10/24/2009 - Bash On the Boat (I'm With BOB) - thread #5

Is there something you missed doing on your last cruise that you absolutely will not miss out on this time? And...is there something you will skip this time around?

Missed but will not do so again:
1.Going away party. I simply did not pay attn to time and it got away from me.
2. Rockin Bar D: Those who were there had too much fun. My kids will be older and I will not worry about them so much.
3. Did the Palo's brunch but didn't do a dinner: we will definately be on a wait list for a second ressie!!!!!
4. Shore Excursions worth doing: I will be picking everyone's brain for what is best to do onshore. I went it alone last time and really could have done better.
5. Nighttime showings of Movies on the outdoor screen. Didn't know they were doing this until one of the last nights. I'd like to bundle up with the kids and do a "drive-in" style movie.
6. I didn't even go into that dessert cafe even once during the last cruise. I'll definately be checking it out this time.
7. Kids graduation. Oops! Well, it was a busy night.

Will not do next time:
1. Most of the shows. Been there, done that.
Wow that's all I can think of. Not bad!

We're having meatloaf for dinner tonight. Just came out of the oven a little bit ago. Rach already ate but I'm waiting for Al to get home, he was working in Oconomowoc today so he has a bit of a drive.

There must be something in the air with friends from work. One of my coworkers at work who had been a really good friend for over 20 years has been acting very strange and not too nice lately, I feel like I don't even know her anymore, it really makes me sad too so much so that I was dreaming about it the other night and woke up in tears

We missed the unplanned meet at the adult pool too and don't want to miss it this time either. I have never actually sat at the adult pool or been in it, only walked past it so I guess just being at the adult pool will be a first.

Lori, we walked in right at the end of it too. The party was over when we finally realized it was a KK party.

That's a pretty good list there Steve. At least you didn't have 7 things to list in the "Won't Do" list. And...don't be such a stranger. Pop in more often plz.

hey I would think you would like meatloaf, it's just like one big burger and I know you said you eat burgers. If you're refering to the movie the christmas story, I have actually never seen that movie

Tuna's plate...3 scrambled eggs TOUCHING 6 strips of bacon TOUCHING 1/2 pound of potatoes DRENCHED in maple syrup!!

I told Chuck about you and your hatred of food that touches. He lifted his fork and said..."Well then, this is to you Mike my friend"!!

And yes, he pours syrup over his eggs, tators, and bacon.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Rainforest. We had a pass when we went in 05 but in 07 we were too busy entertaining the kids that we forgot about it. That and the fact that we had one less "at sea" day this time around.

Well, this time the unplanned meet will be a planned meet - we'll take over the joint!

We went to the adult pool the first night...Thomas decided he was just fine in the club all by himself (pretty much pushed us out the door) and the club staff said we could leave him if he was comfortable. The two of us stared at each other - we didn't know what to do! So, we went up to the adult pool and practically had it to ourselves. Of course, it was raining just a bit, but there's a roof over the hot tub...
