I'm deliberately trying to stay away from the DIS. It just sucks up so much of my time and I really need to concentrate on losing this weight. I've been getting out more with Kira and doing Deep Water Workouts at the pool 2-3 nights per week.

I will pop in now and again just not very often for the next 4 months.

By the by...we need more Addison pics :goodvibes

I understand, Cass. I'm going to get back to cleaning right now! (We had a fun day yesterday!)

I'd like to see Addison pics, too. Of course, I need to post some myself! It's on my to do list and moving up!

Since people are pimping their trip reports ...

come check out the most recent update to our travel blog - we're hosting a "guest" review from a fellow DISer who likes to hang on the restaurant boards. He wrote about his "drink-around-the-world" attempt in late March at Epcot. It's quite amusing, although if you're not as fond of drinking as some of us you may not enjoy it as much. But then again, you might because it's just funny. :thumbsup2

So come pay us a visit if you're so inclined! :goodvibes

For those of you interested I just post day 2 part one on my trip report. It took my longer then I wanted since Mackenzie is being a complete handful tonight. Now that she is in bed maybe I can get part 2 done.

i'm on it carrie.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

:lovestruc :cutie: So Le cute!!

she's a sweetheart.:cutie: :cutie:
she's going through her early terrible 2's though.
when they dropped her off yesterday, she threw a major fit, crying and such.
so i just ignored her, started playing with the magnadoodle by myself. after about 30 seconds of meltdown, she walked over and started drawing with me.
then about 30 seconds later, she said "sorry". i thought i was going to cry.
i didnt realize she learned how to say that word. i asked ds when they got back, and he said she just started saying it the other day.:cutie:

Chris, they spent the day in Paris yesterday and the last few days in London. I talked to my Brother-in-law's brother (he left me message on my "mobile" and I had to play it back 3 times to finally understand him!! :lmao: ) and he said they were having a great time. I called him back and was all worried that I wouldn't understand him but I managed ;) He needed my "post code" LOL!

They are heading back to Wigan today, well, I guess by now they are back ::yes:: 7 hours ahead of us!

Howdi Doodi folks..just popping in for a quick catch-up.

Just found this in my list of e-mails this afternoon.

September 24, 2008 - Newly Announced, 3-Night Sailing of the Disney Magic

Disney Cruise Line® is celebrating the Disney Magic®'s early exit from a planned September dry dock with today's addition of a special, three-night sailing to begin on Wednesday, September 24, 2008. The previously scheduled, 3-week dry dock has been shortened by 3 days, thus allowing for the new sailing. Several things make this sailing attractive.

Freshly Dried Magic

Repeat cruisers know that there is no better time to enjoy a cruise ship than right after a dry dock. As a result, one of the most popular sailings of 2008 has been the September 27 sailing of the Disney Magic, originally scheduled to be the first sailing of the newly spiffed-up ship. But now you can beat those folks to the gun and gain bragging rights by signing on to the special, 3-night sailing announced today! Be the first to experience the enhancements and refurbishments that will result from the Disney Magic's longest dry dock ever! During the last dry dock a Jumbotron and a miniature water park were added to the Disney Magic. Who knows what they will add this time!

A "Charming" 3-Night Cruise

It has been years since the Disney Magic has done a 3-night itinerary, so this is really a rare opportunity. The September 24, 2008 itinerary will include a special performance of the musical "Twice Charmed," an original production developed exclusively for Disney Cruise Line's 7-night sailings. So take advantage of your chance to see this twist on the Cinderella story that at present can only be seen on the Disney Magic. "The Golden Mickeys" and "Disney Dreams" will also be performed.

Ghost Ship (but not for long)

Since it just opened for booking this sailing is totally empty. The best rooms and dining times are still available.

It's a Steal

As of the time of this writing, a family of four (2 adults, 2 children ages 3 to 12) can sail in a category 11, Standard Inside Stateroom, for as little as $1592, in total. This same party can sail in a verandah (balcony) for only $2232. These rates include all taxes, government fees and fuel surcharges. Or leave the children at home and treat your spouse to a quick getaway for two. Double rates begin at only $901 in total for two. Sometimes it's easier to arrange for coverage when the children are in school, making this Wednesday to Saturday sailing more attractive to couples traveling alone

Cass--those pics are absolutely adorable........:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

i'm so inclined.:thumbsup2 but i still cant post over there. have i been banned?:confused3 ;)

No, I would never ban the Dawg! One of the downsides to that blogger site is that it is very finicky (I have problems with it sometimes). I've had people tell me that it thinks they're other people and who knows what else ...

sometimes I leave and then come back and it's fine. :confused3

you can always tell us here what you think. I'm curious since this is one installment that I had almost nothing to do with, other than encouraging a near stranger to drink himself into liver failure at Epcot. :lmao:
