I think that room only hold about 14-16 people, no?? I think our group would be much bigger than that. Also, I've read reports about that room getting REALLY hot when there's a big group in there! I wonder if we could take over one side of the restaurant instead??

Might be a better alternative. How many does the entire restaurant hold?

Maybe we could block one of the time slots (I'd prefer the earlier one, but we might be stuck with the later).

I bet we could get our list to at least 30 for that. Maybe even the far section (outside the private room) at the later seating.

Hmmm, not sure exactly What are the times for the brunch?? I wasn't planning on doing the brunch but if we get a big group and can book part or all of the restaurant, I would definitely reconsider

A lot of people aren't that disciplined with their finances and that's where problems occur.

Nothing wrong with your approach. Having piece of mind and relaxing on vacation are key to making the vacation a great one.

I try. But I also know my limitations. One thing I learned early in my marriage, is this: If both of you think there is a $100 extra in the checking account... $200 gets spent.

Sorry we'll miss you by the way in CA. Maybe if we get to the SF area in June 2009 (need to blow some FF miles and DS wants to go see the "big trees") we can somehow hook up.

Let me know if you plan that trip. I'd be happy to meet with you and spend some time. There's quite a few places where you can see the big trees. Near Santa Cruz is a short train ride that takes you through the forests there, then there's Yosemite (Lots of Hilly hiking but absolutely beautiful) and perhaps the most famous is the Calavaras Big Trees.

When I was working my way through the posts on the DS I noticed that the Disneyland Hotel is about to be refurbished of rebuilt even. We're supposed to be staying there in August. I hope I still have a room come the 15th!

Shouldn't be a problem. I understand that if they decide to refurbish they will be doing one tower at a time. If they raze the place, then you may have a problem.

LOL, let's see...I would have to be making about 25000 cakes a year to become a millionaire...that's about 2083 cakes per month....69 cakes per day....with the average of 2 hours per cake....yeah, I don't think I will be booking the Walt Suite anytime soon
