Ok, Newbie people - tell us about yourselves

Apologies if you've already done so on other pages, but with 93 to check back on I thought I'd just ask again

Name, travelling with, where from, celebrating anything onboard, first cruise or seasoned travellers????....that sort of thing



I'll start...

I'm Karen, hubby is Neil and ds is Ellis age 7 - will be just 9 when we cruise.
I'm a stay at home mom, this is our 2nd cruise and we're from near Birmingham in England. We'll be celebrating Neils 40th Aug 09 so the cruise will be his celebration prezzie, just as mine was this year.

Can't remember if I did this before or not, having a Senior Moment............


I'm Andy and my DW's name is Hazel, we have a DD 17, but she said she wants to stay home in October 2009, she'll be 19 by then, so we just might ler her, LOL!!!

I've been reading water meters, for the township we live in, for nearly 29 years. Hazel has been a stay at home mom for the past 6 years, before that she was a bill collector for 22 years. I've had 7, yes I said 7 knee surgeries over the past few years. I hope to be able to retire in the Spring or Summer of 2010. Hazel and I own a vacation home in Lake County, Florida and that's where we plan to live after I retire.

Hazel and I will be celebrating our 34th Wedding Anniverary on 10/24/09, the day we sail on the BOB TWIT cruise.............

This will be our 6th DCL cruise, 7th cruise overall...........

Our DD plans on going to Massage Therapy School after graduating from high school in 2008.

OK, I'll bite:

We're Nancy and Chuck. This will be our 3rd Disney cruise. We have two children, although I like to call their respective others "our" children also. They are Tony 27, (his fiance' Stacy 25), Kristin 23 (and her soon to be fiance' ...I hope...Jesse 27). Tony and Jesse are best friends since kindergarten.

Chuck and I are both in management. We'll be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary on the cruise.

Our kids are DISers ST Cruisers (Tony & Stacy), and Team Fun Pants (Kristin & Jesse) although they rarely post. Chuck is DISer Charlie Tuna.

I'm Paige and my husband is Rob and we live in Virginia. We have 3 children, but they won't be with us on KK2. I am a stay at home mom and Rob is an operations analyst in the U.S. Marine Corps. He plans to retire in June 2011, and I want him to get a job in operations research at Disney. (I feel kind of silly since most of you know this already.)

He is LsuMarine (I forgot to mention we are originally from Louisiana) on the Dis but doesn't post very much.

underdog was suppopsed to have a phone pacemaker check today, but had to work dayshift and have been playing phone tag with the hospital.
tart girl and i are heading over to ds later for his 30th bday.
found out addison has a touch of pneumonia, but they can treat it with medicine( no hospital) she better heal up by a week from friday as they are supposed to go to wdw then.

Hope little Addison gets better real soon.

We maybe doing things on our own in Mexico and Aruba.
We are looking at the Deluxe tour in Cartagena.
The thing I want to do most is the Dolphin Trainer for a Day in Puerto Vallarta, but I looked online and it was cheaper than doing it through Disney so I may do it that way.

My name is Becky and I will be traveling with my DH Sean. We have 2 children, but they will not be on this cruise with us. We will be celebrating our 40th birthdays on this cruise. I am the head secretary of a middle school, and DH is a Deputy Sheriff. We live in California. This will be my 6th Disney Cruise, and my husbands 4th.

Im Robin also known as tart girl, sweet tart and pop tart, my dh is Mike (dyerneeds) also know as underdog & cinna-mike. We live in NE Ohio.

We will also be celebrating ou 34th anniversary on the 09 cruise. (Oct. 18)
We have 2 children, our ds is 30 and our dd is 20.

Our ds and his wife have a 15 month old daughter. Our dd is a photographer and she & her boyfriend have their own photography studio in southern Ohio.

Mike has worked for a tire manufacturing co. for 33 yrs. and I work as an Assistant to the Corporate Manager of Workers' Compensation.

This will be our 5th Disney Cruise.

Hi everyone...

We just got home...went to see our ds for his b-day.

Addison isn't doing too bad. She has dark circles under her eyes and is rather grumpy. She's not eating very well and tires very easily. She started he antibiotic today. She goes back to the Dr. next Wed. at which time they'll probably do more xrays.

They are suppose to leave Fri. evening for WDW.

I realize this may not be the best time BUT we will have a 9 yr old DS on the cruise. This episode sounds so much like something ours would do AND we also bought leather sofas this past year. Now I'm scared. I 've been keeping them covered with sheets during the day for fading but now I'm wondering if it will keep them Remington safe!

Hope everything works out with the door and furniture!

I feel bad for our son and dil. They are going to be so stressed out before they leave.

Here's a Julia story.......

Julia turned 5 yesterday and we did the cake and present thing. So, this morning when I went to get her up to go to the babysitters, she woke up and said "I don't want to go to school today!!". She was convinced since she turned 5 she had to start school.
I thought that was just too cute since we haven't said anything about school.
