just a drive by post, y'all........

We're here and having a great time, even though it is raining like crazy! We even had a little magic thrown our way. Our first day, we headed to HS on a whim since I hadn't planned on being in the parks on our first day (thought we'd arrive too late). So we go to guest relations to claim our annual passes. Well guess who's name it's under and who forgot her ID at the hotel.....and the hotel is SoG which means limited bus service...Yep, I did a bone-head thing and forgot my ID. So we started to walk away defeated, when the CM starts hollering at me through her window---"Sharon! Sharon!" (my first name, and it's the name on all of my ID's) so we go back and she says that she can sell us 1 day tix and then on the next day when I have my ID, we claim our annual passes and they credit the 1 day tix (which totalled $366 for my family ) We were so happy and I was off the hook for ruining the first day of the trip...lol. The magic was the next morning when we got to Epcot to claimthe APs and get a credit for the 1 day tix. It took a whilefor the CM to get it all done because the CS from HS had made a mistake when writing dowm the claim number on my claim ticket. So he was finally able to do it and apologized for taking so long. I said I was just happy that he could crdit our cc. So to give us a little pixie dust, he gave us a fast pass to any ride in the park! We were thrilled!

Ok sorry if I have a bunch of typos, but I've gotta go---Rob's waking up everyone and we're off again!

HS is Hollywood Studios ... they changed the name of MGM to Disney Hollywood Studios last fall. Personally I think it's a stupid name and I will continue to refer to the park as MGM. But that's just me being difficult.

Good morning all,

It looks like my 50th is the birthday that will not stop. My loving family decided I needed a surprise party- which I told them months agao I wanted nothing to do with. But it was fun and nice to see very one. We just ate and drank too much.

Paige have fun- it's been a rainy week end up here too.

Andy- good job with the exercise, you are keeping a great schedule.

It will always be MGM to me too!!!

Thanks Joanne, I had a 325 calorie burn off this morning. After my workout I decided to weigh myself twice, once with my sneaks on and once with them off, my sneaks weighed 2 pounds. Now I know what to subtract when I weigh myself with the sneaks on..........


Gotta get back to work, raining buckets here this morning, just stopped by the house for a potty break........

Wow..lucky you. Glad you had a good time.

Yes, 2nd row seats were great....but occasionally had to turn around to look behind. I almost missed the phantom hanging off the chandelier! For those moments, the seats back and above would have been great... but of course, the stage would be a lot more distant!

Now that we have had our fun, though, it's back to work even at home. We still have tons of "cleaning"... which is actually going through boxes of stuff to get rid of or find a permanent place for!

Another difficult one: Disneyland Paris was originally called "EuroDisney". So, even though I hadn't gone there yet at the time, I still tend to think that way!

30-Day Shred is a DVD workout program with Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser. There are three workout levels and what I like is that each workout is only 20 minutes. You do three circuits ... 3 minutes of strength work, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abdominal work ... no breaks just 20 minutes of hard work.

Sounds good - I'll have a look on amazon for it ... although every time I read it I read 30 day Shrek for some reason

....found out from a neighbor that the power was out for 2 hours....which meant the sump pump did not have any power for 2 hours during the thunderstorms....yup, water once again in our basement ...

We dropped Alex off at church camp yesterday with Tanya's DD. They were excited to see each other and be at camp they barely could even tell us goodbye. And the funny thing is we usually have to talk them into going each year. And then they absolutely love it.

I'll always call MK parade the Electrical Light Parade.
And, I still call MK, Disneyworld at times. (Like the other parks don't exist).

Hmmmm, MG Potty Camp eh? Well, if I recall my "little boy" was potty trained in the car on the way down to Florida one year. We had his car seat on one side and a potty chair on the other. If it means another trip to Florida, then count this Mother Goose in!!

cassie was in "potty training mode" when we drove to disney one year.(looooong ago) we also took her potty chair. had it in the back of the chevy astro van.(the family truckster)
she'd kill me if she knew i told that.

Now I just need 2 more camps for the week...........maybe a Mother Goose potty camp for a little guy I know that has suddenly stopped sleeping in his bed and finds ours just sooooo comfy! And a camp for a little girl that on the second day of Pre-K day camp found a boyfriend! I'm thinking she would like a cinnamon camp but she will always go to camp VERY close to home! Don't know if we can trust this little one. Warning to all mothers with little boys...........watch your boys carefully on the cruise or they will be given lots of hugs from a certain little prissy girl from Va.

We've had a busy weekend....found out from a neighbor that the power was out for 2 hours....which meant the sump pump did not have any power for 2 hours during the thunderstorms....yup, water once again in our basement ...

oh no jen mouse.
better get a battery backup for that sump pump. we had one at the house before we downsized. worked pretty good.
hope you didnt get too much water.
