Becky...

Are you taking the repo cruise in August 08.

Is it full?

Yes we are. I think it is presently, but they have been posting cabin availability here and there. Sean and I are going for our 20th anniversary. I just found out that they have a Dolphin Trainer for a day in Puerto Vallarta, and I am freakin out because that is what I wanted to be when I was little.

I was just checking the prices for those and it wasn't coming up. I figured it was full.

Not planning on going any time soon. After Oct. 09, we'd like to cruise Hawaii. I'm hoping that will be next if we can stay away from Disney long enough. :rotfl2:

Well you never know, maybe one of the ships will be sailing to Hawaii with Hawaii DVC going in.

We'll take him, but you will have to come and make that delivery though. ;)

I'VE CALMED DOWN NOW SLIGHTLY

Karen, I have a great dvd for you to watch with a sweet little angel singing a song about Bethleham.
(I believe his name is Ellis)

Angel to little devil in 4 minutes:rolleyes: - I still want to work out how to post it.

I'm sitting here watching the weather get worse and worse while everyone else is leaving for the day. Both bosses hit the road already hours ago. I might be checking into that Holiday Inn Express that Brenda passed up.

There are only 2 of us left here. :sad2:

Hope you were safe Nancy - and everyone else in that yucky weather

I think I just did something dumb. (I know, I know...what's new?). I had Bruschetta for lunch and and apple. It's all I brought along today. If I'm snowed/iced in here tonight I'll be dining on whatever is left in the fridge here.

Dinner: Mustardrelsishketchupmayoparmesancheeseyougurtjellyyams(huh? who the heck brought those in?) sandwich on an english muffin. If we don't lose power I'll toast the muffins first. Anyone care to join me?

Stayed tuned for my Food Report. Brenda, can you help me think of a name for it plz?:lmao:

Sounds yummy:lmao:

I feel so bad for all of you having this horrible weather. The ice and snow that you are getting is SUPPOSED to go to our north, so says the weather people here, only time will tell.

Hazel got a 2:15pm appt. today for Angelina to see the doc(they are there right now). The fever came down a little with some Tylenol, but she was complaining of a sore throat when I checked on her at lunchtime.

Hope she feels better today:hug:

Our underwater camera one was a Pentax Optio W20. This is what some of the pics looked like:

It was an excellent camera. It takes an ordinary SD card and a separate battey charger. It was good value for money at $140 delivered.

Hi Heather- we were looking at the w30 but money ran out before we got it last year - same as yours but goes a little deeper I think. Photos are great:thumbsup2

I want to come with you guys!

Just can't seem to convince Bob right now....

I'd love to secretly put down a deposit......
then we'll see what happens down the road, but right now I cannot even
get that deposit together....:headache:
Christmas......
car exhaust pipes... clutch replacement time....

next year...
Sean's graduation and moving him down to Florida....

I'm really thinking of trying though!
and just not telling Bob...................

Book it!:thumbsup2

Oh no! Karen! I'm so sorry! :grouphug:

I don't have any advice, but I hope things work out :)

The one sofa has come out fine, the other still has flecks of white gloss ingrained in the leather

Nope, just a good old fashion cold and scratchy throat. We did have her call out from work tonight, I think she got herself run down a bit, her BP was 90/50 when she was at the doc this afternoon.

Hazel and I just got home from delivering Poinsettias(sp) for the band/choir fundraiser, over 700 flowers were sold. Luckily we only had our 12 to deliver, unlike a couple of weeks ago when we had 31 cheesecakes to deliver. I'm pooped, this is it for the fundraisers, at least for now anyway!!!

31 cheesecakes!:scared1: - cruel cruel man.........how can you mention 31 chesecakes when my diet is only 2 days old:lmao:

Love the new thread title!

Karen - deep breaths. Hopefully with a good nights sleep a solution will come to you (or after some internet browsing). Do you by any chance have the protection plan they sell? sometimes it's free for a year. I'll cross my fingers.

Nope...no warranty:rolleyes: - hopefully with the leather polish today it will look ok. Ellis is still alive....just;)

We just watched the special, too. I really want to ride the new coaster at Animal Kingdom. We'd like to take the kids some time this year--Maybe a holiday trip!:grouphug:

EE is great - love the backwards bit:banana:

I realize this may not be the best time BUT we will have a 9 yr old DS on the cruise. This episode sounds so much like something ours would do AND we also bought leather sofas this past year. Now I'm scared. I 've been keeping them covered with sheets during the day for fading but now I'm wondering if it will keep them Remington safe!

Hope everything works out with the door and furniture!

He was very apologetic once I'd calmed down...bless him - he even offered to pay for them out of his bank (he's actually richer than us at the moment).

I need some of that black and yellow "police line - dont cross" tape - maybe that might remind him.

I have to finish gloss painting today - it takes 8 hours to dry though so it'll still be tacky when he gets back from school.

Last few prezzies turned up yesterday - wrapping them today then christmas is sorted:banana:

Then I move onto party planning mode ready for saturday, followed by decorating and having the workmen in on the 21st Dec to plaster the garage.

Am i mad having plastering done 3 days before xmas? - I know I am, but I want the garage to look great for Ellis.

It will have his new snooker/air hockey etc game table in there, his Nintendo wii on our old 28" tv, and new golf game he knows nothing about, his new punchbag he knows nothing about and we're decorating it with his football team flags and posters etc.

If the plasterer finishes on the 21st (hope so), I can paint the ceiling on the 22nd and then 3 coats on the walls on the 23rd. Build the table and decorate xmas eve. It'll be tight but I want it special for him (even though he trashed my sofas;) )

Kids eh!:goodvibes

Forgot to say yesterday - we went to the theatre to see "Santa the musical" last night - those free tickets Ellis won - it was great!

I did however have a glass of wine:rolleyes1 - only one though and no snacks apart from 2 spoons of icecream.

It was a real rush after the sofas delayed us but we got there just on time. I ate my dinner in the car on the way and went out with only half my hair dried:rotfl: - I must have looked a right sight!

ANYWAY...I'm off to paint - wish me luck:rolleyes:

I'm doing great. Rob just called to say he'd pick up the kids from school. And I am playing Bunko tonight....:woohoo:

Bunko..:confused3 (withhold thoughts:rolleyes1 )

Bye everyone.
The doctor came in and wants to work now. Gotta go.

Bloody cheek of the fella...:snooty:

We named the trip after him tell him....:rotfl:

Hey there!

Wow, I'm missed after one day?!?! Thanks guys...I feel so loved :goodvibes

We're all fine here...long story though. Here goes....

My workplace gives each employee 1 day off a year to do volunteer work. It's a neat little benefit. So, today, I was signed up to work for the Salvation Army, sitting at the mall at their Angel Tree. Pete was supposed to go in to work, just like normal. It was going to be a very busy day at work for him. Oh, and he works in Beloit, which is 20-25 minutes down the interstate.

Then, we got all this lovely weather. Ick. Our city has not plowed the last two times it has snowed, so, we were getting freezing rain on top of unplowed streets. Schools were closed, as well as Thomas's daycare. Pete stayed home, and I went to the mall to work at the Angel Tree, where all of 6 people stopped by. So, it's been an odd day, to say the least.

We still have power, the roads are sloppy, and I'm glad to be home and not driving around. I might have to do some baking tonight to warm up the house!

If you need any help off-loading the extra cakes, buns you only have to ask...:rolleyes1

So here is a secret about me. I swear it is true, and will swear on any bible, child, grave you ask me to. But I have never ever in my 38 years been drunk. I have been a little loopy, but not drunk, not ever planning on it either. So I will be the designated hall walker if you need to be a TWIT on this cruise.
same with the tart girl and i Becky. just high on life here.:thumbsup2

Am so sorry :sad2: the first thought that entered my head was "a nice bottle of Smirnoff vodka will sort that out"...Sorry am a bad DISS friend....:sad2:

arrive on the 2nd. fly back on Feb 10th.:thumbsup2
never been there in Feb, so it should be interesting.

We have to make do with a quick walk around our local vastly overpriced Disney store for our "quick Disney fix"....:sad2:

Hey Jeff, Chris, and Heather,
They have the excursions up on the Disney Website for our little Dismeet in august.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the heads up...

Good luck with the painting Karen...:)

Hope she feels better today:hug:

Keeping her home again today, fever still over 100 this morning.....

31 cheesecakes!:scared1: - cruel cruel man.........how can you mention 31 chesecakes when my diet is only 2 days old:lmao:

So sorry, My Bad...........

I know how you feel though, I WAS on a diet, then the cheesecakes arrived......................

Expedition Everest is a blast! It's overtaken Rock'N'Roller Coaster as our favorite coaster at WDW. :thumbsup2

I went on that in '06 a few months after it opened. It was pretty awesome. I told Laura at the time that it would single handedly boost AK attendance to rival some of the other parks. (I think that I was proven right)

Great pics. How did you get it for $140? was it on closeout? I'm seeing it online right now for around $200. Newegg.com has the w30 for about $255 and they're throwing in a 1 gig SD card with case. Not a bad deal.

Rose, Dreams Unlimited is offering a double onboard credit if you book a 2009 cruise by 12/31/07. So for a cat 1-7 you would get a $200 OBC and cat 8-12 would get a $100 OBC. If you pay the entire cruise with your Disney Visa you should get an additional $50 OBC.

Does that sound correct to you experts out there?

right on target. That's about all that I could squeeze out for my brother. He was delighted by the way. He didn't expect me to do that well. Silly boy!

just to set the record straight from robins trip report.
underdog did NOT walk into the womens restroom by mistake.:scared:
he was pulled in there by a bunch of crazed female fans.:cool2:
:rolleyes1

Nice I'll have to remember that excuse.

Bunko..:confused3 (withhold thoughts:rolleyes1 )

It's a dice game. We are 16 women who play once a month, including 1 girl from the UK, 1 Canadian, and 2 Aussies---kinda like the dynamics of our KK2 group. I actually won. Nothing major, though. It is a chocolate fondue set from Crate & Barrel. I wanted the wine carafe, but oh well, that's the breaks. We also did gag gifts for Christmas, and I got this hideous garden fairy (think white trash), so I will wrap it up for Emily as a gag gift. Along with the fairy, I got a bottle of Jacob's Creek shiraz--my favorite cheap wine!

It's great fun to play with the UKer and the Aussies because we are always comparing what different words mean in the three different countries. I can't even type the word we were talking about last night.:scared1: :lmao: Suffice to say that my stomach muscles are aching this morning from laughing so hard last night.:rotfl2:

Can I underwrite a $36 million relationship in five hours or less?

:confused3

Stay tuned to find out - unless I start throwing stale fruitcake at co-workers and get carted off to the local sanitarium for a well-earned rest. ;)

Have a good day everyone.

I was next to a lady during the fun life jacket drill ... she said California is supposed to have a Hawaii cruise in a few years since they just bought land for a Disney Resort.:woohoo:

All rumor of course!
