Good morning fellow cruisers. Only 55 days to go. Welcome to those who have recently joined our DIS group. . Anyone staying at Hyatt Place in Ft Lauderdale Tuesday night? Or useing SAS transport from Ft Lauderdale to port on Wednesday morning?

I am beyond excited!! We have our costumes in place for the MNSSHP for our pre-stay and costume party on the Magic. We are staying near the airport in Miami, the Hyatt House. Points, so we saved some money. We are probably going to take a taxi from our hotel to the port.

We were only able to get a 12PM boarding time. What time does everyone recommend we get to the port for that? We do have to register Madelyn for the kids club.

Thanks Henlady. I just thought some people like to go super early and I don't want to do that. That makes for a more leisurely morning.

Years ago people would arrive at port as early as possible in hopes of getting a low boarding number. The port/ waiting area got crazy busy. Then they started having port arrival times and that made it much better. They supposedly make those who arrive much earlier than scheduled wait till their assigned time to enter. At port canaveral they begin boarding the ship at around 11:45. Not sure how it works in Miami

Looks like I'm taking over the FE group so any queries send my way!

Once I have received the information from Joy I will circulate the details of names and staterooms together with any special requests to those signed up. If you haven't provided Joy with these details please can you send them direct to me.

As far as I can tell we currently have 11 cabins confirmed so if no one objects it makes sense to me to have all of these in one group rather than split them. I will start a second group if any further requests are made and include Karmacats, Jadedjojo and Kjackson83 in this.


Below is taken from Joy's previous post and I was planning on just continuing this way!

"Due to the new rules on here the FE has to be run entirely on disboards and not linked elsewhere, also people should only share as much personal information as they are comfortable with.

If you are interested in joining the FE we just need to know how many people (adults/children) are in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving.

Any other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favourite characters etc is upto you.

FE gifts are entirely up to the givers discretion with regards to value, whether they are individual or cabin gifts, or if you give one gift per cruise or per day.

Closing date for sign up is October 1st 2015."

I will follow this post with a list of those I believe to be signed up to the FE group. If you wish to participate and are not on the list please let me know I will start a second group.
