Gotta head back to Ellis' school tonight for a meeting:rolleyes: - how come Neil always manages to stop away in a hotel on nights like these?

While I'm in school being lectured on exams he'll be in a pub then restaurant with his workmates:rolleyes: - I guess I drew the short straw:sad2:

Good morning folks

What a night!

We had fairly bad weather forecast overnight last night - boy - they got that worng! -FAIRLY BAD???? - HOW BAD WIZARD OF OZ BAD????

We had things blowing everywhere and the noise was horrendous. Barely slept. Neil gave up at 5am and went to work. He had to drive to Wales and the forecast there was real bad so I was panicking til he called to tell me he'd got there fine and it was lovely and sunny there:eek:

We had some weird weather as well Karen all day.

I want to do the round on the front with our DIS name and real names (Cass, Sweet Pea, Can I get some help with that? :lovestruc ) and the Mickey Pumpkin on the back. Not sure what color yet.

Absolutely sugar plum :goodvibes :lmao: Lemme know what you want and I shall do it for you!

The trick with doing iron-ons on both sides is to NOT have them in the same place. If you do the front near the breast pocket and then on the back do one lower down in the middle then you won't have any problems ;)

Sweet kitty! :lovestruc

LOL, if you knew him you wouldn't say that :rolleyes1 :rotfl: We should have called him Lucifer :rotfl2:

Been looking at Desert Inn and Suites...against the Paradise Pier for our up coming CA trip
BLOODY HELL...:scared1:

Paradise Pier=Hotel only $810
Paradise Pier=Hotel and 4 Day Park Hopper® souvenir ticket $1744(that's what am booked as of now)

I think we'll only be at DL on the Friday so the day in Disneyland is costing me $950:scared1: I THINK NOT SIR...

OR

Desert Inn and Suites=Hotel only $327
Desert Inn and Suites=Hotel and a 2-Day Park Hopper $857

Becky was it you that said you'd stayed here?...If so would you stay there again?...Thanks...:)

How about the Disneyland Hotel..is it not cheaper?

$2.50 approx.

we're at $3.00 per gallon for "unleaded" gas. For mid-grade it's $3.10 and premium is $3.25. After seeing the closing pricing on crude today ($108 per barrel ... :scared1: ) I'm sure those prices will jump another 25 cents by the time I leave work tonight.

I miss the good old days of $20 a barrel oil and 99 cent gasoline. :sad2:

Becky is the one who recommended it to us and she said she would stay there again.

Sorry to answer for you Becky but I thought I would add my two cents. Correct me if I am wrong

I would stay there again. Haven't been there for awhile, but what I do like is that they have the suite, sitting room and a bedroom that has a door that can be closed, plus a microwave and fridge. It's definately not the Ritz, but it is a decent place to sleep in, and it is walking distance to the park, probably just as far as you would walk if not closer to the Paradise Pier.
1st floor is parking, then the uppers are rooms, they do have elevators.

I miss you Baby

The Dodge Durango, this is what we are looking at getting in November after our lease is up on the van. (I know Jeff, I know, the biggest mistake of a purchase we ever made)

3.52 here in CA, and that is the cheaper stations, just to let all of you know back east we are looking at possibly $4 a gallon come summer if not sooner. If it wasn't for our pop up trailer I would be looking at cars instead of SUV's come November.

Ok..as no one answered me, I'll ask again...;)

Panini's....where exactly?

Goofy's Galley?

Thanks

We are at $3.10 here for unleaded. My parents are an hour north and they are at $3.19.:scared:

You sure Chris...that'll be £1.80 a litre. It's £1.08 down in London.

Looks like the fat bloke is getting his Gallons and his Litres mixed up Petrol price today is $8 a gallon...

BTW...I don't own a car anymore cos it's far cheaper to hire one when i need one rather than have it stood on the drive for weeks at a time....And car hire can be set against your tax bill...:rolleyes1

No it's not the Hotel price i have a problem with it's the 4 day hopper pass that comes with my booking that i simply won't use,$950 for DL for one day is steep even by Mickey standards...:lmao:

It's insane, isn't it?

When I first took the job I have (nearly five years ago) I think gas was about $1.25 per gallon. It's getting very hard to justify a 60-mile roundtrip daily commute with $3-$4 per gallon gas. If this keeps up I'm really going to have to make a budget.

Oh, I don't think it's going to get better anytime soon.

I know we're cutting corners because of higher prices on gas (and everything else)....

I don't understand what causes the prices to go so high though? :confused3

Yeah I can't wait. The comment for Jeff is that we are leasing and give the car back vs purchasing, was not a very wise and economical choice, but live and learn. As for the Durango, Sean is bound and determined to buy American made this year.

Love learning the "Brit" sayings too! I have a teacher here that is from Britain and I try them on her every once in awhile. We tell her that she is teaching the kids the Queen's english here, and most of them can learn some of dat(as they say)
