Hello Everyone

Hope everybody is having a good day.

I got my full 8 hours. :cool1: I have even come home and worked on some PTSO stuff to send over to the meeting on Thursday. I am just trying to keep busy right now. Scott has taken Kelsey to a very important appointment that could change alot of things in our house hold. I really can not handle the sitting at home and waiting part.

Well work is done, yard is mowed, living room is vacuumed and now I just have to pack. Haven't heard from the traveler. He doesn't leave LAX until 9:30 pacific time. So I won't call and bug him.

Have a great night all. If I don't have time later- have a great week and I will talk to you when I return......

Good morning all,

The resort business is not doing so well in this economy either.

I never even thought about that. No matter how broke we are we always manage to find cash to travel, which means staying at places. Hmmm. Could explain our credit card debit.

Scott just called and they are done with the appointment. Now they are on their way to a pharmacy for a script. Boy have times changed. I thought for sure this dr. would need to see her and evaluate her a few times before any meds. Who knows I don't know what took place and won't until after Kelsey goes to bed tonight.

Looks like a late dinner for us. Boy I really don't want what I made either. I wish we could go out to eat but I am the one who is supposed to enforce the cutting back on eating out thing. Darn it.

Depends.

If you're only booking at about $1,200 on the Wonder, the top savings, would be $120, but more likely less than that because it is figured after the taxes are taken off. Your gamble would be if the BOB goes up by more than your discount, you lose out. If it is still the same when you cruise this fall, it would be a win.

Before you look to transfer the discount to a cruise this year, put a request in for Dreams to quote you on the cruise you're interested in. They may have a group booking for that time and you could take advantage of their discount. May be equal to the DCL onboard offer.

Then call DCL and see what the cost of the cruise would be if you were to transfer the BOB.

Remember, you will still get $50 or $100 I think of OBC with DCL for a 3 or 4 nighter, just not the $200 that goes with 7 night cruises.

Dreams will also have a OBC for you with either cruise (they give it if you xfer a DCL ressie to them).

Hope that is clear. If not, I can explain some more if you have specific questions.
Don't forget the new fuel surcharges they are charging as well now.

Remember my nail varnish that changes colour in the sun I bought on the last cruise from Key West? - I put it on my toes and fingers today:goodvibes

Its sunny here (on and off) so my feet and hands keep changing colour:goodvibes

I got the sunglasses that do that. It is funny seeing in the pictures of our DL trip how they kept changing colors.

Here's hoping all works out for the best Carrie. I know how hard you and Scott have been working on trying to find an answer.

Hazel and I ran to the store to get some milk (for us) and snacks for Project Graduation tonight, seems like a lot of the underclassmen's parents did want to be bothered in supplying treats for tonight. This makes the 4th year in a row that we have supplied snacks, we were always under the impression the underclassmen's parents provided the snacks for Project Graduation. The head of the PTO sent out a distress e-mail this morning saying more snacks and food were needed for tonight, so off to the store we went.

Am I understanding this right. Your school serves snacks and food during the graduation? I got cheated. My school did not offer anything. Evryone was to rushed to get through the ceremony so they could go party.

We actually had a special cast member on our first cruise. Sarah gets migraines from not eating. The second night there, she had one at dinner (and threw up... necessitating a trip to medical in the morning for clearance, I might add!) Our waiter the next night asked about her. After telling him about it, he suggested that he have something ready for her to eat. SO, he brought watermelon ... usually from another kitchen... for her as soon as he could after we were seated. He also did "magic" tricks for the kids (simple science things, but they were impressive!). Sarah really liked him. She still talks about the watermelon. She told us (and him!) that if she were older (she was 7), they could get married!

Again, as I said... too many for me to choose one special memory!

Boy does that bring back memories. It was not a Dis cruise but I had just turned 21. I went on a cruise to Hawaii with my parents. I was just out of a really bad relationship. So my parents thought it would be good for me to go with them. The first night on the ship my mother was ill and stayed in the room for dinner. So it was my father and I and another family of 3. I kept watching the serving station by me to see how they do things (I was working resturants at the time so I was interested). Well I made the comment to my father that our server was cute. By the end of dinner my father told the server that I was just out of a bad relationship and that I need a little extra TLC. (I was in the bathroom when he did this or I would have killed him). When I got back to the table the server and I stayed and chatted for about 2 hours after the dinning room was closed. He said he would show me around the first island because he had the day off. Heck hang with him or my parents. I think the choice was obvious. While out sightseeing I passed out. I was hypoglycemic. When I came to and told him about it he was very caring. He showed up at my room every morning with my favorite meal, eggs benidict. He would bring that before breakfast was even being served. Then he would bring me a cheese tray in the afternoon and a fruit plate every night before bed. I think that was the best part of the cruise was being taken care of like that.

If project graduation is the same as it is here. it's a party all night to keep the kids in and safe. They have games and bands and food and soda's so there is no drinking and no stupid accidents on graduation night. Nothing is worse than picking up the newspaper and reading about a bad accident after graduation because of drinking.

Hope every one is safe and made good choices!!!

Question for any male Konked Kruisers.Who met Chuck and Tony at the Budget car rental right before the cruise last year? I thought it was Cass' Rob, but they both say no and can't remember who it was. It's making us crazy.

Hi All--just got back from dropping Lina off at Project Graduation. This event is held at our local community center from 10pm until 1:30am. The pool, gym and climbing wall will all be open and they have all kinds of food for the kids. Nothing stronger to drink than soda. I got Lina there about 10:10 and the place was quite packed with kids.

I'm not going to have time to post any pics tonight as I have to go to work tomorrow and I need to get some sleep.

All went well, no family crisis, but Hazel and I shed quite a few tears when we saw our baby walk in, then again when she was receiving her diploma and when she was walking out at the end of the ceremony. My camera died just after one of my nieces used it to take a few pics of Hazel and I with Lina. My mom had her camera in her car, so we went and took a few pics with that camera, but I will have to wait a few weeks before I get those pics and can scan them into my laptop.

The weather was absolutley beautiful, we could not have asked for a better night!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes
