Anyone have an example of personal navigators for a trip like this. I found guidelines at one point but of course now cant find them. Im trying to decide the best night to try to do a Palo dinner, but definitely dont want to miss the best of the other restaurants. Which night do people recommend for an adult night out?

Hi All, I'm a new cruiser and checked in last night at 12:01 EST. I wasn't able to book Palo Brunch. But I just checked again and there were spots open at 10:30! I grabbed 2 but checked my other stateroom ressie and it was still showing up as available. So go book Brunch if you still need to!

I'm a little worried about spending the extra $$ just because we could eat for "free" and this cruise has already cost us so much $$. Plus we aren't really foodies and would be just as happy lounging by the adult pool eating sandwiches. Plus my DH eats out several times a week at fancy restaurants for his job.

But I've read so many great things that I couldn't resist. I figure I can always cancel.

Getting very excited now- as we are doing B2B cruises we are now under the 90 day mark!

I'm new to all of this but have done hours and hours of research. I've seen consistent comments that people like to book Palo on Pirate night because they are less fond of that menu in the MDR's. For our cruise I believe pirate night is Oct 30.

I wish we knew our dining schedule prior to booking adult dinner night also. I don't want to miss out on Animators Palate but as a newbie I felt like I had to book Palo or lose the chance of getting it.

Does anyone have an opinion on excursions with little ones? Like 3 and 4 year olds. There aren't many options so I thought glass bottom boat but it look like standing room only and I don't know if that sounds like a great idea with the little ones. Thoughts?

I just logged in and checked again - using my other stateroom - not sure if that matters and 10:30 brunch was available!? Also, it does say that the price is pending - as it did for my reservation. I did receive an confirmation, FWIW. So it will be interesting to see how it pans out!

Could you let me have your stateroom number and names together with any other info such as allergies etc. You can send this information through by private message if you don't want to post it here but will need 10 posts to do this. Once you have 10 posts I can send you the FE group information by PM.

Good luck trying to keep it a surprise- I failed miserably trying to keep it a secret from my daughter I was far too excited!

You've got the right idea Bethy! I always say it's better to try it, atleast once! My hubby and I are "peanut butter and jelly people," but we will try anything once. On our first cruise we did Palo and were very impressed, but ever since then we've never really felt like we wanted to do it again. We get it for free now so that makes it even stranger that we wouldn't want to go. But I wouldn't trade in that first experience at Palo for anything! The chocolate souffle is a must. Enjoy!!

Hi guys! I've read through all the post and saw mention of a meet and great but nothing set in stone. Is a meet and greet still in the works?

This will be my second Disney trip! I missed out on the first Trips meet and greet because they scheduled it during the sail away party.

Last year I did the Palo brunch (because my hubby is a picky eater and refuses to try anything that remotely sounds exotic) and both hubby and I loved it! We had reservations at 10:30, stuffed our faces in time to pick our kids up and take them to lunch. This time, or reservations are at 12 Do you think something may open up earlier? Do I continue to check everyday or wait once I'm on the ship?

Once I have received the information from Joy I will circulate the details of names and staterooms together with any special requests to those signed up. If you haven't provided Joy with these details please can you send them direct to me.

As far as I can tell we currently have 11 cabins confirmed so if no one objects it makes sense to me to have all of these in one group rather than split them. I will start a second group if any further requests are made and include Karmacats, Jadedjojo and Kjackson83 in this.


Below is taken from Joy's previous post and I was planning on just continuing this way!

"Due to the new rules on here the FE has to be run entirely on disboards and not linked elsewhere, also people should only share as much personal information as they are comfortable with.

If you are interested in joining the FE we just need to know how many people (adults/children) are in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving.

Any other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favourite characters etc is upto you.

FE gifts are entirely up to the givers discretion with regards to value, whether they are individual or cabin gifts, or if you give one gift per cruise or per day.

Closing date for sign up is October 1st 2015."
