Rented a really great movie to watch with Bob tonight:

I saw it at the theatre when it came out and barely blinked through the whole movie nor did I go to the bathroom!

Jay and I saw it back in November. I agree, Rose ... it was a great movie that didn't let up for a single minute. And given the industry I work in ... I'm sad to say I thought the premise was pretty plausible.

Hey Brenda, I just came back from the book store and they had a bargain book that was on my wish list on Amazon for years... so I HAD to buy it ( I only have about 30 other books in my home that I HAD to buy but haven't read yet )

Anyway it is Johnathan Strange and Mr. Norrell. A long time ago someone had told me that it was kind of a Harry Potter like story.

Have you read it?

I had to go out to web and watch the trailer for it. I do remember it advertised, but forgot about it. It would be a movie that Mark & I would like, thanks for letting us know it's on DVD

Woody got the Job!!!!!

We are so excited! He will start on 3/10/08.

ok, Now time to vent!
He went for what was supposed to be a counter meeting with his current company and the guy was a real a$$. First off he told Woody he would meet with him at his office. Then called and told him to come down the road to meet him at his office. Ok. Then he called Woody and told him to meet him at Wendys since he hadn't eaten yet. What kind of supervisor would do that! That just seems very rude to me. So Woody meets him and he says that basically if he was so uphappy then why didn't he tell someone. Woody told him that the unit has been complaining about being understaffed for a year and he never seemed to want to listen. His response was "I'm a very busy guy". And then his phone rang and he said "I'm done with my meeting. I'll be back in the office in 10 min." They had just sat down to talk! He then told Woody that he doesn't believe in giving counter offers. That if someone wants to leave then they should just go. It's usually better for the department anyway. I gotta tell ya. Woody has a VERY short fuse! But he kept his cool and thanked the you know what for his time. He called me on the way back to the office and said that that meeting just put the nail in the coffin.

Sorr- some people just make me so mad. I don't know how Karma just doesn't run over them with a bus!

It's a zipline tour. Something I've always wanted to do but never got a chance.

i'm still trying to get all the way caught up reading from our trip.
saw this last nite and showed it to robin. shes like "we're doing that"!!
every time they have the zipline on the amazing race, she goes nuts.
