking about it.

I started working on Post 4 in this thread thinking it would be a good place to put all activities etc. in one spot. So - what am I missing?? I will try to keep it current. Shall I just reference the folks in charge of an event? I would happily direct them to a specific post number but let me know.

We are going to do mini golf in WDW a couple days before the trip, so we will probably skip the mini golf meet.

First of all it came in a large envelope. Inside is a letter saying... Welcome Back aboard! Your next Disney cruise is closer than ever. So we're sending you this travel kit filled with all the details you need to plan your dream cruise.
It goes on saying that there's great stuff to do...etc.
Then it tells me that my hassle free date is Jule 6, 2008. YES!!! that's my date to make my ressies and sign my 11 year old up for kids jail I wish, Just kidding, she really is sweet.
Then it gives our sailing date, Oct 4, 2008
Along with the letter came a book called "Ship and Shore Vacation Guide"
Inside is information on shore excursions, quick tips for smooth sailing, gift you can purchase, setting sail on the Disney Magic basically explaining what to expect. Vacation protection plans and last formal wear, they are pushing mens formal wear to rent.
It all came in a nice brown folder which I will be using to put all my travel information in, including my docs.
I hope everyone gets theirs soon.

We are staying at the Raddison too! We loved it last year. It was a great way to start the vacation. We also love the pizza place next door. Breakfast was great too. Can you tell I'm anxious??

I have two more days of Gifted Camp to teach and then I'm through! Say a little prayer for me if you will. I think I may be coming down with strep throat, and there are NO allowed absences. I'll just have to keep my distance.

I will watch our mail to see if we get any sort of packet. But, I must not be too high on DCL's list - our first cruise was in 2000 and we still don't have Castaway Club cards ! I have the numbers so that is all that really matters I guess.

Ginger - stay well and hopefully it isn't strep. Good luck finishing out camp and then take a good rest.

Those of you that are repeat cruisers - check to be sure that DCL has that on your reservation so you don't have any problems at 90 days making reservations. Even if you are booked through a TA, you can call DCL directly and they will verify that for you.

Mini Golf in Cozumel - I have no idea on pricing but would be happy to scout around and see what I can find out and report back in Post 4.

Also, I took over the Palo Brunch so if you hadn't already signed up, send me a PM and I will add you to the list. There is room for 4 - 6 more.

I sent an email about pricing to the Cozumel Mini Golf place this AM. I will post the reply if/when I get it.

Ginger... hope your throat gets better quickly. I have been dealing with an abcessed (sp?) tooth for the past week. I am on antibiotics and Vicodin, but it isn't getting any better. My root canal isn't until the 16th... I don't know how I will last until then.

Anyone do the Chikin Ha or San Gervasio Mayan Ruins before? I want to do a tour on my own since the DCL tours are so long, then head over to Paradise Beach. Suggestions?

Unfortunately for me, we discovered that out fridge wasn't cooling last night so I am home waiting for the repair-man. Please cross your fingers that we are dealing with a fuse and not the compressor! Ack!

Not a clue but worth looking into. I however want to do the very long for elements excusion but I will not have kids to consider. Hopefully somebody will know and can share the needed information.

But I would feel so guilty if they missed the opportunity to see these places. That's the real reason I am considering a short ruins tour... I don't know when this chance will come again, and don't want them to miss out on anything.

Took the kids last year and they were unreal so they are staying behind in Cozumel on the double dip but on this cruise we will be an adult only room. So no kids to leave behind.

Hi everyone, I haven't had time to post lately, my youngest son is transfering to a college in Atlanta and it's a pain. I think we finally got everything done. I'm not looking forward to him moving to Atlanta, but I know I have to let him start his life. Oh well don't want to think about it right now, he doesn't move till August. Then I've got my Disney cruise 2 months later.

Waeagle- I'll be staying at the Raddison the night before. It will be DH,DS & I in one room, My SIL, Her DD and a friend of hers in the other room.

I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to bring for the fish extender gift. Any Ideas? Pam

It's a drizzly Saturday afternoon here. This is the first rain we've had for ages, and it's not even raining properly. Luckily the temperatures haven't been too bad so far. Only cold nights/early mornings. But it does make it hard to get the kids up in the mornings when it's cold.

And me here dealing with a mild sunburn. Didn't get the sun screen put on soon enough. You would think after 53 years I would learn but I seem to do this at least once each summer. It will be gone is just a few days but still not the smartest thing to let happen. Any one else recieve their planning kits?

Tania - sorry about your weather - and sorry about ours too. We have had two days of off and on rain (the kind where it comes down so hard it washes away instead of soaking into the ground). Lots of thunder and lightening to go along with it. But take all that moisture and the temp is about 80 and we have a tropical jungle! Funny how I can dislike the heat and humidity as much as I do and LOVE to cruises to all those hot places.

Lois - no kit here as yet. I will report as soon as I have them though.

Went to the doctor yesterday about my knee - guess I am going to be seeing an orthopedic guy and having a scope done. Yippee skippy! But, the limping and pain has to go. But, I did loose 12 pounds since I was there in March so that is a good thing.

Well, DS Drew and DH David leave for Boy Scout camp on Tuesday - both are going to be there for the summer. That leaves Ben, Kristie and me at home. I think it will be good for David to get out and about on a daily basis. We shall see how that all plays out.
