LOL -- adopted sorta neice?

How old?

She is 6 months old. Her mother is a friend on mine that lives 4 houses away. Recently she started telling the little girl, Perrish, that I was aunty Carrie. In the past few weeks I have started doing daycare fore her 4 nights a week for 3 hours a night. Tonight is just that dad wants to run erronds and mom is at work.

Got my next two weeks of menu's planned and a grocery list made out for tomorrow. So I got all my household stuff done for tonight and I have about 30 minutes before Mackenzie goes to bed and about an hour before Perrish gets here so have time to work on the trip report.

Never mind the phone just rang Perrish is on her way over.

Well, first things first, we need to get through Lina's graduation, then we will start looking at dates for a trip "Home!!!" Hoping to sneak in a short stay at OKW the end of August or early September if anything is available.

I almost booked Hazel and I on that 3 day sailing of the Magic on 9/24, but Lina starts Massage Therapy School on 9/15 and since she doesn't have her license, mom will have to be here to take Lina back and forth from school. The school is 20 minutes from our house.

I know a couple of people who took massage training. They were nurses first. But it was a good supplement for them. Best wishes for Lina on Graduation and starting the school.

I think OKW is generally more available than the others, so you should be able to find a good date.

Our next OKW visit is Thanksgiving weekend. I think our person total is 11. (Some of Matthew's family is joing us.) It will be our 2cnd stay in a Grand Villa!

Carrie,

I read your 2 trip reports. They were excellent!

The Disneyland trip sounds like Mackenzie had a blast, even with the difficulties! I love the pictures of her! I wish I had thought about pictures with all the letters at California Adventure! The pictures were adorable! Megan and Sarah were 2 and 4, I think, when we were there. I got to go shortly after it opened before we left California. The girls didn't go until we took a trip back a year or so later.

Disney annual passes are about the only thing I miss about California, truthfully. Virginia is so much better for the girls! (8 and 10 now,and definite Disney girls!)

This is DD at piano recital at a local church. This was her first recital because the old teacher did not have recitals.

Here are a few of DS playing this season. Only two more games to go. Not sure why he sticks out his tongue. We're afraid he's going to bite it. I hadn't even noticed it in baseball until these pics. It was more noticeable during basketball.

He's the one sliding.

All the great players stick out their tongues. ;)

Seriously, whenever I watch the Cardinals play I notice that Albert Pujols always runs with his tongue out. If the best player in baseball can do it, then your son is in great company! :thumbsup2

Love the pics! :goodvibes

Thank you so much. Needless to say trips are never boring when the whole family goes. But hey it is what makes memories. I did not realize that a lot of the trips I had growing up where something went wrong were the best memories I have now, until my mother got ill. As I sat by her bedside I would tell her all about those trips trying to get some sort of responce from her. I realize now that I remember more of the eventful times then I do the peaceful times.

Just a heads up I got Day 4 posted. Now I am off to work on Day 5 which is our last and final day, well kind of.

Just letting you all know that my trip report is done. Thank goodness. I have stayed up late every night working on.

How old will he be when we cruise? He'll probably be in the same club as Ellis and Jeffs ds? They had lots of fun together last time.
