Its roller day today! - just having a cupa then I have to start "humping" the sofas etc into the middle of the room. They weigh a ton and theres 3 sofas and a chair to move, aswell as 4 little tables.

I'll be knackered before I even start rollering. Gotta get it all done and everything back by 3pm cos I have Ellis' friend over for dinner after school and they want a wii competition and thats in the room I'm painting.

Our council is on strike AGAIN next Tuesday, another day off school for Ellis. We're having another friend over to play hat day so at least they will occupy themselves. I'm pleased he's settled in well now at school. It took a while, but he said something the other day that really put my mind at rest...we were passing his old school in the car and he said - "I dont even think about that old school anymore"..I was so chuffed after all those weeks of "I want to go back to my old school" last year. Kids eh - they're just one big worry.

Morning all ...

We're in the middle of another stupid storm ... freezing rain, sleet, and then finally some snow. I'm going to leave early this morning so I can get to the office and then hopefully get out early this afternoon so that I can sit in three hours of traffic coming home while there's still daylight.

I need a job closer to home. My manager has decided he has issues with people working off-site. The dude needs to come into the 21st century.

Wish us luck - it could be a long messy 24 hours.

We're in the middle of another stupid storm ... freezing rain, sleet, and then finally some snow. I'm going to leave early this morning so I can get to the office and then hopefully get out early this afternoon so that I can sit in three hours of traffic coming home while there's still daylight.

I need a job closer to home. My manager has decided he has issues with people working off-site. The dude needs to come into the 21st century.

Wish us luck - it could be a long messy 24 hours.

2nd coat is drying...It needs a third ....It'll be touch and go whether it gets done by 3pm - I am not gonna be popular if they cant wii

My dreadmill just arrived - huge box in hallway - cant wait to open it but I'd better wait til that darned painting is finished or I'll get distracted and never finish.

Fingers and toes crossed Nancy - loads of luck, but I'm sure the results be be just fine - having fingers and toes crossed makes it hard to climb the ladder and makes painting difficult though

It's 9AM and I'm finally at work ...

Only took a little more than two hours ... fabulous. But at least everyone arrived safely. There were so many major interchanges shut down due to multi-car accidents that just getting to the office was an exercise in creative thinking.

Can't wait to do it again tonight!
