Ok Carrie I have to correct you on this one, it is the Grand Californian Hotel, although it is very similar to the Wilderness lodge in Fl so I can see why you got confused with the name. My friend and I stayed there in May and had a DCA view, this was the view from our room:

Loved the view, we could see the Napa Rose from our room, but haven't ate there. I thought about it in August but Sean and I figured that it was a bit expensive on top of the cruise. Samantha Brown had a Disney special and she said it was one of her favorite places to eat at.

Thank you. Scott always correcs me on it also. You would think as many times as I have been corrected that I should get it right. Besides loving the view do you think it is worth the price to stay there? Could you hear the monorail go through? I saw the special with Samantha Brown. That is what gave me the idea for it. Scott and I really like to live it up for our anniversary and this looked like a really nice place.

I'm joining on "Dawg's" bandwagon. Sorry to offend any parents out there of teenage boys, but the boys can't be trusted. Lina arrived home last night in tears because some slime ball teenage boy broke her heart. I was already in bed sound asleep when she came in the house sobbing her eyes out. Needless to say, it woke me up and took over an hour to calm her down, took me a couple more hours to get back to sleep. I had planned to go into work this morning, but feel too drained to do that today.

Poor thing, give her a for me. Dad is sounds like it is time to go kick some butt.

Well, I'm bringing it back to this side of the pond. I'm sure when Nancy, Lori, Di, Paige, Jen, Tanya, Janice, Melody, Shelley, Cass, Becky, Rose, Carrie and all the other girls read this, they will agree.

Lina, the ones who don't hurt you, are the ones worth keeping.

I agree. I had to go through a handful of boys that broke my heart in some way or another before I met Scott.

I used my DVC points for it, so I didn't pay the cash price. It would be a beautiful place to spend and anniversary. The rooms are very nice and romantic, although I was disappointed that we didn't get Mickey Soap , we did get the same toiletry products that they give on the ship. They also do a turn down service at night, and we had chocolate on our pillows. If you and Scott are planning on spending most of the time in the parks, maybe go for a garden view. I could hear the monorail go by if the door was open, but you don't hear it until it goes by your room, and it is very quite. 10 years is a very special event, and I say go for it if you can afford it.

But I have to agree with Jeff ... we girls are just as bad, if not worse. Have you ever seen that movie Mean Girls? Jay and I watched it a few years back and once it was over he looked at me and said, "How much truth is there in that movie?"

And I thought for a moment and then said, "Up until the feel good ending I'd say just about all of it is based in truth. Girls are mean and manipulative and catty ... it comes naturally we don't even have to work at it."

Before he could ask anything else I told him not to ask.

I do agree. However I think girls take it out on girls and guys take it out of girls. So somewhere the girls keep getting hurt. Scott and I saw that movie when it first came out and he was in shock. He asked if that really is how it works. I just looked at him and said yes when I was back in school. I can only imagine that it is worse now. So of course we got Kelsey to watch it before she went into junior high. Boy she has confirmed that it is a whole lot worse now then when I was in school.

The thing is, it was a girl that started a rumor about Lina, and this boy believed the rumor and broke up with Lina. I told Lina the boy wasn't worth it, if he was going to believe in rumors, and not seek out the truth.

That sounds like girls. The girl who started the rumor probably wanted the guy for herself so she started the rumor in order for him to break up with LIina so the other girl could go after him. That would be my guess.

It is the guys loss if he is going to believe rumors. Lina deserves better then that.

That is the part I am worried about, affording it. Until our DL trip I just planned on going to San Diego for 4 days just the two of us. Staying at the comfort inn on hotel circle. Cheap, but then we could do the touristy stuff down there. Well after this trip Scott suggested staying there for 2 days and San Diego for 2. Right now just a standard room is going for $405 a night. I saw that and thought I was going to die. Then of course I would want a spa treatment. Another $170. I suggested if we were to do this that we just to that part and not San Diego. We will see. I told him it would all need to be paid for in cash and all of our credit cards need to be paid off also. Alot can happen in 3 years but I don't know if all that can happen.

Woke up this morning completly sore and stiff. I hate this. I always get one day out of the week feeling like this where I just really should not even get out of bed. Went to Denny's for our Sat. morning breakfast. We have a friend their that Mackenzie likes to see and he hooks us up pretty well also. As we were leaving the house we saw smoke. Scott said it had been a fire that was burning most of the night and he could smell it at his work. Lucky enought we could not smell it. By the time we got out of breakfast we could smell it which means Mackenzies asthma is going to be bad today. We found the fire. It is less then 2 miles away. It is right behind Mackenzie's school it is a dairy and it looks like it is just a hey fire at this point but all the houses in the neighborhood behind it are going to have a lot of smoke damage. It is really burning now. I just hope the wind does not blow it our way.

Went to put cleaning flyers up this morning in the neighboring retirement communities. I did not get a single one put up. All of told me to come back on Monday when the offices are open.

I must make a correct on a statement I made earlier about our debit. We only have 6 cards not 7. Technically we had 7 but one of them was a VS card and could only be used there. I paid that one off this month and have no intention on using it again. They stopped carrying my size so I really have no need to shop there. Scott just wants to keep the card open for holidays because he likes to get me their perfume.

I would talk to Lina first and see if she would mind if you talk with the girls parents. The last thing you want to do it go off and talk to the girls parents which will give this girl more things to spread rumors about at Lina's expense. It might make things worse for Lina. As much as I hate to say it. This girl will get what she deserves someday, might not be right away but she will get paid back for this and as an adult she will look back on it and see that she was wrong. I know that does not help Lina feel better but sometimes it is better to let Karma take care of things instead of add fuel to the situation. I hope i did not confuse you with that.

we're off to my cousins wedding reception.(2 hr drive )
they got married a month ago on a beach in mexico(i think) and the party is tonite. supposed to be a tropical theme but robin wont let me wear my jessica rabbit cruise shirt.
