So frustrated, just spent 45 minutes on the phone with our homeowner's insurance company. They sent the bill to me, when it should have been sent to our mortgage company, we went through this same thing last year. They also sent a "copy" of the declorations page to our mortgage company. I was just on the mortgage company website, and saw the mortgage company sent a payment to the insurance company on 4/18/08. The insurance company said to call back next week to see if the payment gets processed.

:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Hey Andy I am kind of dealing with the same thing. My mortgage company paid the insurance company. But then the insurance company sent a pretty substantial refund check to the mortgage company and then sent me a copy of the check saying this has been sent to your mortgage company due to your rate decrease. My mortgage company has not even seen the check yet and it was mailed to them 3 weeks ago.

When they do get the check they will cash it and send it to me personally because it will put the account they keep it in to high.

I won't even think about paying off the BOB until a year from now. The deposit is due next month on the Disney Visa, but I won't pay off until about 100 days out.

I'll have another deposit for a cruise to nowhere after the repo, so that's another $750. I always seem to have 2 open cruises going at a time.

Congrats though Steve for getting to the half way point.

I've done this in the past, trying to pay it off in little bits so that it isn't such a big hit to the pocket book all at once and for me it seems to work. I don't make a payment every month and some months I pay more than others depending on what other bills there are and how much extra I have been able to pick up at work.

Didn't miss me now Steve.

I'm only on for a short bit.

How have you been?

Are you still coming down to DL on the 15th of August?

Sadly, No. Stuart's first day of school is August 12th so we have to be home from vacation before that. It really bummed me out too. I was really looking forward to seeing you and your wife again!

Wow, over halfway paid off :cool1: that's great! I wish I could say the same, I'm trying to make monthly payments towards ours this time.

I'd love to have the financial acumen to save that money and accrue interest all year, but it will disappear. Two years ago I told Laura I would never charge another vacation. If we go on vacation, it will be completely paid off prior to leaving. So far, we have done exactly that. The benefit is that I relax a heck of a lot more when I am not worrying about how I am going to pay for everything once we are home.

Once I pay off the Cruise (probably about October) I will be buying the airfare and paying that off. Then, I will be paying off our stay at WDW. I have all of that done just in time to start saving our spending money.

That is... If everything goes according to plan.

:lmao: :lmao:
love it.:thumbsup2 my kind of humor.:thumbsup2
where did lurking lynn keep you locked up on kk1??:rotfl2:

Just returned from work and getting caught up on the postings from this evening.
Lynn got hooked for KK1 and I did not know:confused: she was spending time on the boards. :confused3 This time around I decided I would do the lurking and see where I go. Lynn's turn to stand back. She said it's to early to get excited. She is thinking of our Xmas visit to WDW this year.:santa:
She does make sure I don't spend to much time on line by asking if I have my next homily, preaching, ready.
Have to continue reviewing the postings so I give out that big good morning posting for all of you who are sleeping as I send this.
Chris

But you'll do it wearing a man's bra, right? :rotfl2:

I remember attending a halloween party for children as a kid, 11 years old, in Fallon, Nevada. I was talked into going dressed as a girl by my parents.:confused3
I got to the party and was so embarrassed I just stood in one spot all night. Even the kids that I thought were my best friends had fun with it.:rotfl2: Once in awhile they would walk by and give me a touch :scared1: in places I won't mention.
That was the last time I let my parents determine my costume. What did I ever do :sad2: to deserve that experience I'll never know. At least my dad could have spoke up on my behalf. :worship:
Thus you will never see me in a bra, not even if I had to much to drink.

Chris

Good morning Chris  bet you didn't think you'd see me here at this time of morning. I think I mentioned to Lynn when I talked to her on the phone that ocassionally I have a night where I can't sleep so I'll be on here late, that was tonight.

I got your anniversary email, I'll make sure Al sees it so he can :rolleyes1

Hey BOBers 18 months from today we will be getting on the Magic :woohoo: Pretty soon it would be time to get up for our meet to watch her sail into the port

:rotfl2: You poor thing :grouphug:
I remember my parents going to a costume party with another couple when I was a kid, the 2 men dressed as nuns :scared1: I can't remember what my mom and the other woman were dressed as though

Goodnight Chris, I'm off now. I need to get some sleep before I need to get Rach up for school. I work tomorrow afternoon, but am supposed to be out at 5, hopefully after this late night the tech that comes in at 4:30 won't be sick because if he is then I'm stuck with the whole night shift :scared1:

Goodmorning to everyone else!

Same goes for me. Good night, or should I say good morning. See you later tonight, tomorrow morning after work unless I get back on before leaving for work.
Chris

Wow people! - lots of pages:cool1:

I missed the unplanned meet at the adult pool. I do not want to miss that again.
As for something that I will skip, traveling with my old best friend. Can you tell it was a REALLY bad day at work?!:sad2:

We'll take over the pool this time round:cool1:

Sorry work isnt going well:hug:

    There must be something in the air with friends from work. One of my coworkers at work who had been a really good friend for over 20 years has been acting very strange and not too nice lately, I feel like I don't even know her anymore, it really makes me sad too so much so that I was dreaming about it the other night and woke up in tears :sad2:

We missed the unplanned meet at the adult pool too and don't want to miss it this time either. I have never actually sat at the adult pool or been in it, only walked past it so I guess just being at the adult pool will be a first.

You too Cheryl:hug:

That pool meet last time was fun. As we saw more people stroll by we just yelled to them and the crowd grew and grew then the ordering of the cocktails started:banana: The only reason I left was cos I had a date with a Mad Hatter for tea:rotfl:

Yeah, Sneaky #1 gets post #1000

and, Sneaky #2 gets post #2000

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:lmao:

What surprised you the most on your last (or previous) cruises? This question can also assist our 1st time cruisers.

Mine has got to be the friendliness of at least 95% of the passengers. I really didn't see any grumpiness. Everyone was so friendly.

I was also surprised to see so few children during the day. I really didn't think they'd rather be in a club.

Must be the Disney atmosphere. :thumbsup2

Good question:thumbsup2

I think what suprised me most was how fast it all went. Everything just flew by... we were usually the last to leave the dining room every night - (its that Jeff -he talks a lot:lmao: )

YAY for looser jeans!

 still working at it:banana:

What is a fairy cake??!!

Just a small sponge cake in a paper dish. Nothing fancy, usually with a bit of icing on the top.

Our dining team and Palo servers were GREAT! I think Karen will agree.

I'd really like those girls again - they were great. I dont know if I'm right but when I have read that dinner service wasnt good on the boards, it always seemed to be off people on a big table. Not sure if this is true, but our servers were fab - couldnt fault them. Palo servers were great too - that one poor guy nearly threw Jeff out :lmao:

Sounding to me that we might want to look into a Palo Brunch DIS meet, unless everyone wants to do it on their own. It's not as romantic as dinner, which most people like to do with their spouse only. Although Karen, Suz, Neil and I had a blast and will again. :cool1:

There always seemed to be KK'ers in there when we were there each time. A dismeet would be fun. Jeff.... you'll let me know the best times right? - your still my travel guide, correct? I dont have to do it all for myself this time round do I:scared1:

Well if no one is going to post, I'll just take my FO and go. :snooty:

 :lmao:

TRIVIA QUESTION

If you stand all the way forward on deck 10 and look straight up, what do you see?
Wait a minute - I'll go take a sneeky look in my book;)

I jsut realized --- I'm on the wrong board :scared1: sorry -- I will leave now!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Byeeeeeeee:wave2:

Wow, over halfway paid off :cool1: that's great! I wish I could say the same, I'm trying to make monthly payments towards ours this time.

Wow! - thats fab! - we havent even started thinking about funds for next Oct yet. We're still working on xmas:lmao:

I might pay off a chunk of it early next year. We'll have our flight deposit paid for by then too.

She said it's to early to get excited. She is thinking of our Xmas visit to WDW this year.:santa:

Chris

What dates will you be there? - theres quite a few of us there at xmas:goodvibes

Hey BOBers 18 months from today we will be getting on the Magic :woohoo: Pretty soon it would be time to get up for our meet to watch her sail into the port

still 18 months away:sad:

Well, its 10am, Ellis is about to go to Grandma's for the day.... I'm tempted to go for lunch with Neil somwewhere nice but dont want to blow the diet:rolleyes:

Maybe I could lunch then when Neil goes to work I could head to the gym and burn it off before collecting Ellis! - sorted:thumbsup2
