I'm doing ok...probably going to turn in soon though. I'm pretty much a morning person....my bedtime is about 9:00

Speaking of animals..Candy is not well.

Mike took her to the vet yesterday while I was working. The vet said, first she needs to lose weight. Then she needs to "move it or lose it" She gave her a cortisone shot and an extra pill to take. Then she saw her get up and walk.

She got tears in her eyes and said forget about putting her on a diet. Her right front leg is bad. She said she could take an xray, but it will either show she has torn ligaments or cancer.

The receptionist said as he was leaving. "just keep her as comfortable as possible." We really don't know how long she has. She still gets perky ears when I come home or say "Do you want to go for a ride" But she wines once in a while and can't walk very well. Those extra pills seem to be helping a little.

She'll be 11 in July. The vet said labs live to be about 10 to 12 years. When you calculate her breed and weight, she is 13 yrs old.

I guess I was a little too late getting on.

Sorry, I haven't been on too much. School is really eating up my time. Each class is 5 wks. long. That's 1/3 the time I would normally have.

The reading assignments each week are about 5 chapters in addition to posting discussion on specified days, writing a Reflective Paper and taking exams at the end of each week on stuff you just crammed into your head. It's crazy!

Watching in second episode of Dirty Sexy Money - advice please - does it get better?

I never thought so. We watched it a few times after some show that we really did like--can't remember. DH watched it while graded papers or paid bills--after kids went to bed. Anyway, I was always just frustrated by it. A glimpse of hope for a character and then it would get worse!

Oops...yes! I forgot to mention that...Anthony and Andrew are my nephews. They're Pete's sister's boys, and they will be cruising with us.

I was wondering who they were as well. All these little guys on the cruise (my DS will be 9 on cruise). They should have a blast!

We had such a wonderful time tonight. John and Gayle brought us back a lithograph that they had signed by Captain Tom and also gave us a couple of 10 Year DCL Anniversary pins. Oh, and the Chocolate Lava Cake was to die for, so much so, that I had seconds!!!

So sorry to hear about Candy's health concerns....


Our lab (Midnight) was 11 and 1/2 when we had him put down a little over two years ago. It got to the point where Midnight would fall down and not be able to get up for an hour or more. He also lost control of his bodily functions, so we knew it was time.....

Disney Cruise Line to stay at Port Canaveral
Mar 26, 2008

An agreement has been reached between Disney Cruise Line and Port Canaveral, ending speculation that DCL was seeking an alternate home port.

Under the terms of the 15 year contract, Disney's two new ships, expected to set sail in 2011 and 2012, will be stationed at Port Canaveral during the first three years of operation.

The new ships will be able to accommodate 4000 guests, 1300 more than the Disney Magic and Wonder. The Port Canaveral Authority has committed to building a 1000 space parking garage as well as expanding the dock, enhancing the terminal and enlarging the check-in area.

The construction is scheduled to be completed by October 1, 2010. In order to offset the $22 million cost, a $7 per person charge will be applied to Disney Cruise Line tickets beginning in 2010.

Over the course of the 15 year agreement, the Port anticipates generating $200 million in revenues.

The contract satisfies Disney's need for flexibility and the Port's need for a long term commitment to justify the necessary capital improvements.

Port Canaveral has also announced that Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas will replace Mariner of the Seas in 2009.

I need some opinions. I really would like to get some formal pictures done of Sean and I in his Class A uniform. I know that military personnel where their uniforms for formal night, but would it be silly to wear his?
This would be for the PC cruise, so Chris if he does you better be careful the cops will be sitting at the table.
(with no jurisdiction to do anything)
