Just checking in to say Hi and good night. I thought things would get a little more relaxed with school out --Uh No! We're getting some extra projects done around the house and getting ready for DS's birthday sleepover this Fri. He is extremely excited. He keeps checking the date on his ipod. I didn't even know those things had a calendar!

Well, nite all!

I learn something new everyday. I had not idea that they had calendars either. I will have to check with the kids. Kelsey and Kyle have the newer ones and Mackenzie has my old one that I never got into using. Mackenzie did find a game on mine that I had no idea was there.

I'm deliberately trying to stay away from the DIS. It just sucks up so much of my time and I really need to concentrate on losing this weight. I've been getting out more with Kira and doing Deep Water Workouts at the pool 2-3 nights per week.

I will pop in now and again just not very often for the next 4 months.

By the by...we need more Addison pics

Melody, Heather, Mike, Andy, Lori, Karen, Mom, Chris and Cass, Thanks for all the Birthday wishes. Jesse is taking me out for Italian tonight and my mom made my favorite birthday cake. Confetti Angel Food cake with strawberries and cool whip.

I hope my mom and dad bought me something nice.

To everyone else, I hope you are all enjoying the beginning of summer. I'll check back in periodically, but we have Rob's parents visiting, so we are on the go most of the time. Tomorrow night we are headed to Marine Barracks 8th & I, to watch the silent drill team perform. A friend of ours was able to get us VIP tickets, so I have to go shopping for some new clothes...YEEHAA!!!

cute story.. at least we thought so....
the kids dropped off addison and i watched her for a little while. when they got back they told me the other day while they were working on the new babies room, addison came in and saw they had a little baby cleveland indians jacket for the newborn. (now for about 8 months out of the year i'll have an indians hat on. addison always takes it off of me and puts it on).
so when she saw the jacket she said "poppa".

it's funny, lately she been accenting the poppa so when she says it, it sounds like a litle french girl.

I think the idea of being able to order a mixed case is pretty cool - that way you're not committed to any one wine. We bought a case a few years back of Rosemont Shiraz because Jay liked it so much and it took forever to work our way through it.

Anyhoo ... have good times with the in-laws! I'm really going back to my work now!
