September 24, 2008 - Newly Announced, 3-Night Sailing of the Disney Magic

Disney Cruise Line® is celebrating the Disney Magic®'s early exit from a planned September dry dock with today's addition of a special, three-night sailing to begin on Wednesday, September 24, 2008. The previously scheduled, 3-week dry dock has been shortened by 3 days, thus allowing for the new sailing. Several things make this sailing attractive.It's a Steal

As of the time of this writing, a family of four (2 adults, 2 children ages 3 to 12) can sail in a category 11, Standard Inside Stateroom, for as little as $1592, in total. This same party can sail in a verandah (balcony) for only $2232. These rates include all taxes, government fees and fuel surcharges. Or leave the children at home and treat your spouse to a quick getaway for two. Double rates begin at only $901 in total for two. Sometimes it's easier to arrange for coverage when the children are in school, making this Wednesday to Saturday sailing more attractive to couples traveling alone

she's a sweetheart.
she's going through her early terrible 2's though.
when they dropped her off yesterday, she threw a major fit, crying and such.
so i just ignored her, started playing with the magnadoodle by myself. after about 30 seconds of meltdown, she walked over and started drawing with me.
then about 30 seconds later, she said "sorry". i thought i was going to cry.
i didnt realize she learned how to say that word. i asked ds when they got back, and he said she just started saying it the other day.

That is so sweet!

Just got home from work, Kelsey is on her way out the door, and Scott is leaving in about 15 minutes. So it is just me and Mackenzie making the menu and grocery list. Then about 8:00 I am babysitting my adopted sorta niece.

So, when is your first DVC trip then?

Well, first things first, we need to get through Lina's graduation, then we will start looking at dates for a trip "Home!!!" Hoping to sneak in a short stay at OKW the end of August or early September if anything is available.

I almost booked Hazel and I on that 3 day sailing of the Magic on 9/24, but Lina starts Massage Therapy School on 9/15 and since she doesn't have her license, mom will have to be here to take Lina back and forth from school. The school is 20 minutes from our house.
