Jay and I are planning on cracking open our last bottle of Rose Regale this evening. Yum!!! Too bad you can't jump the ocean and join us ... we're going to have some tasty cheese and bread and fruit to go along with it.

But I have to agree with Jeff ... we girls are just as bad, if not worse. Have you ever seen that movie Mean Girls? Jay and I watched it a few years back and once it was over he looked at me and said, "How much truth is there in that movie?"

And I thought for a moment and then said, "Up until the feel good ending I'd say just about all of it is based in truth. Girls are mean and manipulative and catty ... it comes naturally we don't even have to work at it."

Before he could ask anything else I told him not to ask.

The thing is, it was a girl that started a rumor about Lina, and this boy believed the rumor and broke up with Lina. I told Lina the boy wasn't worth it, if he was going to believe in rumors, and not seek out the truth.

She's a smart, beautiful girl ... she'll be fine once she realizes you're right. Lina's lucky to have you as her dad.

And I guess we don't need to say anything more about the mean and nasties, do we? I've come across women like that in the corporate world, too ... some of them never outgrow it.

Good morning from hot southern CA. It was 110 yesterday.

I went to DL Thursday. It was fun, but wdw is much nicer, cleaner and people are friendlier. Indiana Jones and CA are great rides. Toy story had a two hour wait and no fast passes.

Went to hollywood yesterday and did a tour of the movier stars homes. Then I ran into the daytime emmy's. Two feet away from me was Regi, Ellen, Susan Lucci, Etc. It was fun.

Have the wedding today- I am in charge of picking up food for the bridal party to snack on while getting all the girly stuff done. Wedding is at 2 at Our Lady of malibu!!!

Gas is 4.71 here and traffic is insane.

i remember years ago watching the movie "mean girls" with lindsay lohan.
robin and cassie were like,"thats sooo what high school is like for girls".
i did not know that. learn something new every day.

Oh Becky, I just love this photo!!!! How I wish I was there on a day like that!!!

First off those pics were taken with my Olympus Stylus waterproof camera that I got, and am impressed with the quality of the pics it takes.
That was taken right before we were checking out. It was a cool view. They "drain" the rapids every night, so one morning I got to see them fill up.

I'm joining on "Dawg's" bandwagon. Sorry to offend any parents out there of teenage boys, but the boys can't be trusted. Lina arrived home last night in tears because some slime ball teenage boy broke her heart. I was already in bed sound asleep when she came in the house sobbing her eyes out. Needless to say, it woke me up and took over an hour to calm her down, took me a couple more hours to get back to sleep. I had planned to go into work this morning, but feel too drained to do that today.

Tell her she's better off without him. As a mother of one of the slime ball teenage boys, realize that we mom's try our best to teach girls with respect. I think my little slime ball is doing ok in that area so far, but could change any minute.

Well I'm outty guys (love the CA talk ) Takin Sarah to the city (SF) and seeing Hairspray at the Orpheum.
Between SF and Sacramento we have a great Broadway series coming for next year. I want to see Wicked and Grease in SF and then Color Purple, Avenue Q, and LION KING in Sac. I want to make the Lion King a family event and take my Mom, Dad,Bro, SIL, and Niece and Nephew as well.
