MNSSHP 10/31 TICKETS ON EBAY FOR SALE. BIDDING IS UP TO OVER $900!!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?:

WE ENDED UP GETTING TICKETS FOR THE 29TH BECAUSE OF THE 31ST BEING SOLD OUT.

How would you even know those tickets are valid - it's not even showing the date on the back of the cards. That's pretty scary, if you ask me!

I can't seem to find that anywhere. Can you post the link?

Odd!! Who would bid that much for these tickets?? Do they think they are bidding on something like the Hundred Haunts Ball (or whatever the thing is called?). The seller has over 1000 positive comments so I would guess they probably are legit tickets, but still who would bid so high? Most of the bidders are newbies -- wonder if the highbidder will come through!

I know I'm a little obsessive about keeping the date right on my camera, computer and all that but did anybody else notice the date stamp on the picture? 2003/10/20

Giving the benefit of the doubt, maybe the seller doesn't keep the date accurate.

Call me  if you want but I'd be leary of bidding on them with a 2003 date stamp on the picture. Let alone the price

I would be leary too. I feel bad for the person that actually buys them:(

I haven't checked that auction since yesterday. I thought 480 was ridiculous. It's my birthday on the 31st, we decided to go late and aren't arriving until the 30th, so the 31st is our only option to go. I don't need to be there that bad! I'll just plan better for next year!

I did find some info about getting tickets that have been returned, but you can't get them until that day. I posted the full details on the official mnsshp thread and am too new to know how to put the link here!

$900, unbelievable.

I've only ebay'ed a few times so I am a novice but I am wondering if there is some kind of recourse if these aren't legitimate tickets?

I mean, really, I can take my 2003 MNSSHP tickets and say they are for Halloween night 2004 and these people wouldn't know until they get to the gate. There must be something in ebay's policy???

I totally don't trust that photo! October 2003??? Maybe if it said September 2003, then maybe I would think she set the date wrong accidentally but October???

And why would someone pay so much for tickets that are worth ..what? $130???

I smell something fishy! ::yes::

Maybe these people do this every year. Buy tickets for the event and resell. Maybe they do it with MVMCP tickets also.

Maybe they use the same pic for all their auctions for tickets.

Maybe the high bidder is some rich dude who to him, money is no object. Some rich people just want what they want...That's it.

We see people buying vouchers for much more than they are worth all the time on ebay...but I still think this is crazy.:earseek:

That's nuts! If I thought that I could get that much for my tickets (I have them for the 31st too) then I'd sell mine::yes:: It would pay for the whole trip:eek:

and why wouldn't they bid on the other tickets for the same night? 2 adults/2kids for 380- instead of 940??????

There is a 2nd set already up to nearly $400

Oh Man! I am so tempted to sell mine.
But I won't!!!

I emailed seller asking for a pc of the date on the ticket but no response yet. I hope they are legit, not that Im buying!.
